Chapter 1490: Chapter 1490: The Touch Hidden in Small Details

Janelle Mills walked beside him, feeling quite apologetic, "Why don’t you go back to the company first?"

"No problem." Trevor told her, "If Simon can’t handle such a small matter, what kind of special assistant is he?"

The girl sensed an innate charisma, she pursed her lips and fell silent.

The two walked into the boutique, which was over a hundred square meters, decorated with a fresh, airy style.

Strings of cute little lanterns hung above, casting a warm yellow light.

The heating was on inside, making it feel cozy despite the snowflakes swirling outside.

Rows of shelves lined with dazzling little items neatly arranged, definitely a paradise for girls.

Trevor asked the sales assistant, "Do you have transparent boxes for holding dolls here? Cylinder-shaped, about one or two meters tall."

"We do." The sales assistant smiled at him and pointed to the corner, "Is it that type?" He’s really handsome! Just like a male lead straight out of TV.

Trevor glanced in that direction, "Janelle, is this what you’re looking for?" His eyes fell on the girl as he turned.

At this moment, Janelle Mills was attracted by some sparkling headbands, holding one in her hand already. She looked up at the sound, following the man’s pointing direction, "Oh, yes!"

Trevor headed over there, "Then let’s take two."

"Alright." The sales assistant walked over and couldn’t help but steal another glance at him; he appeared gentle yet had an authoritative presence.

Just then, another sales assistant approached Janelle Mills, "Miss, these are handcrafted, each star’s diameter is 1 cm, double circles give an ethereal touch, and your hair color fits perfectly. Would you like to try?"

Trevor came over holding two large cylindrical storage boxes.

Janelle Mills adjusted the headband amid her hair while looking in the mirror, "It is quite pretty." Adding a decorative touch.

The sales assistant suddenly noticed the men’s coat she was draped in was Armani’s latest custom design, seen on TV!

And her own ensemble, with the cheapest piece being Gucci, made the sales assistant hesitate to make recommendations, showing an apologetic expression.

"How much is this?" Clearly, Janelle Mills fancied the headband, she smiled and inquired, "It looks great, I like it."

The sales assistant smiled awkwardly, "It’s only twenty; just a small accessory, not fitting for you."

"I’ll take it!" Janelle Mills put it on without taking it off, "I like it, so it suits me."

Trevor glanced around, asking, "Is there anything else you need?" He meant they could buy it together.

But Janelle Mills knew he was in a hurry, so she shook her head, "I just want this!"

"Okay." Trevor scanned the payment and left the store with her.

Behind them, the sales assistants commented with envy, "Do wealthy people also wear imitation accessories? Not pretentious at all."

"This girl has good taste; everything looks good on her."

"Don’t you think they’re quite a match?"

As their pace quickened, the two left those sounds behind them.

In the falling snow, Janelle Mills turned to him as she walked, "Thank you."

"You’re welcome." Trevor put the boxes in the trunk, and Janelle sat in the passenger seat, with Trevor quickly returning to the driver’s side and driving off.

Just then, Simon’s call came through again.

The ringtone sounded once more, Trevor glanced at the caller ID and hung up directly.

This made Janelle Mills feel a bit awkward because she caught a glimpse of the caller ID. Two seconds later, she tried to speak, "What if he’s calling about something urgent?"

"Even if it’s urgent, I can’t go back." Trevor put his phone down, both hands on the steering wheel, speaking seriously, "Have you ever been in love?"
