Chapter 1500: Chapter 1500: Trevor’s Perfect Plan
Justin Kingston realized something was off, so he quickly took the fried dough stick outside and handed it to Sister Zhou at the door.
"Mr. Kingston." Sister Zhou stopped him as he was about to rush back in, quietly asking, "Is madam pregnant?"
Justin looked at her, stunned for a few seconds. Pregnant??
This was unexpected for him. Seeing the congratulatory smile on Sister Zhou’s face, a deep emotion flickered in Justin’s eyes.
He turned around and swiftly returned to the design studio!
Mia Lane paused for a moment, unable to even take a sip of her warm milk as she continued sketching on the paper with her design pen, feeling much better.
Justin sat in the chair opposite her, just watching her, his eyes filled with curiosity.
Is there really a little baby in the belly?
"Aren’t you busy?" The woman seemed to sense his gaze and asked without looking up, "I don’t need your suggestions on this; I’m following my brother’s ideas entirely."
"You’ve been having a poor appetite and feeling sleepy lately. Could you be pregnant?" Justin asked nervously and directly, "When you were pregnant with Gigi and Dolly, did you feel the same?"
The pen in the woman’s hand suddenly stopped, and time seemed to freeze.
Justin watched her expectantly, not blinking.
Until Mia slowly raised her eyes, and the couple’s gaze met.
He waited for her answer, but she couldn’t help but burst out laughing!
"Hahaha..." Mia laughed and then suddenly stopped, looking at him seriously, "Are you sure we really want to have another child?"
"A child is fate; it’s not because of bad genes or inability to support them. Why not have one if there is?" Justin’s face softened into a gentle smile, "Heh, I’ve even thought of a name."
He took the pen from her hand, cupping her hand in his, and kissed it, "But I’m worried about your health and can’t bear to let you endure such pain again."
He didn’t even dare think about how, when Mia gave birth to Gigi and Dolly, as their father, he was absent. For the children’s mother, what kind of despair was that?
"What are you thinking?" Mia saw his furrowed brow, looking pained and upset.
Justin asked, "If you are pregnant, would you choose to have this child?"
"Yes," she said without hesitation, "This is a new life. If we didn’t want it, we should have taken measures earlier."
Justin was overjoyed, as happy as a child, and didn’t know what to say for a moment. He was deeply moved.
"Hey!" Mia withdrew her hand from his palm, "We haven’t confirmed it yet. What are you grinning about? Go get the computer, I still have to finish this tough task tonight."
"Alright." Justin picked up the milk cup and handed it to her again, "Drink it while it’s warm, be good."
Seeing his gentle gaze, Mia couldn’t help but smile again. She reached out to take it and drank the milk in one go.
Taking the empty cup, Justin turned and left.
In the company, he’s a decision-making god; at home, he’s a wife-doting fanatic.
At this moment, Trevor was at a newly built square in Riventhal.
The green hill was already covered with thick snow. A few two-meter-high wintersweet trees were in full bloom, their branches laden with snow, presenting a unique and enchanting beauty.
The entire small hill was enclosed with ’caution tape’ made of pink ribbons, temporarily closed to the public.
Some staff were building snowmen. Once done, they hollowed them out and inserted some light bulbs inside.
"Mr. Trevino, is this brightness okay?" Finally, there was a finished product, and someone asked excitedly, "The ambiance is great. If we build them all around, it will be very beautiful."
