Soon after, the two groups met.
"Fellow Daoists of the Sword sect." Chen Qing called.
"Fellow Daoist Chen." The fifth elder acknowledged and nodded in greeting.
"You are the first people we have met in more than one hundred years. Have you encountered others?" Chen Qing asked.
"We haven’t." The fifth elder said while shaking his head in denial.
"Is that so..." Chen Qing muttered, feeling a little disappointed.
If the three swordsmen hadn’t met others, they probably didn’t know what was going on in the secret realm.
"Fellow Daoists, the three of us have been to the myriad forms’ mountain. If you are willing, we can exchange information." One of the other elders spoke.
"We have been to the crystal worms’ desert." Chen Qing said and immediately expressed their intent to exchange information.
Less than half an hour later, the two groups finished their information exchange and went their separate ways.
"The myriad forms’ mountain sounds interesting." Xuan Ke stated and the others nodded in agreement.
All along, Xuan Ke was more interested in the Lightning Valley and didn’t care too much about the myriad forms mountain.
However, after listening to the three old men, he couldn’t help but be interested.
"The myriad forms’ mountain sounds like an advanced variation of our Sea Cloud sect’s Ten-Storey Pagoda." Chen Qing observed.
"It presents differently for everyone and the aura is so thick it’s almost liquid." Jiang Yue repeated the words they heard from the three elders.
"We should go there before we go to the lightning valley." Yu Nianzhen suggested and everyone agreed.
If the information was true, the thick heaven and earth qi in the myriad forms’ mountain was enough to help them break through a small realm.
After breaking through, they could go to the Lightning Valley to stabilise their realm and cultivate their body.
By doing things in this order, they would not only improve their strength but also optimise their usage of time.
"The sixth elder said that the training in the myriad forms’ mountain is customised according to origin." Bing Lan said.
"The training should be beneficial for everyone." Yang Xu nodded and said.
Since his cultivation was almost at the peak and couldn’t be improved by too much, the aura in the myriad forms’ mountain wasn’t as important to him.
However, training his origin was extremely beneficial.
According to the three elders, training in the mountain gave them a better understanding of their origin tool which is beneficial for qi utilisation.
"Since we have decided, let’s go to the myriad forms’ mountain." Jiang Yue said excitedly.
With that, the group hurried to the myriad forms’ mountain but didn’t arrive until half a month later.
"We still didn’t meet anyone along the way." Xuan Ke said and sighed.
"There are four people behind us." Li Futian said and pointed to a place.
"Really?" Xuan Ke asked excitedly and quickly turned around.
As Li Futian said, there was a group of four coming toward them.
"They are coming from the direction of the crystal worms’ desert." Jiang Yue observed.
"Mmmmm." Yu Nianzhen nodded.
"Do you think they discovered the soul stone mine?" Jiang Yue couldn’t help but wonder.
"If they have a map fragment of the crystal worms’ desert, it’s not impossible for them to discover the mine."
"What’s the use of discovering it? Unless they are immortals, there is no way to mine the soul stones." Xuan Ke said with a sneer on his lips.
"Maybe they have their ways." Jiang Yue argued.
However, he wasn’t convinced by his own arguments.
After all, he had personally experienced the coercion of the beasts hiding in the depths.

In the Nine Treasures secret realm, Yu Nianzhen and the rest saw Bing Mei. However, they were never sure if she was the original Bing Mei or Shui Qingqing.
After coming out of the secret realm, there were rumours that Shui Qingqing’s soul lamp went out but the Ice Palace sect did not confirm anything.
This time, when everyone heard Bing Mei’s call, they couldn’t help but become wary.
After all, Bing Mei was in the origin forging realm when Shui Qingqing tried to seize her body.
If the attempt ended in failure, it meant Bing Mei had a big secret in her body.
"I am no longer a cultivator of the Ice Palace sect and we are both in the nascent soul realm. You don’t have to respect me as your master." Bing Lan said with a solemn look on her face.
Hearing this, Bing Mei smiled but didn’t refute.
"Looking at your direction, did the fellow Daoists also come from the crystal worms’ desert?" She asked.
"Fellow Daoist Bing is right." Chen Qing answered.
"How are your losses?"
"Losses?" Xuan Ke asked and everyone gave the woman a questioning look.
"Didn’t you suffer any losses?" One of the female cultivators in Bing Mei’s group asked.
"We didn’t." Xuan Ke said.
"Did the fellow Daoists venture into the depths?" Li Futian asked and Jiang Yue almost rolled his eyes.
They previously talked about this matter and worried some cultivators would overestimate themselves.
Unexpectedly, they encountered such a group so soon.
"We tried." Bing Mei said and sighed in regret.
When they approached the depths, they felt the threat and thought about turning back.
However, cultivating is going against the sky!
Although they were frightened, they still gritted their teeth and decided to enter the depths.
Unfortunately, they mistook stupidity for courage.
As soon as they stepped into the depths, more than a dozen people were invisibly killed.

After that, the two groups walked together and soon arrived at the base of the mountain.
"My divine sense can’t see the top of the mountain." Xuan Ke said and then turned to Yang Xu.
Unfortunately, Yang Xu could also not see the top so he shook his head in answer to the unasked question.
"Does it really have a top?" Jiang Yue asked with a frown on his face.
From what he knew of the myriad forms mountain, Jiang Yue felt it was not an actual mountain but an extremely high-level formation.
After all, an actual mountain couldn’t present differently to every person who entered.
"It should be an illusion." Chen Qing opined.
Although she couldn’t see a trace of the illusion, she felt it was the only plausible explanation for the existence of the myriad forms mountain.
"The myriad forms mountain and the other places are traces of the prosperity of our Cangxing world." Li Futian suddenly said with a sad look in his eyes.
"What’s there to be sad about? Our Cangxing world will rise again." Jiang Yue said confidently.
Hearing that, Li Futian chuckled and a trace of mystery flashed in his eyes.
"Brother Jiang is right. Our Cangxing world is not dead and the past glory can still be recovered. The future will be brighter than the past." He said with a bright smile on his lips.
