Chapter 586: Chapter 585: Finally taking action against the Sun Base 2
Since he insisted that he doesn’t have any problem with it, Treyton finally ordered their departure.
As for him, he just sat down on the sofa, and even though the drivers of all the RVs started speeding up immediately, he still started eating his sandwich.
Aside from Treyton, Yang, Myla, and Nichole, who was acting as their driver, all the others who were in their RV were the older and younger kids.
They really included all the younger ones in their RV and they even included Nathan’s brother Nolan, who was considered to be the oldest among all of them.
The kids weren’t allowed to participate in Treyton’s action plan this time. Even Astrid and Ian, who were ability users and had more ways to attack and protect themselves, weren’t included at all, even with just dealing with ordinary people in the Sun Base which they could certainly deal with.
Nathan and the other adult members of the team who weren’t included in the main action group with Treyton were still in charge of cleaning up other people in the Sun base, but the kids weren’t included in those actions at all.
Most of the older kids even protested at first and said that they could certainly deal with some of those weaker people in the Sun Base.
But even after they protested, Treyton still didn’t allow them to participate at all.
Of course, afterwards Treyton still said that he would certainly allow them to participate in the future as long as the scale is smaller.
Well, the Sun Base indeed has a lot of people which isn’t suitable for training the kids at all.
Even Nathan and the other adults in the team were only in charge of dealing with the weaker ones and weren’t part of the core group that was being led by Treyton, so the kids certainly couldn’t participate at all.
Treyton would probably be willing to include them if they weren’t attacking a base as big as the Sun base.
The Sun base also has a lot of people already, so even though most of them were the weaker ones and they don’t really have a lot of people that were very strong, the chances of having accidents were still higher because of the higher population.
So, just looking at all the kids in their RV, Luciel also knew that they placed all of them in their RV because he had already said that he wouldn’t participate and would just stay behind to watch.
Of course, even though the kids weren’t participating, they were still dressed well and were all equipped with the weapons that they could use.
And unlike usual, all of them were currently silent and most of them were just holding their seatbelts with obvious tension.
He hadn’t heard them speak much since entering the RV and now they’re not talking anymore and were obviously very tense.
It seemed that they were still tense because they still haven’t experienced being the ones taking the initiative to attack others, even though they would only be staying in the RV.
So, Luciel said, "Relax, just watch the adults deal with the bad guys in the Sun base. Even though you guys couldn’t be noisy, there’s also no need to be too tense."
Even after what he said, they only nodded and still remained silent, but at least they tried to relax a bit.
Seeing that their state is at least a bit better, Luciel didn’t bother saying anything more and just continued eating his sandwich while listening to what Treyton and the others were talking about.
Zam and the others who were already in the Sun base had already started taking action as soon as they started going down the mountain that they were at.
They had already discussed before that Zam and the others would incapacitate those who were acting as lookouts as well as the guards around the walls of the Sun base.
So, Treyton and the others were already listening to the reports of Zam and the others while also discussing their next course of action.
Luciel also listened to the reports and knew that the group led by Zam was steadily doing what they were supposed to do.
To avoid being discovered by others and creating a commotion, they were mainly using the knockout drugs that Jacob had made.
Jacob had already made a lot of poisons that could easily paralyze other people immediately, so they were mostly using them to deal with all the guards and other people who were acting as lookouts.
With the immediate effect of the poisons that Jacob made, Luciel only heard of reports of their steady success in incapacitating people.
When they were finally near the Sun Base, Zam’s group reported that they had successfully incapacitated all the people that were in charge of guarding the base walls and the lookouts.
Since they were speeding down, they only spent less than 10 minutes to travel and they were already very near the Sun base.
They were fast, but Zam’s group still managed to properly do their task because, according to them, there were really few guards and lookouts at the base walls.
They might have even been successful even earlier if they hadn’t had to move around to deal with all those people around the Sun Base.
They also reported that they were already opening the base gates for them, so when they arrived at the Sun base, they managed to enter it easily.
As soon as they arrived, Treyton said, "We’re going out. You guys can stay here first and follow us later."
The kids immediately nodded in agreement and Luciel also said, "Yeah, I’ll stay here first. I will watch later."
He hadn’t finished eating yet, so he had to watch later.
"Okay, then we’ll get going," Treyton said and immediately went out of their RV together with Myla and Nichole.
Yang, who wasn’t part of the main action team, was the only one who remained and replaced Nichole in the driver’s seat to drive them around later.
