Chapter 655: Secrets in the Sealed Spaces

After the sealed space collapsed, the five found themselves on a grassland.

The grassland stretched as far as the eye could see, but using their divine sense, Jiang Yue and the others could see past the edges.

"Why does this place..." Jiang Yue started with an uncertain expression.

"Azhen, I think we are in a secret realm." He finally said, and Yu Nianzhen nodded before speaking.

"It seems to be an immortal level secret realm." The swordsman added.

In the distance, the five could see level seven spiritual fruit trees, immortal level demonic beasts, spiritual herbs, spiritual ores, and other treasures.

"Could it be there is a secret realm within each sealed space?" Yang Xu speculated, but none of the others could answer.

After all, this was the first time that they cleared a sealed space, allowing it to collapse.

"It would be nice if that were the case." Jiang Yue said while looking around.

"I want to claim this secret realm for our Zhenyue Archipelago." Yu Nianzhen said, and the others couldn’t help but look at him in surprise.

However, Yu Nianzhen was not fazed and calmly explained his reasoning.

"This is the first sealed space we have cleared. I don’t think it’s unfair to claim it for our people." He said.

"You have a point." Jiang Yue nodded and quickly continued.

"There are one thousand sealed spaces in our Cangxing world. Nine hundred are below the immortal level, sixty-four are at the immortal tier, twenty-five are at the immortal king level, and the rest are unknown."

"If each sealed space contains a secret realm, I think it’s reasonable to reserve some for our own use." He concluded.

"Your arguments are reasonable, but we should reserve judgment until after clearing a few more sealed spaces." Yang Xu suggested, and the others immediately agreed.

In the end, Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue recognised the owner before leaving the secret realm.

After sealed space 1S, the five spent five hundred years clearing the other immortal rank sealed spaces.

During that time, they discovered that each sealed space hid an equivalent rank secret realm.

As a result, of the sixty-four secret realms they discovered, they reserved thirty-two for their people and left the rest for other cultivators to discover.

On this day, the five exited a secret realm and appeared at the top of a mountain.

"We have finally cleared all the immortal level sealed spaces." Jiang Yue exclaimed.

"It took longer than I thought." Yang Xu said.

Of the sixty-four sealed spaces that they cleared, more than half contained thousands of space beasts, while the rest had all manner of things, including demonic plants and demon cultivators, among others.

Fortunately, the five were not vegetarians and were able to deal with whichever threat they encountered.

"Shall we find an immortal king rank sealed space?" Ao Tian asked, but Jiang Yue shook his head.

"We have been away from the Zhenyue Archipelago for more than five hundred years. We should have a look before we begin tackling the immortal king rank sealed spaces." He suggested, and Yu Nianzhen nodded.

"Most of our people should have already gone to the Reincarnation World." He said.

As Yu Nianzhen guessed, when they returned to the Zhenyue Archipelago, they learned that their friends and families had all gone to the Reincarnation world.

Fortunately, the Zhenyue Archipelago residents didn’t lack descendants, so the place wasn’t as deserted as they expected.

After confirming that everything was okay, the five left again and began clearing the immortal king rank sealed spaces.

As before, each space had a secret realm, but this time, the realms were of the immortal king rank.

In this way, the five spent two thousand years, clearing space after space.

In the two thousandth year, the five entered the last immortal king rank sealed space, expecting a hard fight.

However, the place was unexpectedly calm.

Unlike previous spaces, sealed space SS25 was a flower field.

It had flowers everywhere, and most importantly, the flowers were neither poisonous, medicinal, nor malicious.

Seeing this, the five exchanged a glance but didn’t relax their guard.

Instead, they felt uneasy and became more vigilant.

"There is someone." Jiang Yue suddenly exclaimed, and the others trained their attention to where he was pointing.

A breath later, they all saw a female cultivator.

The female cultivator was beautiful and looked to be in her early twenties.

She wore a white robe, white shoes, and had long white hair that rivalled her attire.

After seeing the five, she smiled but didn’t move.

Instead, she signalled them to walk to her, and for some reason, the five didn’t refuse.

One hour later, they arrived in front of the female cultivator and stopped two metres from her.

"You are finally here." She said, looking at Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue. 𝙛𝓻𝒆𝒆𝒘𝙚𝓫𝙣𝙤𝒗𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Were you expecting us?" Jiang Yue reflexively asked, and the female cultivator chuckled but didn’t answer his question.

"My name is Xiao Xing." She introduced herself, and without waiting for their self-introduction, she removed something from her sleeve and placed it on her left palm.

At a glance, the something was a Rubik-sized cube made of flawless, clear crystal.

"I will entrust this to you from now on." She said, once again looking at Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue.

"What is it?" Yu Nianzhen asked, but the female cultivator shook her head and refused to answer.

"You will know when the time is right." She said.

After saying that, the female cultivator threw the cube into the sky, and while the five were tracing its movement, she smiled, turned and disappeared.

"Where is the person?" Yang Xu asked in a shocked voice.

"When did she leave?" Ao Tian was also surprised.

"I didn’t sense any spatial or qi fluctuations. How did she disappear?" Yu Nianzhen wondered.

Unfortunately, everyone was in the same state of confusion and couldn’t answer any of the questions.

Realising this, the five turned to the cube and looked at it with curious eyes.

"Ao Tian, do you know what it is?" Jiang Yue asked, but the dragon shook his head before reaching for the cube.

However, when his hand neared it, the cube moved, as if avoiding Ao Tian’s touch.

"Is it sentient?" Jiang Yue couldn’t help but wonder.
