Chapter 292: Finding Xuan Ke
As Jiang Yue and Yu Nianzhen walked, they heard the sound of fighting.
The fighting involved several people and the two couldn’t help but look at each other.
"Let’s see the situation and then make a decision." Yu Nianzhen said and Jiang Yue nodded.
After that, they hastened toward where they heard the fighting and eventually arrived at a clearing.
The purple bamboo trees in this area had been cut down and six people were fighting wantonly.

When Jiang Yue heard that, he looked at the person who was being besieged and his mouth fell open.
Seeing the situation, he suddenly remembered the Thousand Herbs Garden.
Initially, Xuan Ke went to find the scarlet rock herb and was besieged.
This time, he found the heavenly purple bamboo and was once again besieged.
’This guy is too unlucky.’ He thought and shook his head.
"You two, get away from here if you want to keep your lives." Someone shouted and alerted the others to the two’s presence.

"Let’s go." Yu Nianzhen said and the two rushed toward the group.
Without a word, they attacked the five and separated two enemies from Xuan Ke.
"Two brats, don’t get involved in what you shouldn’t be." Jiang Yue’s opponent shouted.
"You talk too much." Jiang Yue said and released his beast fire to attack the person.
"You actually have a beast fire? It isn’t a loss to fight and kill you."
"You want to kill me with your little ability?" Jiang Yue snorted and the beast fire grew wilder.
It cantered to the person and soon enclosed him at the centre of a flame circle.
However, the person didn’t panic. Rather, he looked more impressed and unconcealed greed solidified his eyes.
"I will kill you and take your beast fire." He shouted and his attacks became more aggressive.
His fists blurs and appeared like shadows around Jiang Yue.
Unfortunately, Jiang Yue didn’t take this kind of attack seriously. He only manipulated the beast fire and the firewall shrunk inwards.
Initially, the opponent didn’t care about this and still thought he could kill Jiang Yue.
However, as the flame wall shrunk, he realised the beast fire was unsure.
He could tell its level was not high but it was several times hotter than ordinary beast fires of the same level.
"Why is it like this?" He muttered in confusion.
In his disbelief, he observed the beast fire carefully and unexpectedly saw a small difference.
’What is that? Why does it feel like a heaven and earth flame?’ He wondered and his eyebrows flew upwards.
He seemed to have realised something and he looked at Jiang Yue in horror.
"Ssshhh." Jiang Yue said and placed an index finger to his lips.
At the same time, he directed the fire to engulf the person and the opponent was immediately burned to death.
’How can I let him go after discovering my primordial yin-yang fame?’ Jiang Yue thought and took back his flame.
While he was dealing with his opponent, Yu Nianzhen had also dealt with his and was now heading towards the second.
"Damnit! What useless fellows. They didn’t even hold them for a few breaths." One of the remaining three cursed.
"You should leave while you have a chance." Xuan Ke said to the three.

They were all just fighting for treasures and Xuan Ke was willing to let them go if they didn’t insist.

"What’s the matter?"
"The thunder forest is getting a little crowded. We should leave as soon as possible." Xuan Ke observed.
When they first entered the thunder forest, they rarely encountered others.
However, Xuan Ke had encountered quite a lot of cultivators in the past few days.
"It’s only natural." Jiang Yue said and sighed.
"It’s been almost a year since we entered the Nine Treasures secret realm. Although most people have not fully recovered from the effects of the essence stealing array, they should be well enough to run around."
"I want to take advantage of this time to collect a few more treasures before I retreat." Xuan Ke said and the other two agreed.
This was one of the reasons why Yu Nianzhen didn’t immediately retreat after he got the thunder essence crystal.
