Chapter 1204: Extra Chapter: Fighting

Editor: Henyee Translations

Ruan Chu took out a stack of photo albums from somewhere. They were all similar photos of her hands.

Feng Jue’s eyelids twitched slightly as he smiled gently, “Cousin Ruan Chu…”

Ruan Chu passed the photo to him and smiled brightly. “Find Yangyang’s hand from these 100 photos.”

Feng Jue, “…”

Gu Yang was also stunned.

...

Even if she was meant to do that, finding it might still be impossible!

“I’ll count down! Find it in three minutes!” Ruan Meng leaned forward and started the countdown.

Gu Yang felt a pang of sympathy for Feng Jue. “Aren’t the requirements a bit too strict…?”

Gu Jin crossed her arms and said leisurely, “Strict? I’ve already found it.”

Gu Yang wanted to say, “Sister, you’re a Godly Doctor; you’re different.” But when she met Gu Jin’s gaze, she swallowed her words and gave Feng Jue a helpless look. “Ah Jue, you can do this.”

Feng Jue took a deep breath and smiled. “It’s alright, sister. I can find it, even if I have to flip through everything.”

It didn’t make sense that Gu Jin could find it but he couldn’t.

Ruan Meng reminded him of the time. “There are still two minutes and forty seconds left.”

Feng Jue placed the photos on the table, spreading them out. He quickly scanned through them one by one and soon picked out a photo with the number ‘9’.

Gu Yang stretched out her hands, comparing them to the photo, then glanced at her own hand, subtly hinting for Feng Jue to look at it. After a moment, her restless hand was gently held by Gu Jin.

Meeting Gu Jin’s gaze, Gu Yang blinked and smiled obediently.

Everyone turned to Ruan Chu for confirmation. “Is it this one?”

Ruan Chu smiled without saying a word. “Feng Jue, are you sure this is the one?”

Feng Jue picked out three more photos from the pile. Then, he looked at Ruan Chu and grinned. “There are a total of four photos of the left and right hands, front and back. Cousin, please check them.”

Ruan Chu raised her eyebrows and applauded. “All correct.”

She had initially planned to go easy on Feng Jue as long as he could find one, but she didn’t expect him to find all of them.

Gu Yang sat on the bed, smiling and clapping for Feng Jue. “Ah Jue is the best!”

Everyone present joined in the applause.

Feng Jue beamed back at Gu Yang and then glanced at Gu Jin with a hint of challenge. “My understanding of my sister is naturally not inferior to anyone else’s.”

Gu Jin laughed coldly and stood up.

This dog was really courting trouble.

Feng Jue knew that Gu Jin would try to make things difficult for him no matter what, and as usual, he was asking for a beating.

Gu Jin removed her coat and tossed it to Xiao Yize. Coldly, she challenged Feng Jue, “Shall we fight?”

Feng Jue smiled confidently. “Sure.”

The two faced off, the tension between them palpable as if they were kings in a duel.

Gu Yang’s eyes widened in alarm. She grasped the edges of Gu Jin’s and Feng Jue’s clothes, her voice gentle and soothing. “Sister, Ah Jue, it’s a joyous day. Fighting isn’t appropriate, right? Everyone agrees, right?”

She glanced around, only to realize, to her shock, that everyone else was excited and eager, nearly shouting, “Fight, fight!”

Gu Yang deflated. “…”

Shen Qin patted her shoulder lightly. “It’s okay, Yangyang. They know their limits.”

After all, the two had sparred countless times since childhood.

“That’s right, they’re experienced,” Shen Ran added with a grin.

Cao Cuo set down a large orange cat and stepped aside, saying, “Come, I’ll make room for the two of you.”

Xiao Yize watched Feng Jue with an amused smile, his gaze almost warning him, “If you hurt your sister-in-law, you’re done for.”

Meanwhile, Gu Pei and Qin Shuling found a small stool and settled in to watch the spectacle.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone, Gu Jin and Feng Jue exchanged sharp looks, sparks seemingly flying between them. Then, in unison, they pulled out their phones and opened the Legend of Gods game. “One-on-one.”

Gu Yang was left stunned, unsure whether to laugh or cry.
