Chapter 250: Chapter 247: Playing with the Little Red Bean
After the pleasure, He Qianhui still remembered her duty, dutifully cleaning up his gradually softening member with her mouth.
There was no one else besides He Qianhui who could do this with such dedication.
Watching her attentively lick him clean, Zhang Hao fondly stroked her hair.
Not minding the last bit left on the tip, He Qianhui sucked it into her mouth and swallowed it down with her saliva.
"You always want to eat it, but this stuff really doesn’t taste good, you know."
He Qianhui lay in Zhang Hao’s arms, gently playing with his little bean and drawing circles on it.
"It’s okay, I like it and that’s what matters. The experience differs with the entry, so does the outcome."
Every time He Qianhui would say so, and Zhang Hao was left without any options.
As long as she liked it, he let her be.
Zhang Hao lay on the bed, his hands propped behind his head, enjoying the moment of comfort.
"I think it might be time to consider leaving this company."
He Qianhui’s sudden remark took Zhang Hao by surprise as his brain was still catching up.
"What brought on that thought so suddenly, has someone in the company been speaking ill of you?"
He Qianhui shook her head, "I’m just a little worried, that male colleague used to be really nice to me before all this."
"But being in the same company, it’s awkward to face him every day."
However, such concerns of He Qianhui weren’t a problem for Zhang Hao at all.
"If you don’t like the current work environment, then change it. There are plenty of jobs out there. If nothing else works, you can come to our hospital."
He Qianhui looked up at him with a pitiable expression, "Go to your hospital, what could I even do there? I can’t give shots, mix medicines, or treat and save patients."
"Not everyone in a hospital is a doctor. Maybe I can get you into the management," Zhang Hao said seriously.
As soon as He Qianhui heard this, she knew that Zhang Hao must be joking with her.
Could one just waltz into a hospital’s management level? Even if she were willing, they might not accept her.
Besides, the salary at the hospital couldn’t compare to the bonus she received from securing a deal.
"Forget it, I won’t stir things up at your hospital. Anyway, I was just thinking about it. It’s not like I have to leave right now, so let’s just leave things as they are for now."
A week flashed by, and He Qianhui ultimately didn’t leave the company.
Although it was somewhat awkward interacting with that male colleague, what was done couldn’t be undone.
One couldn’t simply become the third party and steal someone else’s girlfriend.
"Xiaohui, come to my office."
At the manager’s call, He Qianhui immediately set aside her work, clicked her way across the floor in black high heels and arrived at the manager’s office.
Click-clack, she pushed the door open.
The manager’s office was decorated with care, especially the massive tea tray on the desk that looked antique.
"When did you get this? It’s quite nice," said He Qianhui.
"A friend gave it to me, but that’s not important. I recently negotiated a deal and don’t have time to follow up."
"Take a look and see if you want to take it over. However, the bonus might not be as much as before," he said.
"After all, I brought in this deal through my contacts, I can give you at most three percent."
Having negotiated many deals, He Qianhui had a rough idea of how much three percent would amount to.
But she had always relied on the manager to thrive in the company. Even if it meant earning less, she was willing to take on the deal.
She flipped through the details and found that it was actually a medical equipment supply deal.
"Manager, it’s not that you don’t want to follow up, it’s because you know my boyfriend works in the hospital, isn’t it? You want to take advantage of that to seal this deal," she said.
The manager’s little trick was immediately seen through by He Qianhui.
He chuckled, "This is what you call not letting the water flow into others’ fields."
He Qianhui shook her head helplessly and took the folder into her hands.
"Alright, I got it. I’ll definitely try my best to get this done for you."
Before she left, He Qianhui even shared a pot of tea with the manager in the office.
"Xiaohui, I’m growing fonder of you by the day. The performance report for last quarter is out."
"Our branch has moved up from one of the last to the top three, and you have made the biggest contribution."
"The big boss knows about it and said that he wants to have a dinner party tomorrow to properly thank you."
For such a big matter, He Qianhui couldn’t decide on her own.
"I don’t think that’s necessary. After all, it’s just part of my job, and I also have to follow up on new business."
"I don’t have time for this meal. Manager, please just convey my thanks for me; there’s no need for any extravagant waste," He Qianhui declined.
"How is this a waste? It’s an acknowledgment of your work. You must come; if you’re worried, just bring your boyfriend along," the manager said.
Since the manager put it that way, He Qianhui knew that refusing any further would seem unreasonable.
"Alright then, I’ll see if my boyfriend is available, and have him join the fun as well."
As she left the manager’s office, she ran into that male colleague head-on.
Because of that previous incident, He Qianhui hadn’t spoken a word to him since.
Now standing face to face, apart from a hint of surprise, He Qianhui’s eyes showed no other emotion.
As for the man, after resting at home for several days, he had forced himself to adjust his mentality.
Pretending as if nothing had happened, he came to work. But every time he saw He Qianhui,
especially the ring on her middle finger, it pained his heart.
He had never liked a woman as much as he liked He Qianhui.
Seeing that He Qianhui was ignoring him, the man took the initiative to speak.
"Xiaohui, I’m leaving."
"Ah? Where are you going?" He Qianhui asked instinctively.
Her tone was filled with confusion and nothing more.
"I’m here to hand in my resignation. Rather than seeing you every day, I would rather find a place where I can’t see you. We’ll part ways indefinitely."
To this, He Qianhui reacted indifferently, "In that case, I wish you a smooth journey and a bright future. I have to go now; I have things to do."
That afternoon, He Qianhui, carrying the new business, arrived at Zhang Hao’s hospital.
Before, she came for herself, but this time it was different.
But Zhang Hao thought she came for him, so he took a special 10-minute break, wanting to spend some time with her.
However, as soon as He Qianhui spoke, she actually asked if she could go with him to see the leader.
"What do you need our leader for? Don’t tell me you want to interview at the hospital?"
Originally, this statement was said in jest; neither Zhang Hao nor He Qianhui took it seriously.
But now she suddenly asked to find his leader, and Zhang Hao became instinctively cautious.
"If not looking for your leader, whom would I look for? Hurry up and take me to him," she said with determination.
Seeing her so insistent, Zhang Hao didn’t ask further.
Whatever the issue, it could be cleared up once they got home after work, no need to rush this instant.
