Wen Yang left after dinner without lingering too long.

Tomorrow he has an early shift, starting at seven, which means he needs to wake up around six, so he has to get to bed early tonight.

Ning Chu, feeling aimless, sat in the second bedroom in front of her computer, resting her chin on her hand, staring blankly at the screen.

She didn’t feel like writing.

In the morning, at Wen Yang’s apartment, she couldn’t focus on writing at all with the mess around the bed, and after returning home, the commotion continued until now. Even now, with everything quiet, she still didn’t feel like working on her manuscript.

She sighed in frustration and sent out the only chapter she had saved up.

She didn’t want to play games either. Wen Yang would be busy cleaning his bed when he got home, so he wouldn’t have time to play games with her.

Ning Chu turned her head to look at Hei Dou, who was sitting at the desk not far away.

Normally, this cat girl would be bouncing around everywhere, but today she was unusually well-behaved, sitting still at the desk doing her homework since after dinner.

Seeing how focused she was, Ning Chu resigned herself to going broke.

Luckily, Hei Dou didn’t have expensive tastes when it came to food. A twenty-yuan takeout meal was enough to keep her happy. But at the rate of two pages of homework per meal, Hei Dou might just bankrupt her.

The door to the second bedroom opened, and their mother walked in carrying a plate of sliced apples, which she placed on the desk.

The apples had toothpicks in them, and she smiled as she patted Hei Dou’s soft hair, watching her diligently work on her homework. “What a good girl~ You’re doing your homework all on your own.”

“Mhm.”

“Here, have some apples.”

“I don’t like apples...”

Cats are pure carnivores, unlike Yan Xinya, who enjoys all kinds of food.

“Ning Chu, you should have some too.”

“Yeah, I know~” Ning Chu turned to look at her mother. “Mom, aren’t you going out to play mahjong tonight?”

“Why? Are you planning to sneak off to Wen Yang’s place again?”

“No, of course not...”

She wasn’t really some harem novel protagonist, constantly thinking about men!

Ning Chu nervously avoided her mother’s teasing gaze. “I’m just worried that if you leave, I won’t be able to keep Hei Dou in check.”

Her mother rolled her eyes, stifling a yawn with her hand. “I’m heading to bed. Hei Dou, you need to brush your teeth and go to bed by ten, no staying up late!”

“I know!”

“How much have you done?”

“Six pages! Sis! I want a midnight snack tonight!”

“...”

How long has it been? Three meals are already gone.

Ning Chu winced in pain, feeling as if she couldn’t breathe... but seeing how eager Hei Dou was, and since she had worked diligently and carefully, without any glaring mistakes, Ning Chu had no choice but to obediently order a twenty-yuan meal.

If Hei Dou gets into Tsinghua or Peking University, Ning Chu will definitely take credit for that.

Their mother, looking drowsy, retreated to the master bedroom. Hei Dou, seeing that her sister had ordered takeout, lost all motivation to continue her homework and ran off to wait in the living room. Ning Chu glanced at her bank card and slumped over the desk with a sigh.

It was already nine at night, but Ning Chu wasn’t sleepy at all.

She clicked her mouse, aimlessly browsing the web, but after a while, she suddenly turned her head to glance at the master bedroom door across the way.

It was tightly shut.

Her heart started racing as memories of last night’s intense experience flooded her mind, and she felt an urge to sneak out.

After all, if her mother was asleep, she wouldn’t know.

As long as she got back by six in the morning and snuck back into bed...

Hei Dou might sell her out for a good meal, so she’d have to wait until Hei Dou fell asleep before making her move.

No, she had to resist!

Ning Chu slapped her cheeks with both hands, trying to wake herself up.

She wasn’t some little flirt! She had been a man just a few months ago! It was one thing to be taken and dominated, but how could she get addicted to it?!

“Sis! The takeout’s here!”

Hei Dou came running into the room, holding a bag of food. “I’ll eat and then go to bed.”

“I’ll pass.”

Tonight’s snack was chicken cutlet and milk tea, and even before the bag was opened, the aroma of cumin from the chicken filled the room, making Hei Dou even more excited. She tore open the tightly knotted bag with vigor, put on disposable gloves, and took a big bite of the cutlet before sipping her milk tea, her cat ears drooping with satisfaction.

Ning Chu’s nose twitched slightly, her eyes fixed longingly on Hei Dou.

“Sis, do you want some?”

“No, I don’t like chicken cutlets.”

She turned her gaze back to the computer screen, but her legs under the desk bounced anxiously.

She tried watching some anime, but her mind wasn’t on the plot at all. Her eyes kept wandering back to Hei Dou.

“Here.” Hei Dou tore off a piece of the cutlet and held it up to Ning Chu’s lips. “If you want some, just say it~ I’m not that stingy with food!”

“...”

Without a word, Ning Chu took a bite of the chicken cutlet.

By the time the anime episode finished, Hei Dou had finally finished her snack, cleaned up the trash, and happily skipped off to the bathroom.

A moment later, she returned from brushing her teeth and dove under the covers, only her head poking out. “Sis! Sleep with me!”

“I’m not tired. You go ahead.”

“Aww~ Turn off the lights then.”

Ning Chu drew the curtains and switched off the lights, plunging the room into darkness. She even dimmed the brightness on her computer screen and put on headphones to avoid disturbing Hei Dou’s sleep.

She watched the screen, feeling slightly nervous, her eyes flickering to Hei Dou, waiting for her to fall asleep. Finally, through her headphones, she heard Hei Dou’s soft snoring.

Almost immediately, Ning Chu jumped to her feet, but then quickly lightened her steps, tiptoeing to the wardrobe to find some clothes to change into.

Then, like a thief, she quietly opened the door and peeked out, glancing toward the master bedroom.

Yes, her mother must be asleep by now.

And considering her mother had stayed up all night playing mahjong, she’d definitely be out like a light tonight.

Ning Chu looked back at Hei Dou one more time, then slowly shut the door, making almost no noise.

Now outside the second bedroom, she felt a bit calmer, her excitement rising as she hurried to the front door to put on her shoes and leave.

“Click!”

The door was locked from the inside. When she tugged at it, it made a light sound, freezing her in place, her scalp tingling, too scared to move.

Luckily, there was no sound from the master bedroom.

Ning Chu let out a sigh of relief and carefully unlocked the door, then quickly slipped outside.

...

At the apartment, Wen Yang had finished washing the sheets and was ready for bed, already under the covers.

As a man, after experiencing it for the first time, he naturally missed it, his mind filled with images of Ning Chu writhing beneath him, trying to keep up. But now that they were apart, no matter how much he fantasized, there was nothing he could do.

He was a little worried, too. Last night, in the heat of the moment, he realized that with his strength, Ning Chu’s petite body might have struggled, possibly even tearing or bleeding. But a succubus is a succubus, gifted in these matters.

He lay there, unable to fall asleep.

In his mind, he saw the silver lines on Ning Chu’s stomach and the way her abdomen had bulged...

The sound of the door opening broke through his thoughts.

The image in his mind shattered instantly, and he instinctively looked up, already smelling the familiar scent of a succubus.

Sure enough, the door opened, and Ning Chu’s flushed face peeked into the room. “You’re not asleep yet?”

“What are you doing here?”

“I... couldn’t sleep, so I came to write...”

She spoke as she kicked off her shoes, closed the door, and climbed onto the bed, her backside high in the air as she scooted over to Wen Yang.

“Hey! I’m just here to write~ Don’t lick my ear! It tickles~”
