Elena grew up in a world called Warset and she was very old and someone respectable from a noble clan. She was raised and treated like a princess, it was only in this lower world that she has to work for someone else and get paid such a meager salary for a living.
Not that she was complaining, although she didn’t get to eat the wonderful snacks from the shop like the usual customers, she ate normal meals with her boss.
Her boss wasn’t stingy and whenever she eats something from the shop, she would give her a portion.
After living in this world for some months, she had gotten used to a lot of things and one of the things was to get used to how things in the shop appeared miraculously every day.
In this world where there are spatial rifts, she just let that issue go, after all, if a higher power knows how to open these rifts, it was easy to transport things to different places.
But to see a car that was recently made in her world here parked in front of a different house she didn’t even know how it got there, she looked at Alayna who carried an excited expression as she rushed towards the changed house.
’Just who are you?’ Elena’s curiosity was piqued to the highest level.

Of course, Alayna who was busy admiring the silver Bulgari had no idea that Elena was keeping a closer look at her. This car was different from the Bugatti cars that she knew, but that was normal, after all the cars were all made from different worlds.
She didn’t have a test drive first but admired her new house. After using the house upgrade card, her tiny home had been upgraded to a bungalow. The bungalow’s exterior was magnificent.
There was a big veranda outside with beautiful potted flowers, there was a tent with garden chairs beneath it, and a great place to relax while outside.
She couldn’t wait to check the inside, so she stepped on the tiled veranda and unlocked the door with her fingerprint. When the door opened, she was wowed by the magnificence of the place.
The living room welcomed her and the place looked very vibrant, there were white sofas in the room, and the curtains were lime matching beautifully with the white and lime cushions on the sofas.
The carpet was white with some lime-colored leaves at the edges, making the piece a bit more unique than the usual carpets that she was used to. The huge smart flat screen T.V was on the other side of the living room as well as some speakers.
And lastly, the table was glass and it looked very fragile from a glance but she doubted that. While Alayna was admiring this beautiful room, Elena was trying her best to calm down and accept everything that she was currently seeing.
From the living room, there was the dining room which was in the same space as the kitchen. There was a dining table for six people with wooden chairs that were of course top notch as for which type of wood they used, she has absolutely no idea as many things were not her forte and she wasn’t planning on making her life hard for no reason.
The kitchen was beautiful and it was all white, if the place didn’t operate like the shop where things get automatically cleaned overnight if one didn’t clean, she would be fighting to get another color that wouldn’t be difficult to clean and maintain.
There was a fitted kitchen unit and it was filled with plates and pots, everything that was needed to make a meal. There was a single-door fridge in white and it wasn’t stocked as she hoped but it didn’t matter for, she was going to buy her own groceries and fill the fridge with goodies.
The kitchen also came with a four-plate stove like before in her tiny home, the counter was also there, and all the other things that should be in the kitchen.
There was a passage that leads to the bedrooms which were the most important rooms to her in the room. The main bedroom which was her room was just next to the sitting room and the veranda and it was quite big.
A double-sized bed with purple bed covers was beautifully placed in the middle of the room, the headboard keeping it in positing. The vanity table was on the other side in a corner with some few cosmetics and the rest will be bought by her.
There was another door and when she opened it, she found a small closet and it was enough for her. There weren’t too many clothes as all the clothes in the closet were the ones she originally had before.
There was the hanging space, the shelves, and the shoe rack. It was enough and even more than what she required for wardrobe space.
The other part of the master bedroom was the bathroom, there was the toilet part which was small and convenient, and the bathroom has a full-length tub which is enough for her to play around and a shower area just in case she doesn’t want to use the tub.

After checking the master bedroom, she checked the next room and it was the spare bedroom, it wasn’t big like the main bedroom but it was okay. There was a double bed with cream bed covers, there was no closet but a wardrobe was there and the bathroom with a joint toilet.
It was perfect, reminded her of the normal rooms back on Earth. After checking this room, the remaining one was the study. Just a desk, a chair, and a bookshelf. The study wasn’t fancy but it was good for her, as someone who had been thinking much, having her own personal space was also great.
Alayna looked at Elena who was also checking the place and she smiled at her.
"As you can see, the house went under a great upgrade, that room will be yours until there is something for the staff. If there is anything that you need just tell me," Alayna didn’t see any need to explain herself further.
She believes that Elena was a grown-up girl and that she can understand without her explanation. Elena tacitly understood and didn’t ask much, knowing more can be deadly sometimes.
"Thank you for taking care of me, I really appreciate it," Elena politely thanked Alayna.
"It’s my duty as your boss."
"Sure, I will go and cook supper," Elena said as she looked at Alayna.
"Sure, we will buy what is missing on another day," Alayna said as she looked back at Elena.
Elena left Alayna doing her thing. Without much to do, Alayna went back outside to check up on her new car. The car didn’t have any keys which were epic for her, she placed her hand on the car and the car opened.
The technology was a bit too much for her but she was quick to adopt it. Alayna spent twenty minutes trying to understand the car’s operation. She didn’t fully understand everything but at least she concluded that the car could be operated the same way as the cars she used to drive.
She decided to do a test drive and take the route in the forest and until she is confident enough to operate the car without any problems, she won’t drive it out of the forest.
Elena was in the middle of cutting some vegetables when she heard the familiar sound of the car is turned on. She left the kitchen and the living room altogether and stood at the veranda.
She watched with awe as the car got out of the yard in reverse and her eyebrows rose up.
"How is it possible that she knows how to drive that car? She is driving it like a professional. Just how many secrets are being hidden here?"
Alayna was currently enjoying how efficient the car was, it wasn’t making any unnecessary noise and it was very smooth.
"Ahhhh, it’s been too long since I felt like this. I am just loving this!" Alayna exclaimed as she drove the car at a steady pace as she didn’t want to get into an accident yet.
"I can do this all day long!" she smiled happily as she passed the convenience store.
Alayna drove many rounds and it lasted over twenty minutes; she wasn’t satisfied but she had driven enough. She drove back to the house and parked the car under the shade. The bungalow came with a parking space with a shade, it was better than not having none.
When she returned, Elena was done cooking, so the two of them enjoyed their scrumptious meal in the brand-new house.
After the meal, Alayna left Elena to watch some T.V while she locked herself in her room. She sat cross-legged on the bed and took out the breakthrough pill from her inventory space.
It’s been a while now since she was stuck at the martial apprentice stage and it was time for her to reach that level, she never thought she will reach in her life.
"Let’s do this!" she encouraged herself as she popped the pill in her mouth.
