Chapter 323: Chapter 323: Building a Manor (2)
Lenglei efficiently changed the tea for everyone and poured new cups of tea.
The group was puzzled and looked at their teacups.
Tinglan picked up her teacup, opened the lid, and was greeted by a puff of hot steam.
"Huh, sister, this tea has the fragrance of Moli," said Tinglan, the first to speak out. Curious, she sniffed it again and took a small sip, discovering a slight sweetness, "It’s fragrant and sweet, delicious."
"Mine is magnolia," Qinmeng, with her sharp sense of smell, knew as soon as she lifted the lid that the rich fragrance came from magnolia flowers.
"Mine is lily," said Beitang Xuan, who smelled and then gently sipped the tea, slowly swallowing it; the delicate and elegant fragrance filled his mouth completely, leaving a lingering aftertaste.
Jueqing watched their expressions and also picked up his cup, sniffing carefully. Despite his efforts, he couldn’t identify the scent of the flower. Dissatisfied, he took another sip and just felt the fragrance lasting.
Zongzheng Zehang smelled the aroma and, after taking a sip, shook his head and set down his cup.
"Cousin, what flower is my tea? Why can’t I identify it?"
"Yeah, I can’t tell what mine is either?" The two shared a smile.
"Young master, your cup is Yimi Flower tea, while Zehang’s is Jade Butterfly Flower tea," Lenglei said with a slight smile.
"Yimi? Jade Butterfly? What kind of flowers are those? I’ve never heard of them," Jueqing asked, turning his head curiously towards Feng Xuxu.
"I’ve also newly acquired these flowers. Among them, the most precious is the Yimi Flower, which blooms once every five years. It has four petals, each of a different color, very attractive." Unfortunately, pregnant women should not drink floral teas often, so she could not enjoy them herself.
"Hehe, princess, it’s not just as simple as having us taste tea, right?" Beitang Xuan put down his teacup and smiled at Feng Xuxu.
"Right, but also wrong. First, I wanted to see if you all would like these flower teas. Secondly, I am planning to start large-scale cultivation of these flowers to make tea."
"That’s not all!" Qinmeng said to Feng Xuxu with a secretive smile.
Feng Xuxu saw Qinmeng wink at her and returned a sweet smile, also very curious, "Sister Qinmeng, what else is there?"
"Sister, these flowers can not only be used to make flower teas but can also be used to create rouge and scented powders."
After Qinmeng’s reminder, Feng Xuxu realized the potential and then shook her head, "But none of us know how to make them?"
"Sister, have you forgotten that I am a doctor? I am clear about every herb. When I have nothing else to do, I also tinker with some fragrance pots at home. When I go back, I will bring some for my sister to see how it is?" Qinmeng was excited to think that her usual hobbies could be put to use.
"Yes, this could work."
"Actually, if we plant flowers on a large scale, we could build an estate amongst them. When the flowers bloom, it could serve as a tourist destination," Jueqing began, but Zehang cut in beside him, "Not just that, if we also offer accommodation, as well as a restaurant and tea house, then we would have another source of income."
"That’s not quite right; there’s one more thing we haven’t mentioned," Beitang Xuan straightened himself and shook his head.
"What else is there?" Jueqing couldn’t help but ask.
"Storytelling, what’s the use of just having a tea house? If we add storytelling to the mix, wouldn’t that be even better?" Beitang Xuan’s eyes sparkled as he talked about storytelling.
"Now that you mention it, might as well move the bar in there too; wouldn’t that be wonderful?" She laughed at their suggestions, nonchalantly speaking.
