Chapter 604: Alchemists
After twenty-four days of travel, Yu Nianzhen and Jiang Yue arrived at Alchemy City.
At a glance, the city was smaller and less populous than Cangxing City.
However, it was more opulent and the residents looked richer.
"As expected of alchemists." Jiang Yue muttered.
"Hungry?" Yu Nianzhen suddenly asked, pointing at a restaurant.
"Always." Jiang Yue chuckled and led the way.
Less than an incense stick later, the two sat at a window table on the second-floor hall.
After ordering, they fell back on their old tricks and began to eavesdrop.
"The eighth young master probably can’t be saved if a soul-cleansing grass is not found soon." A female cultivator said.
"I heard the sixth mistress went to a dangerous place to look for the soul-cleansing grass. Unfortunately, she didn’t find the grass but encountered an ambush. She barely escaped with her life."
"What a tragedy." Someone sighed.
"Now that the sixth mistress is injured, the eighth young master has lost his support. He probably can’t survive this disaster."

"First, we want a list of the best alchemists in the Cangxing world including their current location. Second, we want information on the eighth young master Fang including who is and isn’t loyal to him."
When he heard this, the information broker narrowed his eyes.

Instead, he fell into thought and didn’t speak until ten breaths later.
"The information will be ready in one day." He finally said.
"Good."
After paying, Jiang Yue and Yu Nianzhen left the border guard arena.
[Shall we sneak in to see the eighth young master?] Jiang Yue asked.
[It won’t be too late to see him after we get the soul-cleansing pills.]
"In that case, let’s go shopping." Jiang Yue said, and Yu Nianzhen nodded.
Since they were in Alchemy City, it was necessary to stock up on pills.
