Chapter 553: Chapter 495 You Know Nothing About Actresses

"Who would do that? A bouquet a day?"

"Beats me. And the sender never left a name." As Vivian spoke, she took out a few pretty ones from the bouquet and placed them in a vase.

She looked down and saw the card tucked in the bouquet. She took it out and placed it on a nearby bookshelf, where there were many gifts from her fans. She hadn’t gotten time to take them home.

When Melissa came to Star Entertainment, she saw Vivian holding roses in her hand.

"Vivian, who gave you the roses?" Melissa asked with a smile.

"I don’t know either." When Vivian saw Melissa, she was stunned and put down the flowers in her hand.

The agent joked, "Maybe the person you love wants to pursue you."

Vivian’s hand that was holding the flower petals paused. She seemed to have thought of something, and the corners of her mouth curled into a bitter smile.

But the smile vanished when she turned around. She took out the script in her burse and sat on the side, starting to memorize her lines.

"It must be a gift from a film fan. And didn’t you say that I shouldn’t date anyone as a public figure?"

"Girl, dating will..."

"Drive my fans away." Before the agent could finish her sentence, Vivian had already skillfully continued her sentence for her. 𝕗𝐫𝚎𝗲𝘄𝐞𝕓𝐧𝕠𝘃𝕖𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝚖

The agent smiled and said, "By the way, you got the part for the shampoo commercial."

Upon seeing the company’s information, Vivian was stunned for a moment. "Diamond Corporation? They always invite the big stars. Why me?"

"Fan base is the most important when hiring a spokesperson, and you happen to be so popular. Plus, you are a big star. You’ll go straight to the scene tomorrow," the agent said.

"Vivian, the commercial suits you very well. Bring out your best." Melissa patted Vivian on the shoulder and turned to walk into her office.

"Tomorrow? So soon?"

Vivian muttered and reached out to touch her hair. "Can we negotiate with them and let them photoshop the commercial? It’s easy to change my hair color, right?"

"Why don’t you just let them put you in the commercial? You don’t have to show up at all."

"I’m about to lose my beautiful hair color. Can’t you feel sorry for me?" Vivian looked at her agent pitifully, but her agent had long been immune to this.

"But I also didn’t expect that this time, Diamond Corporation named you directly. Moreover, you won’t just be the regional agent. You will be representing the whole company."

"What?"

Vivian was a little surprised. Diamond Corporation was a brand with a history. The product quality of this brand had been good for years, so, it had established a good reputation and could be regarded as the bellwether in this field.

The previous spokespersons were big stars who had won all kinds of awards. Being chosen made Vivian somewhat flattered.

Though Vivian was pleasantly surprised, she was still narcissistic.

"They have great taste. I will definitely become famous in the future."

"Alright. You are a rising star. Satisfied?" The agent smiled.

Vivian quietly snorted. She looked at the thick script in her hand and suddenly picked up a pen and drew a smiley face on the corner of the paper.

She smiled and muttered that it was so ugly.

Because there was an outdoor scene in the commercial shooting, Vivian went to the scene early in the morning to do the styling. Vivian looked at the busy film crew and could not help but sigh. Indeed, Diamond Corporation was a big company. They made such a big deal for just a commercial.

After talking to the director about the process, Vivian began shooting promotional photos and a short commercial.

Vivian had thought that such a big shooting would have very strict requirements. However, her shooting went smoothly, and the director also told her to relax. After the morning, Vivian did not feel very tired.

"Cut!"

The director knocked on the paper tube in his hand, and the morning shooting came to an end. Vivian breathed a sigh of relief and walked to the monitoring screen to check her performance.

"Your expression is nice, and the effect is very good. The feature film will begin in the afternoon. Go to rest first."

The director was a middle-aged man, and he had a kind smile. Vivian thanked the staff and walked to the rest area.

"Good job."

A glass of juice suddenly appeared in front of Vivian, who was checking her phone. She thought it was brought by a staff member, but when she looked up, she saw a familiar face.

"Why are you here?" Vivian blinked in surprise and looked at Arno with a smile.

"I heard that the new spokesperson is shooting today. I came over to take a look." Arno sat down.

Vivian held the juice and did not react to what Arno said.

Seeing her confused look, Arno blinked and said mysteriously, "Let me tell you a secret. The surname of the chairman of Diamond Corporation is Dewar."

"Dewar?" Vivian muttered. Then she looked at Arno’s smile and suddenly realized something.

"You... This is your..."

"My father is the chairman."

Arno pushed his glasses up the bridge of his nose. Though he sounded like he was showing off, she didn’t find him annoying.

In Vivian’s impression, Arno was gentle and refined.

It turned out that he was indeed a rich kid.

"Since your family owns Diamond Corporation, why are you a doctor?"

Vivian blinked her eyes in confusion. Could it be the same as the plots in the novels, that the badass president had various skills?

"Actually, my father has always wanted me to inherit the family business. He even forced me to study finance when I was in college. But I just didn’t want to be a businessman.

"That’s why I secretly changed my major and went to study medicine. Then, I became a doctor. Because of this, my dad almost drove me out of the family," Arno said indifferently.

As he spoke, Arno revealed a pitiful expression, causing Vivian to laugh.

But in fact, Vivian had already thought of Arno as another person.

It was not good to go against the wishes of the elders, but he was working hard for what he liked. That was enough.

"I was watching you when you were shooting just now, and you look totally different under the camera," Arno praised.

"You’ve been watching?" Vivian hurriedly recalled the scene where she was shooting, wondering if she acted strangely when facing the camera.

"I just arrived." Arno smiled and pushed the juice at hand to her. "The food is on its way. Drink some juice so that you won’t be starving."

Looking at the juice in the glass, Vivian blinked and then resolutely refused him.

"No. I’ve been on a diet recently. Juice has a lot of sugar."

Although she said this, Vivian’s gaze still lingered on the juice. Her longing amused Arno.

"On a diet? You are not fat at all."

"You know nothing about actresses," Vivian mumbled.
