Chapter 312: Chapter 309: Just a Tool

"Don’t worry, as soon as I find the right opportunity, I’ll bring it up with them again," Zhang Hao assured.

"But you have to be prepared for the worst-case scenario."

At this point, Zhang Hao deliberately left her in suspense.

Without finishing the rest of what he had to say.

In doing so, the anxiety that He Qianhui had just quelled flared up once again.

She sat up, her eyes reflecting a mixture of doubt and sincerity.

"What do you mean by worst-case scenario? You... what are you really thinking?"

"Don’t tell me you plan to use me and then throw me aside, to find someone better?"

Seeing He Qianhui’s strong reaction, Zhang Hao quickly shook his head.

"That’s not what I mean at all. What I meant was, you should be prepared to not be blessed by my parents."

"As the saying goes, a marriage without the blessing of elders is definitely not a good one."

"But I believe that isn’t the deciding factor of whether a marriage is happy."

So that’s what he meant, and Qianhui let out another sigh of relief.

"Next time can’t you just say what you mean straight out? Always scaring me like this, do you find it amusing?"

Zhang Hao chuckled mischievously, "Isn’t this just a little surprise for you? Now you can rest easy."

"Once things settle down on my end, we can start thinking about getting married."

He Qianhui got dressed again, the very picture of propriety from the outside.

No one knew how lascivious she really was beneath the skirt.

"Who wants to marry you? I just see you as a tool," she retorted.

"To take care of my physical needs, nothing more. Don’t flatter yourself too much."

Upon hearing this, Zhang Hao moved in silently for the attack.

Her legs were tightly closed, but it was as if Zhang Hao’s hand had a mind of its own.

It went straight under her skirt, sure and ruthless, and invaded that irresistible, tender spot.

After slipping inside, he began to probe and dig ceaselessly.

"What’s that? You don’t want to marry me? Were those words from your heart? I’m giving you a chance to rethink and say it again."

He Qianhui struggled to suppress the amazing sensation her body was experiencing.

"I... I won’t marry you, only a fool would marry you."

"I’ve finally become a bachelor, why would I want to revert to my old life by marrying you?"

Seeing that Qianhui was still standing firm, Zhang Hao increased the intensity of his fingers.

He was so forceful; he seemed to want to sink his whole hand inside her. If their games grew more and more extreme,

it was possible that one day he really could make that happen.

Eventually, it was He Qianhui who couldn’t endure Zhang Hao’s assault and caved in.

She stammered, "Yes, yes, I do want to marry you and bear you a couple of chubby sons."

Pleased to hear what he wanted, Zhang Hao nodded contentedly.

Then slowly withdrew his hand, "That’s more like it. However, I prefer daughters. If she turns out as beautiful as you, that would be wonderful."

Breathless, He Qianhui replied, "Well, I sure hope she doesn’t end up with a boyfriend like you one day."

Zhang Hao hissed, "What’s wrong with having a boyfriend like me?"

"Cares for you, takes care of the family, and makes money. Infinitely better than those gambling, whoring layabouts."

The two playfully teased each other in the car for a while before preparing to head home.

Even though He Qianhui didn’t close the deal, at least today proved one thing.

They hadn’t made a mistake buying this car. The space was ample enough for both of them,

allowing them to indulge in any position they fancied.

He Qianhui unfastened her seatbelt as the car parked in front of the apartment building,

Through the rearview mirror, she saw a person, causing the blood in her veins to run cold.

Zhang Hao, seeing her odd behavior, curiously asked, "What’s wrong? Did you see something?"

"Hao, don’t get out of the car. Make sure the windows and doors are closed tight."

Hearing her stammer, Zhang Hao knew an uninvited guest had definitely arrived outside the car.

Could it be his parents? But if it were his parents, He Qianhui wouldn’t be this scared.

Unless this person had a significant grievance with them. Could it be his cousin?

Zhang Hao turned to look and sure enough, Liu Gang stood there holding a black briefcase.

When he had driven here, how had he not noticed?

It seemed like someone had cleared the way for them, but he hadn’t seen the person’s face clearly as they were facing away.

"You stay in the car; I’ll go down. No matter what, he’s my cousin and won’t hurt me. I’m telling you not to get out, so don’t, to avoid getting hurt."

At the crucial moment, Zhang Hao still showed the courage of a real man.

He Qianhui wanted to stop him but failed.

"Be careful, Hao."

Their relationship wasn’t a secret from anyone; thus, Zhang Hao held no guilt towards his cousin Liu Gang.

He could face him squarely and ask what he wanted.

That’s what he thought, but it didn’t mean Liu Gang felt the same.

Ever since Liu Gang divorced He Qianhui, he had been involved with several women.

Each one was after the money in his wallet, including the previous one.

After he transferred the money to her, she stopped contacting him, neither answering calls nor replying to messages.

That was what made him realize how good a woman He Qianhui was.

Marrying her as his wife was the fortune of several lifetimes for him.

Perhaps he hadn’t garnered enough fortune, so he remained childless in this lifetime.

After some contemplation, Liu Gang finally came to terms with being childless.

Having a wife who loved and cared for him was enough.

What’s more, his wife had been loyal to him during their marriage.

She hadn’t sought out other men to satisfy her physical desires.

She had never despised him for his shortcomings, which had never truly served their purpose.

"Cousin, you’re back?"

Zhang Hao didn’t know the right words to initiate the conversation.

To break the silence, he chose that line.

However, Liu Gang seemed not interested, his gaze fixed intently toward the passenger side of the car.

Zhang Hao looked back for a moment and said in a low voice.

"We just got the car today; Xiaohui likes it a lot. This afternoon we went for a long drive and did it in the car."

Upon hearing this, Liu Gang’s gaze snapped back violently, glaring at Zhang Hao.

He threw his briefcase to the ground and strode quickly towards him.

Zhang Hao stepped back, thinking his cousin would stop, but he instead accelerated.

"What are you trying to do, cousin? You can’t hurt anyone in public."

Zhang Hao kept backing up while speaking, but Liu Gang was like a fiery steed, not listening to anything until He Qianhui stuck her head out the car window and yelled.

"Liu Gang, what are you doing? If you dare hurt him, I’ll call the police right now and have you arrested."

Hearing He Qianhui’s voice, Liu Gang finally regained his senses.

Seeing this woman again, she was as beautiful as ever, even more so than when they were together.

Liu Gang’s tears couldn’t be stopped; they poured out of his eyes.
