Chapter 138: Klaus And Mirela [I]

The silence that slammed down on the Endless Tower after those words was too much..

It wasn’t just quiet... the room suddenly felt like all the air had been sucked out of it.

Even the popping embers of the campfire seemed to freeze in place.

For three ticking seconds, neither Klaus nor Mirela took a breath then, a wave of pure heat flooded Klaus’s face.

His jaw locked completely tight. His glowing silver eyes widened as his brain violently struggled to process what his six-year-old daughter had just said out loud.

Across the mattress, Mirela dropped the fur blanket she was holding.

THWUMP!

It hit the stone floor with a dull sound as her entire face, her neck, and the exposed skin of her collarbone instantly turned dark red.

Her pointed goat ears shot straight up toward the ceiling before snapping down, pinning themselves completely flat against her dark hair in embarrassment.

Her jaw opened and her jaw closed but no sound came out. She looked like a fish trying to breathe dry sand.

"A-Anya?!" Mirela finally choked out with her voice cracking so hard it squeaked.

She gripped the sides of her tunic with trembling hands.

"What... what... are you saying?!"

"I’m talking about basic physical recovery," Anya explained, completely unfazed by their synchronized panic.

She lowered her cupped hand, standing flat on her feet with perfect posture.

She spoke in the steady matter-of-fact tone of a kid reading uncomfortable facts out of a medical textbook.

"There’s no reason to act embarrassed about it," Anya stated smoothly. "Now that Father has taken the Soul King class, his body works differently than a normal person’s. He’s basically a walking high-density mana generator."

She pointed a small finger directly at Klaus’s bare chest.

"Your bodily fluids... especially your seed aren’t just normal biological material anymore," Anya explained deadpan with her purple eyes turning serious. "It’s heavily saturated with pure Soul Mana... When it gets transferred into a partner during sex, it acts like a high-capacity mana potion..."

Klaus brought both of his hands up, clapping them over his face and rubbing his temples hard enough to see stars.

"Anya. Stop. Please stop talking."

"It’s practical information, Father," Anya insisted smoothly, ignoring him completely. "You need to know how your class works. The more divine mana you put into a partner, the more permanent physical enhancements they get."

She tilted her head, ticking the benefits off on her tiny fingers one by one.

"First, it expands the partner’s mana core so they can hold twice as much energy," Anya lectured. "Second, it speeds up cellular healing, which clears out old scars and tough skin. Third, and most importantly, it drastically increases biological fertility and stamina so the Soul King’s bloodline doesn’t die out..."

She gave a small polite nod toward the hyper-ventilating bright-red maid standing frozen by the furs.

"Since Mirela is loyal, physically tough, and compatible with your mana signature, sleeping together tonight is the most logical way to give her a stat boost before we head out into the snow tomorrow morning..." Anya concluded neatly.

She stepped backward toward the dark staircase, tucking her woolen blanket securely under her arm once more.

"So, I’m going to sleep over here by the archway," Anya told them softly, bowing at the waist. "I don’t want to get in the way of the transfer or make you feel like you have to stay quiet... Have a productive night, Father. Mirela."

Before Klaus could drop his hands from his face, before he could take a single step forward to stop her, or before his fried brain could string together two coherent words to defend his shattered dignity, Anya took a step backward into the shadows of the stairwell.

With a shimmer of dark violet magic, the shadows pooled around her blue dress, and she completely floated away into the gloom... vanishing from sight without a trace.

The violet shimmer of Anya’s spatial magic completely dissolved into the dark archway of the spiral staircase, leaving the ground floor of the Endless Tower dead silent.

Outside, the Winterlands wind howled across the snow-drifted monoliths, pushing a freezing, biting draft straight through the wide-open double doors.

But near the alcove where the salvaged caravan mattress lay, the air felt thick and very warm.

The only sound left in the room was the sharp crackle of the dying campfire embers and the rapid, uneven hitch of Mirela’s breathing.

Klaus slowly lowered his hands from his face, rubbing his eyes with his calloused palms before letting out a long exhale through his teeth.

He shook his head, shifting his gaze across the stone floor toward the supply crates where Mirela was standing.

She hadn’t moved a single inch since Anya dropped her lecture on Soul King fertility and walked out.

She was frozen in place with her back pressed rigidly against a stack of wooden crates, her fingers clutching the coarse fabric of her dark tunic so tightly her knuckles looked like polished bone.

Her whole face... from the delicate slope of her collarbone all the way up to the pointed tips of her goat ears was flushed a deep crimson that burned even in the dim light.

She stared fixedly at the toes of her leather boots WITH her chest rising and falling in shallow panicked breaths.

"Well," Klaus muttered dryly WITH his deep voice cutting through the thick silence. "That kid definitely doesn’t believe in beating around the bush."

Mirela let out a high-pitched strangled squeak.

Her shoulders twitched violentlY.

"M-Master... she... she didn’t mean to sound so vulgar! Anya just... she looks at everything like a medical manual!"

"I know she does," Klaus said softly.

He didn’t stay sitting on the edge of the furs.

He stood up with his combat boots making a slow deliberate sound against the obsidian as he walked around the campfire.

He closed the distance between them until he was standing just twelve inches from her, blocking out the rest of the dark hall.

Up close, his long liquid silver hair fell over his shoulders, catching the orange glow of the embers.

As his shadow washed over her, Mirela shrank back slightly against the crates.

She finally forced her head up, her striking eyes fluttering wide to meet his glowing silver gaze.

Her shyness wasn’t just embarrassment from Anya’s words... she was very aware of the physical reality standing right in front of her.

She could feel the vibrations of hisheart beating just inches away from her face.

Before the last trial, when his lungs were rattling and his skin was turning gray from necrotic rot on this exact stone floor, She had made a desperate, unconditional promise to him in the dark.

She had told him that if he just survived... if he just ripped his life back from the jaws of that god, she would belong to him entirely.

Klaus reached out.

His right hand gently cupped the side of her flushed face. His thumb moved slowly across her cheekbone, feeling the heat burning beneath her smooth skin.

Mirela’s breath hitched hard in her throat.

Her eyes fluttered shut for a second as she leaned instinctively into the warmth of his palm with her tense shoulders finally dropping an inch.

"You remember what you told me right before I walked through those double doors?" Klaus asked.

His deep voice dropped into a quiet rumble that vibrated right through her chest.

"I remember," she whispered.

Her voice was barely more than a breath that was trembling slightly, but when she opened her eyes to look at him, the nervous hesitation was completely gone, replaced by unyielding devotion.

"Every single word, Master. I belong to you."

Klaus didn’t say anything else.

There was nothing left to explain or negotiate.

He slid his hand from her cheek around to the back of her neck, his thick fingers twining deep into her silver hair, and gently pulled her forward off the crates.

He leaned down, capturing her lips with his own.

SMACK!

The kiss didn’t start rough.

It was slow and deliberate...

Mirela let out a soft helpless sigh against his mouth with her hands unclenching from the sides of her tunic.

"Mmmm~"

She brought her palms up to press flat against his bare broad chest with her fingers curling slightly against his muscles as she felt the powerful thud of his heart beating beneath his ribs.

’Master is kissing me... He’s finally... giving me the attention.’ Mirela thought, it was quite stingy on her part to take advantage of her Master’s kindness like this when Serra and Zephyra weren’t here. ’But I deserve it... I will handle Master’s lust until we get home.’

He took his time, tilting her head back slightly to deepen the pressure with his tongue sliding past her lips to meet hers.

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!

Mirela’s knees felt instantly weak and a low purr started deep in her throat, her goat ears relaxing backward against her hair as she kissed him back, tasting him completely.

"Hngh~" She groaned out once more. ’Are k-kisses supposed to feel this good?’

Klaus kept his arm wrapped securely around her waist, supporting her weight as he slowly walked her backward away from the wooden crates.

Step by step, they moved across the smooth obsidian floor until the backs of Mirela’s thighs pressed firmly against the edge of the salvaged fur mattress.

He didn’t push her down hard.

He followed her movement as she sank back into the heavy layers of winter furs with his towering frame covering her completely without crushing her.

He braced his weight on his forearms on either side of her shoulders, looking down into her wide eyes.

"You’re shaking..." Klaus murmured softly with his thumb brushing across her lower lip.

"Haah~ Master~ I can’t help it..." Mirela breathed out with her chest rising and falling against his torso. "You feel... you feel so strong, Master... Your mana is everywhere... it feels like it’s wrapping around my skin."

"Just breathe," he told her softly. "We have all night."

He leaned down again with his mouth trailing away from her lips to trace a slow deliberate path across her jawline.

SMACK!

He kissed the sensitive spot right beneath her ear, making her breath catch, before moving down the smooth column of her throat.

When his lips pressed against the hollow of her collarbone, Klaus’s eyes widened.

’Wait... I can leave a hickey here right?’

He gently began sucking the skin there, making Mirela arch her spine off the furs with her legs lashing slowly across the mattress blankets.

"Hnngh~ Master..." she whimpered with her hands moving up from his chest to grip his broad shoulders.

Her fingernails dug slightly into his skin as his mouth trailed lower.

Klaus shifted his weight, sitting back on his heels between her thighs so he could look at her properly.

"What a beauty you are... I’m quite lucky."

With slow precision, Klaus reached down and took hold of the thick hem of her dark woven tunic.

He pulled the fabric upward, peeling it over her torso and sliding it over her head then he tossed the garment aside onto the obsidian floor, leaving her upper body completely bare in the warm orange firelight.

"Mm~"

Mirela shivered slightly as the cool tower air brushed her skin, but the heat radiating from Klaus’s body kept the draft at bay.

She lay back into the furs with her chest heaving as her skin flushed a soft beautiful pink.

Klaus leaned forward again, his hands spreading out across her waist as his thumbs traced the gentle inward slope above her hips.

"I’ll need to suck on them, look at how round they are..."

He lowered his head to her chest with his mouth capturing one of her firm breasts.

"Mmh~ Master, it’s weeeeeird~"

He swirled his tongue around the sensitive peak before sucking it deeply into his mouth, his teeth grazing the hardened nipple with careful pressure.

"Ah! Haah~ Master!" Mirela cried out softly with her fingers instantly flying up to tangle deep into his long heavy silver hair.

She pulled his head closer against her chest with her hips shifting restlessly against the mattress.

He didn’t neglect her other side.

While his mouth lavished attention on her left breast, his right hand slid upward with his fingers gently pinching and rolling her other nipple until she was squirming helplessly beneath him.

"I feel embarrassed Master~! Anya might still be Mmmh~ In Earshot~" Mirela felt weird but it was a good kind of weird.

Her body was responding in ways she wasn’t aware they could and it was all because of the man she loved. From the way he moved, Mirela could tell that this was not his first time with a woman which made her a bit sad.

’B-but I’ll make it his best time... I want Master to be so obsessed with my body that he ruins me completely and makes sure that only him... only him can ever touch me.’ Mirela thought however she couldn’t keep thinking for long as...

"Haangh~"

Klaus pinched her breast, as if he knew she wasn’t being focused.

"You’re so responsive tonight..." Klaus rumbled against her skin with his breath washing warm over her cleavage.

"Because it’s you... hnngh~ because you came back to me," she sobbed out quietly, looking down at his broad back as he mapped every inch of her torso with his mouth and hands.
