Alarms rang nonstop in Ning Chu’s mind.

She was mentally scanning through her novel’s database, her brain working overtime, but she still couldn’t recall ever writing a supporting character named “An Han.”

In her novel, she tended to give her female supporting characters simple, repetitive names like “Lily” or “Wen Wen,” so remembering by name was usually efficient.

But now, her usual method wasn’t helping at all.

Could she not be a supporting character? Just a random passerby?

An ordinary person wouldn’t be this beautiful. People on Yan Xin Ya’s level were already rare.

Confused, Ning Chu wondered if this girl could just be a passerby in this world—a world similar to her own, with some individuals corresponding to real-life counterparts. However, here, average attractiveness was notably higher, and life experiences might not always align.

If this girl was indeed just a passerby, she’d probably still be stunning in the original world.

And with a figure like that? She must be a succubus!

In terms of looks, she might be on the same level as Ning Chu or Lily, both succubi, but her unique charm was what truly set her apart.

Just a few more glances, and Ning Chu found herself subconsciously letting down her guard around An Han. She felt her gaze soften a little but quickly snapped back to reality, biting her lip and feeling a hint of unease.

She glanced at her mother and the shop owner and noticed they, too, were treating An Han warmly, even with a touch of familiarity.

Charm that affects everyone, regardless of gender? Ridiculous!

No, she had to find out more about this girl! To see if she was indeed a supporting character.

Even if she wasn’t, Ning Chu definitely couldn’t let Wen Yang meet her!

An Han, while playfully chatting with Hei Dou, occasionally looked over at Ning Chu, her expression one of deep curiosity.

No matter how she looked at it, she couldn’t understand why this girl seemed to dislike her upon first meeting.

After a moment of pondering, she gave up trying to figure it out.

“Excuse me, could you grab this set for me?” An Han asked the shop owner.

“Of course!” The shop owner responded enthusiastically. “If you’re buying, how about a 20% discount?”

“20% off? I’ll take another look then.”

Meanwhile, Ning Chu was already on her phone, frantically searching keywords from her novel.

Sure enough, a search for “An Han” turned up nothing, but it was still possible that she was one of the nameless background characters.

Thinking for a moment, she then searched for “succubus.”

A girl this pretty, with a figure like that and a charm that captivated both men and women—if she wasn’t a succubus, who would be?

Still, no results...

“Let’s go. Enough of that phone,” her mother called out.

“Okay.” Startled by her mother’s call, Ning Chu quickly tucked her phone into her pocket. As they left, she couldn’t resist looking back at the girl selecting lingerie.

Just then, An Han looked up, and their gazes met.

Caught in the act, Ning Chu quickly looked away, hastening her pace to catch up with her mother.

“Mom, that big sister was even prettier than my big sister~” Hei Dou chirped.

“Pretty much the same, right? Your sister’s charm just isn’t fully developed yet.” Her mother grinned, glancing at Ning Chu. “After all, she’s only been a girl for a short time, right?”

Ning Chu ignored the remark, opting to change the topic. “Mom, do you think she might be a succubus?”

“Doesn’t look like it. Look, her ears are completely normal.”

Instinctively, Ning Chu touched the tips of her own ears. As a succubus, her ears were slightly pointed, though not so obvious—it mostly made them easier for Wen Yang to nibble on.

So, no succubus enhancements, not a supporting character, yet still beautiful and well-endowed!

This girl was practically a goddess~

She glanced back once more, seeing An Han leave the store with a shopping bag, walking toward the end of the street.

She probably lived nearby.

“You’re really that interested in her?” Her mother teased, “Afraid she’ll steal Wen Yang away? You’re guarding him like a treasure.”

“It’s not that... it’s just rare to see someone that pretty.”

“True, she’s about on par with my daughter; that’s a rare find.”

After buying the lingerie, they made a detour to the grocery market.

For now, Ning Chu pushed the girl to the back of her mind. Since she wasn’t a supporting character and was already married with kids, at least there was no immediate risk of her trying to steal Wen Yang.

As for whether Wen Yang would fall for her if he saw her?

On that, Ning Chu was fairly confident!

He was, after all, her male lead. After all this training, even if Wen Yang had the occasional typical male thought, he’d never act on it.

Or else, she’d break his third leg!

Thinking about it, Ning Chu realized Wen Yang had it tough—once a harem protagonist surrounded by beauties every night, he’d been reformed into a loyal 1v1 romance lead by her.

“Mom, can I head back first?”

As they passed the neighborhood, Ning Chu stopped, already halfway to the gate as she asked.

“You’re too lazy to buy groceries?”

“You have Hei Dou to help! I’m going ahead!”

“Take this bag!”

Grabbing the bag with her new lingerie, Ning Chu hurried home.

That girl was too extraordinary. Even if she was probably just a passerby, Ning Chu still felt the need to go back and review her novel to avoid any surprises.

Once home, Ning Chu dashed straight to her room.

“Can you keep it down? I’m trying to catch up on sleep.”

Her brother, Ning Yuan, grumbled, flipping over in bed. “I feel like I’m getting less sleep at home during the holiday than when I’m at work.”

“I’ll be out in a minute.”

“Close the door on your way out.”

Moving more quietly, Ning Chu glanced back at her brother lying in bed.

As much as she felt a man shouldn’t spend too much time in a girl’s room, he was her brother, so it didn’t bother her.

After all, they’d slept in the same bed since they were kids.

Settling onto the living room sofa, she opened her laptop, her slender fingers gliding over the trackpad as she scrolled through her novel, meticulously reviewing it again.

Confirmed—she really was just a passerby.

And based on her mother’s evaluation, the girl wasn’t even a succubus.

Absurd! How could someone look that stunning? With a figure like that, yet stay so well-proportioned and graceful?

Could she be the protagonist of another novel?

Ning Chu glanced down at her own chest. In her new lingerie, she could proudly call herself a C-cup around her friends, but compared to An Han, she was still behind.

Of course, An Han had had kids, so...

Her phone rang suddenly. She glanced at the caller ID and answered casually. “Hello? Wen Yang?”

“I won’t be coming to your place for lunch; Shaoqing’s dragging me out job-hunting with him.”

“What’s wrong with him? Did he chicken out?”

On the other end, she heard Zhang Shaoqing’s indignant voice. “Chicken out? Not a chance!”

Ning Chu chuckled, “Then why are you dragging Wen Yang along?”

“I’m worried he’ll lose his, uh, energy if he spends every day with you.”

“......”

Oh, please, don’t worry about that! Wen Yang’s body was in peak condition, practically brimming with energy thanks to her care, to the point that even she, a succubus, could barely keep up.

Looking back, she almost regretted feeding him so much nutritious food—it seemed to be taking a toll on her instead.

Better worry about her running out of energy at this rate!
