While the martial contest continued in the Ice Palace region, an old man entered a village in the Sea Cloud region.
"Another one." He muttered under his breath.
The old man clenched his hand and a red light flashed in his eyes.
This was the fourth village he came to and the situation was the same as the first.
"They didn’t even spare the children." He said through gritted teeth and looked around.
From his position at the village entrance, he saw hundreds of bodies lying on the ground.
The children and most of the adults were intact but a small number of adults had a fist-sized hole below the navel.
With a sigh, Chu Pengju entered the village and used his qi to dig a big hole.
When that was done, he levitated the bodies into the hole and covered it to complete the grave.
After that, Chu Pengju did not linger in the village and continued on to the next.

Apart from him, there was only one other origin tempering realm cultivator.
