Chapter 485: Chapter 427 Stay Away from Jaylin

In the hospital.

Jaylin lay helplessly on the bed. His wounds were aching faintly, but his heart ached even more.

Back then, Jaylin believed Melissa and Murray had fallen out with each other and had separated.

When Jaylin heard that Murray was going to engage with Ryleigh, Jaylin, on the one hand, felt Murry was such a scum to lay Melissa down, but on the other hand, he felt somehow happy.

Because Jaylin thought he had a chance again.

However, at the engagement ceremony, Jaylin finally realized that there was nothing except his wishful thinking.

The breakup between Melissa and Murray was just a part of their plan.

They did it to disclose Ryleigh’s scheme to the public.

When Murray expressed his love to Melissa, and when Murray kissed Melissa on her forehead, Jaylin felt a sharp pain deep inside of himself.

Because Jaylin knew he would never have another chance.

When Jaylin was lying on the bed in the hospital, Melissa’s voice and smile still flashed in Jaylin’s mind from time to time, and Jaylin’s heart ached.

And in a trance, Jaylin thought he could hear Melissa talking.

Murray drove Melissa to the hospital.

"Wait for me. Visiting Jaylin won’t take me too long, and I will be back soon." Getting out of the car, Melissa said to Murray.

"I will go with you," Murray said, grabbing Melissa’s hand.

Murray knew Jaylin’s affection for Melissa very well, so he didn’t want Jaylin to stay with Melissa alone.

Melissa sighed helplessly secretly for Murray’s alertness and said, "Fine."

Before Melissa and Murray went into Jaylin’s ward, they found the doctor.

Melissa asked, "Sir, how about Jaylin? Is he OK?"

The doctor replied respectfully, "Ms. Eugen, Mr. Segar is fine. His old injury has been dehiscenced, and he needs to rest more."

"I see. Thank you, Sir." Melissa heaved a sigh of relief and thanked the doctor.

Melissa knocked on the door of Jaylin’s ward.

"Come in," Jaylin said with his deep voice.

Opening the door, Melissa entered the ward followed by Murray.

When Jaylin saw Melissa, he smiled at her.

However, Jaylin then saw Murray, and his smile froze.

"Jaylin, are you alright?" Melissa walked to the bed and asked Jaylin.

"I’m fine. Thank you." Jaylin answered. And the light lit by Melissa faded.

"OK, then. Let’s go home." Murray, standing by Melissa’s side, suddenly said coldly.

Melissa was speechless by Murray’s absurd behavior. They were coming to visit a patient, and they had been in the ward for about one minute.

"Go out and wait for me. I have something to say to Jaylin." Melissa said as she pushed Murray out of the ward.

"Melissa, what do you want to say?" Seeing Melissa drive Murray out of the ward, Jaylin became happy.

Melissa nodded and asked, "Why did you insist on going to work at night? Look at you!"

"I wanted to catch up with the progress," Jaylin said indifferently.

"But now you’re injured. Won’t you delay more progress in such a circumstance? Would you please take good care of your body?" Bending, Melissa asked, frowning.

"Sorry, I didn’t expect to get hurt," Jaylin said apologetically.

Jaylin had been too upset and wanted to find something to do.

"Relax. I’m fine. It’s only a minor injury." Knowing Melissa was worried about him, Jaylin felt warm.

"Trust me. I can continue filming tomorrow. I can leave the hospital now!" Saying, Jaylin struggled to get up.

"Stop! You should rest in the hospital!" Melissa pressed Jaylin’s shoulder and forced him to lay down.

Murray, who had been waiting outside for a while, was very unhappy. He wanted to know what exactly Melissa wanted to say with Jaylin alone.

Murray then opened the door and walked in.

Then Murray saw Melissa’s hands were on Jaylin’s shoulders.

What the hell! What are they doing? Why do they look so intimate?

Murray’s face became sullen. He strode over to Melissa and pulled her into his arms.

"It’s late. We should leave." Murray said in a cold and domineering voice.

Melissa knew Murray was jealous again.

Therefore, Melissa said helplessly to Jaylin, "Promise me that you will stay and rest in hospital these days. Don’t return to work before you are healed."

"I don’t want the progress retard because of me." Jaylin insisted on his idea.

"But I’m the boss, and I make the rules!" Melissa frowned and said firmly.

Melissa then left with Murray.

Noticing the unhappy air surrounding Murray, Melissa murmured, "How mean..."

"What?" Murray stopped, his deep eyes flickering with anger.

"Nothing." Melissa hurriedly shook her head and pulled Murray’s arm, "Let’s go now."

Murray suddenly pressed Melissa against the wall of the corridor with his hands on her shoulders.

"What are you doing?" Melissa was baffled and asked.

As soon as she finished speaking, Murray’s kisses overwhelmed her.

"Continue to do what we haven’t finished." Murray’s voice was low, and then he sealed Melissa’s lips with his.

Melissa’s heart skipped a beat.

She didn’t want wet kisses in the hospital.

Melissa wanted to push Murray away from her but failed.

And Melissa’s resistance increased Murray’s desire to conquer.

Murray’s tongue pried into Melissa’s lips and teeth and invaded her.

Their lips and teeth touched, and their breaths intertwined.

All Melissa could smell was the light scent of tobacco from the man.

"Stop... I don’t want..." Melissa leaned weakly against the wall and struggled.

Only then did Murray let go of her, he warned, "Stay away from Jaylin next time!"

Melissa didn’t know what to say.

Melissa believed there was only work between Jaylin and herself, and Murray’s jealousy was totally unprovoked.

Just as Melissa was about to speak, a young woman’s voice stopped her, "Meli? May I ask where Jaylin is?"

Melissa pushed Murray away and looked to where the voice was coming from. It was Vivian.

Melissa pointed at the door of Jaylin’s ward. "There."

"Thank you. And is Jaylin alright?" Vivian thanked Melissa and asked about Jaylin with concern.

Melissa smiled, and answered, "It’s nothing serious. His old injury was dehiscenced. Are you here visiting him? It’s late at night."
