"Does anyone know where we are?" Someone shouted.
Hearing this, everyone looked around but they couldn’t figure out where they were.

"My Taoist companion and I were recruited to join an investigation team. However, I don’t see any of the other group members." Jiang Yue continued and pretended to look around.
"Fellow Daoist, did you join the Zhao family’s investigation group?" Someone asked and Jiang Yue pretended to be surprised.
"Did you also?" He asked.
"I did." The person said excitedly.
"I also did." Another.
Soon after, everyone revealed that they had either joined the group or encountered the group right before they appeared in the windowless room.
"Did the Zhao family do something to us?" A female cultivator asked angrily.
"I am an alchemist and my mouth tastes a little bit like the detoxification pill." A timid-looking male cultivator informed.
"My mouth also tastes funny."
"They must have poisoned us before they brought us here."
"Wait till I get out of here. I will kill everyone in the Zhao family." A man said and everyone nodded in agreement.
"Does anyone know where we are?"
"If I am not mistaken, we are in a trapping formation." A female formation master revealed.
"Trapping formation? Can this fellow Daoist break it?"
However, the female cultivator couldn’t.
Her formation-breaking jades were in her storage ring.
Unfortunately, when she woke up, she realised her storage ring and storage bracelet were gone.
"Since they have detoxified us, it means they want us alive. We should prepare to fight when we are released out of here." Someone suggested and everyone immediately became alert.

"We don’t have external weapons but some of us should have natal weapons." The person said and looked around.
Seeing this, several people began to look around and one by one, a few people revealed they had natal weapons.

"The fellow Daoists don’t know?" The man asked.

"The mountain master and deputy mountain master came back a few years ago." The person informed.
"Is that true?" Jiang Yue asked and then turned to Yu Nianzhen.
"ZhenZhen, did you hear about it?"

"That’s true. Since I didn’t hear about it, you couldn’t have heard about it." Jiang Yue nodded and then turned to the man.
"This fellow Daoist, my Taoist companion and I have been training in the Boundary mountain range and haven’t heard anything. Can you tell us about the mountain master and deputy mountain master?"
"When did they come back? What did they say about the Nine Hearts trial? What is their cultivation? Please tell us quickly." Jiang Yue asked excitedly and Yu Nianzhen almost rolled his eyes.
