Chapter 1086: Chapter 1084: Relying on Strength!

After Ji Huan met with Zhu Qianying, he communicated via phone with his father and brother, relaying all the information he obtained from Zhu Qianying.

In the evening, Da Bao replied, telling him that there’s a partnership between the Ji Family and Mingxuan which is expiring next month, and he has instructed the project leader to inform Mingxuan that they won’t renew the contract.

Clearly, this is Ji Rui and Ji Dabao’s blow to Zhu Zhizhou on behalf of Little Treasure.

They’re using facts to show Zhu Zhizhou that intimidation isn’t about bluffing but about power!

That night, Ji Huan received a call from Zhu Qianying saying that after examination by the doctor, Zhu Zhizhou was confirmed to have a fracture in his right arm and a few bruises.

In the end, Zhu Qianying added, "He really got off light, breaking his leg too would’ve been better!"

Ji Huan hadn’t expected Zhu Qianying would think the same way as him, and couldn’t help but laugh.

"What are you laughing at?"

"No, I was just thinking the same as you. I’ve been regretting not using more force back then!" Ji Huan candidly admitted his shady thoughts.

"Hahaha, Ji Huan, you’re really something."

After laughing for a while, Zhu Qianying said, "The way my dad sees it, he probably won’t sue you. He knows it’s pointless and would only irritate you, which would be asking for trouble. Hah, if he knew this earlier, he wouldn’t have done something so foolish today!"

Ji Huan couldn’t help but laugh as well, "I’m rather pleased he acted foolishly because now, I’ve gained the upper hand."

If Zhu Zhizhou hadn’t stirred up such trouble, as a junior Ji Huan would certainly not go out of his way to cause him problems.

But since the other side came knocking with such arrogance, Ji Huan, as a self-defender, gave him a small lesson. It was Zhu Zhizhou who suffered losses, yet the reasoning behind Ji Huan was justified, leaving Zhu Zhizhou reluctantly accepting the mute loss.

With the power punch from his father and brother added, it’s likely Zhu Zhizhou now regrets to the point of wanting to die.

After exchanging intel, Ji Huan took a shower and logged online feeling content.

Zhu Qianyu was very punctual today, at 9:55 sharp, his avatar lit up.

Before Ji Huan could speak, Zhu Qianyu rushed to ask him.

"Did my dad hurt you anywhere?" 𝘧𝓇𝑒𝑒𝑤ℯ𝑏𝓃𝘰𝑣ℯ𝘭.𝘤ℴ𝘮

Ji Huan secretly felt happy and, amidst his happiness, couldn’t help but light a long row of candles for Zhu Zhizhou.

To be a father like this is really a failure!

"Do you think he could hurt me?"

Initially, Ji Huan could have lied a bit to gain sympathy by whining, but seeing the opponent is Zhu Zhizhou, Ji Huan really disdained lying.

"Sorry for putting you through such a psychopath!"

In Zhu Qianyu’s eyes, her dad is unmistakably a big psychopath.

"Xiao Yu, this matter has nothing to do with you. If you think about it deeply, you are also a victim, right? Anyway, your business is my business, so don’t apologize for such trivial matters. I have a weak heart and can’t handle your apologies!"

Ji Huan’s way of comforting was strange, but Zhu Qianyu still obediently said "oh" and nodded to show understanding.

"Uncle Ji said he’ll arrange a bodyguard for me starting tomorrow, Ji Huan, is it really necessary?"

"Of course it is! You’re so good; wouldn’t my parents be worried about the Zhu Family snatching you away!" Ji Huan joked with a smile.

When signing on, Zhu Qianyu was clearly worried, but by the time they logged off, her face was no longer overshadowed with gloom, evidently being coaxed into happiness by Ji Huan.

Ji Huan also felt good; he was contemplating how to seek justice for Xiao Yu, but didn’t expect such an opportunity would come so quickly to vent his anger for her.

The next day passed unusually peacefully, the police department head personally called to inquire about Mr. Ji’s physical condition, and lastly, seemingly intentionally or unintentionally said that Zhu Zhizhou had made it clear he wouldn’t sue Ji Huan.

Ji Huan coldly snorted, "He made it clear? With all the evidence, wouldn’t suing me be asking for death? Why doesn’t he ask me whether I’ll sue him?"

The head hastily comforted, "Mr. Ji, indeed, Boss Zhu was in the wrong regarding this matter; however, considering how much he cares for his daughter..."

Ji Huan interrupted again with a snort, "Head, you really crack me up; isn’t that bit of Zhu Family business known to everyone with a reputation in L City? In his eyes, my girlfriend is truly a daughter?"

This rebuttal left the head speechless, but Ji Huan didn’t have the heart to humor him, "Alright, let’s leave it at that. I have matters to attend to; anyway, trouble the head to let him know that he can sue me anytime, I’m ready to accompany him."

The head murmured a few more words before they both hung up.

Ji Huan thought this was the end.

What he didn’t expect was that another day later, Zhu Zhizhou, with his arm in a cast, unexpectedly visited the base again, accompanied by his eldest son Zhu Junzhao.

This time, however, Zhu Zhizhou’s attitude was worlds apart from the previous visit.

Informed by Gao Yuan that Mr. Zhu was looking for him, Ji Huan guessed it was Zhu Junzhao. Because the night the Ji Family’s project leader notified Mingxuan about not renewing the contract, Zhu Junzhao personally called Da Bao, although Da Bao declined to discuss further on the grounds that he wasn’t responsible for those small projects.

Therefore, when Ji Huan saw from afar the wounded person sitting outside the office in a wheelchair, he was quite surprised.

However, now he was in the upper hand and any surprise wouldn’t affect his performance.

"Mr. Ji!" Upon hearing footsteps, Zhu Junzhao respectfully greeted Ji Huan.

Perhaps he was taught a lesson by Young Master Yan, or maybe it was directly Zhu Zhizhou’s lesson that humbled him; ultimately, Zhu Junzhao standing before him was not at all the arrogant and domineering person Ji Huan imagined.

"I wonder what business the two Mr. Zhus have in visiting today?"

Ji Huan acted as if he didn’t see Zhu Zhizhou in a wheelchair, walked directly to the front of the office, opened the door, and gestured them inside.

"Mr. Ji, what happened the other day was me being confused; I was trying to fight for some rights for Xiao Yu, but lost my cool."

Once inside, Zhu Zhizhou surprisingly bowed his head first.

Ji Huan didn’t buy it, rudely snorting, "Mr. Zhu certainly was confused; Xiao Yu is my girlfriend, anything she wants she can just tell me, and I will naturally give it to her, why would you need to fight for her?"

Zhu Zhizhou and Zhu Junzhao were both taken aback.

Apparently, neither father nor son expected that with the elder Zhu Zhizhou lowering his head first and even coming over with injuries to apologize, Mr. Ji was still quite aggressive, showing no signs of concession.
