"Do you want to look at the scrolls or the boxes first?" Yu Nianzhen asked.
Hearing that, Jiang Yue fell into thought but soon smiled.
"The scrolls and then the boxes."
"Good." Yu Nianzhen said and reached for the first scroll.
"Comprehensive manual of basic puppet mechanics." He read and continued after scanning the manual.
"It’s very detailed."
"I want to see." Jiang Yue said and also reached for the manual.
Soon after, he put it aside with a satisfied smile on his face.
"If we had a deeper and more intuitive understanding of puppet mechanics, we wouldn’t have spent so much time in the ruins." He said.
"It doesn’t matter. The time was not wasted." Yu Nianzhen said and rubbed his lover’s hair.
"Let’s look at the scrolls."
Like the first scroll, the other scrolls were all related to puppetry.
In addition to the comprehensive manual of basic puppet mechanics, there was an encyclopaedia of puppet-making materials, while the rest detailed puppet-making techniques.
"With this inheritance, our Cangxing world can train eighth-level puppet masters." Jiang Yue said in an excited voice.
"Mmmm." Yu Nianzhen agreed and quickly continued.
"Let’s make copies of all the scrolls. We will keep the originals and contribute some of the copies to the Cangxing Mountain."
"We can contribute manuals for first to sixth-level puppets. As for the seventh and eighth-level puppets, let’s take the inheritance back to the Cangxing world. After that, we will decide what to do."
"Okay." Jiang Yue agreed but soon frowned.
"What’s wrong?" Yu Nianzhen questioned.
"Azhen, should this kind of inheritance be in the Reincarnation world?" Jiang Yue wondered.
After all, the cultivators in the Reincarnation world were basically in the nascent soul realm or the reincarnation realm.
It was a little difficult to imagine that a nascent soul realm cultivator brought in an inheritance suitable for an immortal king realm cultivator.

Unfortunately, he also hit a wall when he realised there was no clear way to open the box.
"Does it need a drop of blood?" Jiang Yue wondered.
"Since you received the inheritance, you can try opening it with a drop of blood."
However, a drop of blood was not the answer.
When Jiang Yue dripped a drop of blood on the box, the blood just stayed on the surface and wasn’t absorbed into the box.
"Try wrapping your soul power around it. Maybe it needs soul power."
"Good."
Soon after, Jiang Yue gasped in amazement.
"You are right, it requires soul power." Jiang Yue said and injected his soul power into a mysterious groove on the box.
After exhausting half his soul power, the box finally opened and the contents were revealed.
"Azhen, we are rich." He shouted happily.
Hearing that, Yu Nianzhen chuckled with a doting smile in his eyes.
"Weren’t we already rich?" He questioned.
"Then..., we are richer." Jiang Yue didn’t care about his lover’s messing around and urgently looked at the box contents.
"Look at all these materials." He exclaimed happily.
"The materials are enough for one hundred puppets." Yu Nianzhen was also impressed.
"Some of these materials are extinct in the Cangxing world." Jiang Yue observed.
"We can keep some of the materials for ourselves."
"That’s a given." Jiang Yue said and the two began to sort the materials.
Generally, they kept enough materials for ten puppets each.
Most importantly, they also kept all the rare and extinct materials.
As for the rest, everything was placed in a storage ring, ready to be transported to the Cangxing mountain.
"There is another compartment." Yu Nianzhen pointed out.
Less than ten breaths later, Jiang Yue opened the compartment and the two excitedly looked at the contents.
"Soul training manual, soul-nourishing dew, soul crystals, reincarnation stones, and more puppet-making manuals." Jiang Yue said and his eyes brightened with every item he mentioned.

"These soul resources are enough payment for our hard work." Jiang Yue said with a smile on his face.
"What should we do with the reincarnation stones?" He continued.
"The reincarnation stones we got are top-grade stones which are hard to come by. Although we no longer need them for our cultivation, our masters and friends need them. Let’s reserve the stones for them."

After that, the two sorted the resources and made copies of the soul training manual and puppet-making technique manuals.
"Our Cangxing mountain puppet masters are very lucky." Jiang Yue sighed.
"True but other Cangxing mountain cultivators also got something. The soul training manual is useful for all kinds of cultivators." Yu Nianzhen said.

"The next compartment seems to be the last." Jiang Yue said as he opened the next compartment.
However, unlike the previous compartments, the specific contents were not immediately revealed.

"Open it and see." He said and Jiang Yue nodded.
However, before Jiang Yue could open the box, he suddenly paused and his eyes widened.
"What’s wrong?" Yu Nianzhen asked with a concerned look in his eyes.
"There is a sub-flame in the box."
"The sub-flame of the heaven and earth fire we encountered in the first room of the ruins?"
"Seems so." Jiang Yue said and released his primordial yin-yang flame.
"My flame spirit can feel it. He wants to eat it."
"Your flame has benefited a lot from the ruins." Yu Nianzhen observed.
"Are you jealous?" Jiang Yue smirked.
"Naughty." Yu Nianzhen said and rubbed Jiang Yue’s hair.
"What’s your plan? Is it okay for your flame to devour the sub-flame?"
"It’s okay but I want to send it to a training room. The process of devouring another flame is not peaceful and I don’t want the fight to take place in my body." Jiang Yue said.
"Okay."
Soon after, the primordial yin-yang flame and a small box disappeared into one of the training rooms in the ancient palace.
"It will take some time for the primordial yin-yang flame to refine the sub-flame." Jiang Yue said while looking at the training room’s door.
"We have a lot of time."
"True." Jiang Yue agreed and the two returned to the sitting room.
"We are done with the first box. Let’s open the second one." Jiang Yue excitedly said and reached for the box.
Unfortunately, his excitement soon dampened.
"My soul power is not enough."
"Did you use too much soul power to open the first box?"
Hearing that, Jiang Yue shook his head.
"Even if I was at peak state, my soul power would still not be enough." He said.
At that, Yu Nianzhen frowned.
However, there was nothing they could do for the time being.
In the end, Jiang Yue put the second box aside and tried the third.
