Chapter 13: Oh Ryujin
As soon as Cha Jihwan even let out a peep, Ryujin ran towards him with a crazy look.
It scared the shit out of secretary Cha and he immediately made a run for it from the second door near him.
Cha Jihwan joined the Millenium Corporation three years ago while hiding his secondary gender as an alpha.
Apparently, his family was helped by the Jang family when he was younger, so he really wanted to work for them.
But due to certain reasons, the secretary department refused to hire alphas.
So he simply registered as a beta.
Cha Jihwan died his blonde hair black as light colored hair were characteristics of alphas and covered his green eyes with non prescription glasses.
That was also the first time he saw, Oh Ryujin. On the very first day of his job.
Ryujin was Song-rik’s childhood friend and one of the few alphas who were allowed near him.
Ryujin had come there to say goodbye as he was leaving the country indefinitely.
Cha Jihwan amd Oh Ryujin had no interaction but Jihwan’s gut screamed at him that something was wrong about that person.
Cut to present, Jihwan was running away because of that same uncomfortable gut feeling that yelled at him to get away from Oh Ryujin.
But alas he was slow and got stuck in the emergency stairs. And there he saw it.
Oh Ryujin had no reflection in the door glass.
First he thought that he was a ghost.
Maybe it was delirium.
Maybe...
And then Oh Ryujin found him and dragged him into his car.
And there he saw it for clear, the thirst for blood in Oh Ryujin’s eyes as he liked Jihwan’s blood off his neck.
And now, Cha Jihwan was trapped by this vampire bastard.
"I need to call the Director," Jihwan said nervously. "I can’t be absent without notice."
"I already informed them that you’re sick and might need to rest for some days."
Ryujin smiled standing in front of Jihwan.
Jihwan trembled.
They were both alphas but Ryujin was just fucking huge.
Oh Ryujin looked down at Jihwan as he touched his wound gently.
"Does it hurt?"
"Huh?"
"I asked if it hurts."
Of course it does, you little...!
"Ah. No. It doesn’t."
Jihwan covered his neck with his hand as he turned his face away.
Fear often overpowers other emotions.
Oh Ryujin looked at Jihwan and quietly backed away.
"Rest here. I’ll ask for some food to be prepared."
Then he picked up a book from the shelf and sat down reading on the room couch.
Jihwan just stood there sort of creeped out and stunned.
In confusion, he too grabbed a book from the shelve and went back into the bed to red.
He covered himself with blankets as he wasn’t brave enough to express his lack of lower clothing to Ryujin.
He cowered in bed while holding his book upside down as his entire focus was on Oh Ryujin.
Another person had his book upside down.
And that was Oh Ryujin.
Fuck! I can’t let him leave! Otherwise he’d go yap to Song-rik about me being a vampire!
A tiny streak of sweat flowed down Ryujin’s face as he pretended to read.
Now one might ask what this character shift in Oh Ryujin might be.
Starting from the very beginning, Ryujin was a mixed child between a pure blood vampire and a human.
His mother (a vampire) seduced the human she had a crush on(his father) and forced him to marry her. Though it was a forceful marriage, his father eventually came to love his mother and he was born.
As a full pure blood vampire even when one parent was a human.
They only characteristics his father gave him were his looks and his traits as an alpha.
Oh Ryujin was a childhood friend of Song-rik’s because both families were business partners.
Ryujin even had a crush on Song-rik amd was planning to marry him (even if he had to by force - his mother’s teachings).
That is until three years ago, when Oh Ryujin was suddenly possessed by a human from another world.
Now this human, was a woman who transmigrated into a vampire alpha man’s body.
Her name was Yoon Sarang.
And she was the author of the world’s book, The Forgotten Flower.
Yes, the person possessing Oh Ryujin was no other that our beloved Noona.
Noona had successfully sold her cope up novel and made a million bucks, she was ready to quit her job and settle down in a far away place.
But she got sucked into her own novel and as the most cringe character she wrote.
You know, Noona wasn’t really proud of her novel as an author.
After her novel suddenly hit a lot of views, she decided to reread it to see if it was really that good.
She regretted that decision.
The Forgotten Flower, was the most cliche and cringe novel she ever read. So much so that she almost left a hate comment but remembered it was her own novel.
Now she understood why her brother, Yoon @#+*£, kept telling her stop writing that trash.
But she didn’t know she’d get transmigrated into the novel.
And as the most ridiculous character ever.
The first time she woke up as Ryujin, she was utterly confused.
Why am I still hungry even after eating?
Why am I a man?
Why is this guy’s dick so big?
All of these were valid questions by a transmigrated innocent person.
Except, Noona wasn’t innocent. She had intentionally made the novel have a tragic ending.
So if it was discovered she... he was a vampire, he would suffer the same ending as from the novel.
That was exactly why Ryujin ran away to abroad to escape any such crisis.
But his mother dragged him back to the country to inherit the family business as he was the only son.
And he just had to go and get caught by no other than Jang Song-rik’s secretary.
It would have been simple if he could just kill the guy and be done with it. But...
Cha Jihwan was Noona’s ideal type!
Otherwise there was no reason to write a side character with such detail!
Ryujin just couldn’t bring himself to kill him.
So now, there were these two idiots were there, reading upside down books, while trembling in fear.
Fuck! He’s so handsome! Why did I make him wear glasses?! That was a crime against humanity!
Ryujin looked sneakily at Jihwan. A little drool came down his mouth. He silently slurped it back.
So sexy...
Cha Jihwan was now seeing a vampire, drooling while looking at him.
Yeah. He’s going to each me, isn’t he? I’m so dead. He’s probably just keeping me alive as food.
And the misunderstanding deepened...
