Chapter 59: [Cruise] 2
Blonde, glorious hair with soft light-blue eyes.
It was definitely the daughter of this continent’s duke.
"Nice to meet you as well." She spoke with utmost beauty and confidence. "What is it that happened here?"
Cassien smiled slightly, then suddenly turned panicked. A mocking kind of panic.
"They were threatening to hit me simply because their women took a liking to me... I feel hurt," Cassien declared.
"Huh...?!"
"Stop it." She spoke to her own classmates. "We must represent Class 1A properly, given our family status. We mustn’t disgrace where we came from. Stop this foolishness at once."
Each of them lowered their heads and began walking away.
One of the women being dragged away by her self-proclaimed boyfriend looked back at Cassien one last time, blushing.
Cassien stared directly into her gaze and winked.
It’s safe to say she nearly fainted.
"Thank you for that, Princess."
"No need for formalities." She looked down. "My name’s Izel Estrella, though you might already be aware."
Cassien nodded.
"Sure, I’m aware, but hearing it from you gives me the honor of calling you by that name."
She didn’t smile once.
"Which class are you in?"
"Class 1C."
"Interesting," she whispered. "I’m looking forward to facing off against you."
"Likewise."
And then Izel departed, too busy to remain with a mere third-degree noble like Cassien.
Olivia walked up behind Cassien.
"Nicely done," she whispered. "I was really scared for a second."
The two of them looked down at Siv Kento in disappointment.
"I’m telling you both! I didn’t do anything! That bitch lied—"
Olivia put a finger over his mouth.
"Shhh."
She looked around.
"Just shut up and move on. There’s no telling who may be watching. For all we know, that entire thing could’ve been a setup, expecting Cassien to intervene. Though the chances of that are highly unlikely."
Cassien held out an arm.
"Stand up, Siv, and go lock yourself inside your room. I don’t trust you being out any longer."
Siv stood up.
"I was going to head back after enjoying the pool with the women a little later."
Olivia sighed.
"Fine. Just don’t get yourself into trouble."
"Got it."
He saluted before walking away.
Olivia continued moving forward while Cassien followed closely behind, just as he should.
They walked past the bar only to spot Audrey Valeria, another one of their classmates.
She sat there waiting for a drink while three girls laughed in her face for some odd reason.
Olivia stepped in, crossing her arms.
"What’s going on here?"
"Leave me alone," Audrey murmured in a dark and straightforward tone.
"I’m here to help. I’m not leaving my own classmate alone," Olivia said. "You three girls need to leave. Stop trying to harass her."
They looked at Olivia.
"You bitch, we don’t take orders from nobodies. Get the fuck away from us."
Olivia ignored them.
"You dare treat us like mere nobodies?!"
Cassien stepped between them.
"Girls, please take your leave. No need to disgrace yourselves by starting a fight. That’s not how beautiful women like you should act."
As the three girls prepared to retaliate, the main girl looked at Cassien, and her heart skipped a beat.
Afterward, she glanced back at Audrey.
"You got lucky this time, slutty-ass bitch."
Cassien grinned.
’Yes... yes. I remember her backstory now. The thing about Audrey was that she was almost great at everything. But her family was so low-class that she couldn’t even afford the trip to the academy. With limited time and resources, there was only one thing Audrey thought of doing... selling her body to high-ranking nobles.’
"Why were they targeting you?" Olivia asked.
"Mind your own business," Audrey replied before standing up and leaving.
"What’s wrong with people?" Olivia questioned.
"Audrey seems to be having a rough time right now. We need to improve her morale before future events begin," Cassien stated. "Though most of that depends on her."
Walking into the restaurant, they spotted Ren and Alex sitting together while eating from the endless trays of food.
"This is so good! Class Rep, you have to come try some!"
"You too, Cassien!"
The two of them remained serious.
"Maybe later."
Olivia looked at Cassien.
"It’s good that they’re fine. Now we check on the rest and head back."
"Got it."
...
After an hour, they checked up on each of their classmates and finally finished what they had set out to do.
Cassien began walking back to his room when the same three girls who had been bullying Audrey earlier approached him.
"U-um, hey... Can I get your number?" the main girl asked, blushing slightly.
Cassien turned around, smiling.
"But of course. Simply put your digits into my phone."
She did exactly that while shaking slightly.
Then he leaned closer and whispered one more thing into her ear.
"I’ll call you tonight. You better answer."
Her hormones immediately spiked.
"Y-yes."
...
9:00 PM.
Cassien was simply relaxing in his room when the interface update appeared once again.

’Nice. I’ll use them in just a second.’
Though by the time he received them, Cassien had already begun scrolling through the numbers in his cellphone.
"There we go, found her."
He tapped the number, looked at the night sky outside, and somehow activated his most seductive tone.
"Heyyyy!" she answered.
He tried coming up with the smoothest and most seductive words he could think of.
"Come over," he whispered. "Let’s have a good time."
"Coming right now."
Cassien smiled and ended the call.
...
Only a minute later, she arrived and knocked on the door.
Cassien didn’t get up to answer it.
So she knocked again.
He glanced at the clock.
’When’s she—?’
"Cassien, she came out."
Cassien grinned.
"Perfect."
The girl turned to her right.
"Why the fuck is he not answering the door?"
A door slammed open on the women’s side.
She slowly turned around.
Only one person had stepped out.
That woman grinned.
"Forget about killing the blonde guy. Let’s torture Audrey instead."
Another woman stepped out beside her.
"So it’s Audrey... all alone in a hotel hallway. We can’t get caught in here."
Cassien sighed.
’The girl’s cheeky, tried acting the ’easy-going-type’ to get me killed. It was obvious from the beginning, her eyes, I could tell she wanted to kill me immediately...’ Another thought crossed his mind, ’But who ordered it?’
Cassien sighed.
’Class 1D students are quite the scary bunch when they have absolutely nothing to lose. But then again, everything will slowly reveal itself on the island.’
