As she dragged Wen Yang out of the lecture hall, Ning Chu kept a wary eye on the twin sisters behind them.
The outgoing and passionate younger sister, Guoguo, stared at her with a fierce determination, as if Ning Chu were the one trying to steal her man. The introverted, ice-cold elder sister, Duoduo, observed her with a serious expression.
This plotline was proving tougher to deal with than she’d expected...
Both sisters had beauty comparable to Lily’s, and the bond between them made them even more irresistible—a combination that was hard for any man to ignore.
Fortunately, they weren’t succubi.
At least in her stories, the twin sisters couldn’t hold a candle to the male protagonist; unlike her, they wouldn’t be able to match Wen Yang blow for blow.
Weaklings!
Leading Wen Yang, with Yan Xinya following along, Ning Chu brought them to the bathroom near the hallway, where Lily was waiting with her textbook.
“Ning Chu, those two bad women have definitely been eyeing Wen Yang for a while! They even knew his name right away!”
“Their eyes never left him! Especially that vice-president; it was like she wanted to devour him right there!”
Yan Xinya added fuel to the fire with her criticism of the sisters, while Wen Yang awkwardly glanced at the ceiling, feeling both guilty and embarrassed.
Ning Chu sighed, her voice tinged with resignation. “Got it.”
These sisters were harder to shake off than she’d anticipated. She thought her timely appearance would let her dispel this plot point as easily as before, but hiding in the bathroom wasn’t going to work this time.
The elder sister Duoduo’s personality seemed especially stubborn; she probably wouldn’t give up on Wen Yang so easily.
Ning Chu didn’t entirely trust Wen Yang’s... lower self either. If these bad women resorted to extreme measures... well, in the book, there was a scene where Guoguo tied up the male protagonist and, along with her sister, flirted with him without him having to lift a finger.
If something like that happened in real life, no matter how clear-headed Wen Yang was, his body might not listen to reason.
“Ning Chu...”
Wen Yang saw her lapse into thought and tried to defend himself.
“Come on, we’ve only got five minutes until class starts.”
The surrounding students were whispering and glancing between the twin sisters and the beautiful, charming girl who was now storming off with Wen Yang. Ning Chu overheard someone comparing her to the sisters, with some crude remarks tossed in, which annoyed her even more—especially those who thought she couldn’t compare to the sisters!
“Sure, that girl’s pretty, but sisters are just... something else, right?”
Not wanting to stay in the spotlight any longer, she grabbed Wen Yang’s wrist and marched forward, fuming.
“Where’s our next class?”
“F502, I think?” Wen Yang checked the schedule.
“That’s pretty far...”
He glanced at the irritation and # Nоvеlight # frustration on her face. “I was honestly just caught off guard. Next time, should I just curse at them?”
“Curse them with what?”
“Something like... you’re a damn pest...”
“You’d probably end up with the sisters and their mom in pursuit~”
“???”
Seeing his look of confusion, Ning Chu burst out laughing, then composed herself. “From now on, don’t interact with those two at all! Not even a bit!”
“Got it.” Wen Yang hesitated. “But we’ll still run into them now and then, and if they try to corner me, there’s not much I can do.”
“Ugh, this is such a headache...”
Ning Chu sighed, hating this type of female supporting character who, without any real reason, became infatuated with Wen Yang and refused to let go.
No matter how many times he rejected them, they’d cling on and come back repeatedly, and there was no good way to deal with it.
The four of them arrived at the classroom for their afternoon class, taking seats in the front three rows as usual, and Ning Chu fell back into thought.
Once, she had been focused on making sure she wouldn’t end up as the kind of girl fawned over by everyone, actively trying to break the plot. Now, she simply didn’t want to share her male lead with anyone else.
After all, she had once been a man, and her possessiveness toward the person she liked was intense.
“You’re here early?” Zhang Shaoqing arrived with Wang Jie right before class, immediately settling next to Wen Yang and leaning in with a mischievous grin.
“Hey, Wen Yang, did you get to see those twin sisters at the meeting?”
Ning Chu, who was lying on the desk, perked up her ears, her back to Wen Yang and Zhang Shaoqing but listening carefully.
“So, how were they? Pretty smooth?”
“They were okay, I guess?”
Zhang Shaoqing hooked an arm around Wen Yang’s neck, grinning lewdly. “What’s that supposed to mean? Big is big, and fair is fair! No ‘just okay’ about it!”
“...”
“Are they big? Legs nice and long? I heard neither of them has dated yet—wonder which guy will get that lucky~”
Wen Yang scratched his head awkwardly, stealing a glance at the back of Ning Chu’s head before muttering, “They’re... pretty big.”
“Ning Chu! Wen Yang’s trying to cheat on you! He said the twins are bigger than you!”
“!!!”
Wen Yang jumped, quickly denying it. “No, I didn’t say that.”
“Zhang Shaoqing! Go sit somewhere else from now on!” Ning Chu sat up, glaring at Zhang Shaoqing in disdain. “You’re going to corrupt Wen Yang sooner or later.”
Seeing Wen Yang’s gaze shift to her, she deliberately puffed out her chest, her curves impossible to miss even under her coat.
Only the older sister could compare to her in that department, and even then, Ning Chu’s shape was more refined!
“What does that have to do with me? You’re with him every day—maybe you’re the one corrupting him?”
“Hmph! Not even worth arguing with you!”
Ning Chu slumped back down onto her desk, though the earlier bickering had cleared her mind a bit.
Suddenly, a bold idea struck her.
If, before the plot happened, she took the place of the female supporting character and enacted the storyline with Wen Yang herself...
Wouldn’t that eliminate the supporting characters’ scenes altogether?
It would still disrupt the storyline but without exposing Wen Yang to the risk of being seduced by those bad women.
For example, if she tied up Wen Yang in advance and teased him like the sisters did in the story, maybe the real sisters wouldn’t even think of doing it!
The more Ning Chu thought about it, the more feasible her idea seemed. Wen Yang certainly wouldn’t reject her—this LSP (little shameless pervert) was probably hoping to recreate some thrilling plotlines with her.
But if she went through with this, she’d be no different from a royal romance heroine...
Then again, her period was only on its second day... so this idea would have to wait.
As she brooded, she absently reached up and felt a small bump on her head.
Her body stiffened, her almond-shaped eyes widening in disbelief.
“Wen Yang! Wen Yang!”
She turned her head to him, flustered. “Check my head! I think something’s growing!”
Wen Yang’s face lit up with joy, and both Yan Xinya and Lily leaned in eagerly, as did Zhang Shaoqing and Wang Jie.
“Where?”
“There’s a hard spot, right here...”
“Oh, that’s just dandruff.”
“...”
Ning Chu slumped back onto the desk in silence.
I washed my hair last night! I’ve never had dandruff before!
“It’s just the dry weather, lack of sleep last night, and your hormones going out of balance before the horns grow—dandruff’s totally normal.”
