Chapter 1626: Chapter 1626: Dizzy Spells
The master even tested the medicine on himself, documenting his feelings of poisoning each day... as well as the bodily changes, and his feelings each day during detoxification.
The majority of records are in the form of a diary.
Each page of this book has a date written on it, with consistent handwriting that is particularly neat, spanning 30 years...
It’s all the master’s research, invaluable beyond measure, the lifelong effort of an affectionate traditional Chinese medicine practitioner.
Mia Lane was very shocked and moved, feeling that now she was in the position of Mrs. Kingston, she must make this book as impactful as possible, benefiting all of humanity.
This must also be the master’s wish.
Outside the Riventhal airport terminal, there’s a row of similar taxis parked and among them is a white sedan.
Janelle Mills is seated in the driver’s seat, feeling quite good as she checks the time, then shifts her gaze outside the window; it’s about time.
Soon, the phone rings, she takes a look, the display shows the words ’Sister Sterling’.
Her finger slides across the answer button, "Hello, Sister Sterling, have you collected your luggage?"
"I didn’t check in any, just a small suitcase, I just got off the plane, I’ll be out soon." Carlotta Sterling moves among the crowd, asking as she walks, "Are you already here?"
"Yes, I am, I’ve been waiting here for a while, come out quickly, I’m watching!"
"See you soon, three more minutes."
"Alright, bye~!"
Janelle Mills hung up the phone. Once Sister Sterling returns, her matter with Old Mills needs to be scheduled, she and Trevor already have a perfect plan waiting for the leading actress to arrive.
Soon, Janelle noticed a familiar figure emerging from the crowd, she quickly opened the car door and got out.
"Sister Sterling!" She happily started walking towards her, even breaking into a slight jog! The mother and daughter had depended on each other since childhood, deeply bonded.
Carlotta Sterling, pulling a pink suitcase fashionably, walked towards her daughter.
Though only about ten meters apart, as she walked, suddenly her vision went black, and she quickly stood still.
"Mom! What’s wrong with you?!"
Janelle Mills realized something was amiss, quickened her pace to run towards her, and supported her as she was about to fall, "Are you okay? Are you feeling unwell somewhere?"
Carlotta Sterling tightly gripped the suitcase handle with her right hand, struggled to ease up, closed her eyes and shook her head, feeling a stabbing headache for a few seconds.
"I’m calling an ambulance!" Janelle Mills was frightened, quickly took out her phone, about to dial, but Carlotta grasped her wrist with opened eyes, "No need, I’m fine."
Janelle Mills anxiously looked at her, "You clearly don’t feel well!"
But she saw a faint smile on her mother’s lips, "Alright, let’s go." Then she dragged her suitcase forward, as if nothing had happened.
"Hey!" Janelle hurried to catch up, "Mom, how long has this been happening?"
"Not long." The woman was bustling, walking quickly, standing straight, recovering instantly.
"But..." Janelle made a turn to stop her, "You need to take issues with your health seriously! What’s the point of earning more money?"
"Aren’t I perfectly fine?" Carlotta eyed her daughter, casually saying, "This is just a little low blood sugar, a minor issue."
With that, she brushed past her daughter, stepped forward to open the car’s trunk.
Janelle helped her lift the suitcase and put it inside, then grasped her wrist earnestly persuading, "Let’s get a health check-up!"
She was especially uneasy because this wasn’t the first time something like this happened to her mother.
