Chapter 1129: Chapter 1129: What the Heck Is Aurelia Aurelia Aurelia?
Aurelia raised a smile and came up behind Caspian Parker, lifting her hand to massage his shoulders.
Caspian was taken aback by the sudden attention, raising an eyebrow as he looked at Aurelia.
Aurelia chuckled, "You’re working so hard as a brother. How could I, as your sister, not reward you a little?"
Caspian nodded, "Hmm, not long ago when you decided on your own to return to the country to find Mason Nightshade, I didn’t feel like I existed as a brother in your eyes."
"Brother, since when did you become so petty?" Aurelia frowned, her expression very serious.
Caspian was caught between laughter and tears internally. How did this little girl turn it around to say he’s the one being petty?
"Alright, go to bed now. You can barely keep your eyes open."
Although Aurelia had slept a bit on the plane, there was still a time difference between the two places, and her body hadn’t fully adjusted. Hearing Caspian tell her to go back to her room to sleep, she bid him goodnight and returned to her own room.
The living room instantly quieted down.
Caspian’s gaze turned cold, and the phone in his hand was vibrating. He swiped open to take the call, "She is she, and Auntie is Auntie. I’m warning you all, don’t start having any ideas about her!
I haven’t settled the score with you over last time, when you reported to Grandfather!
She has nothing to do with the Parker Family, and you’d all better stay away from her!"
...
After resting at home for a day, Aurelia arrived on set. The moment Sawyer saw her, he enthusiastically ran over, "Boohoo, Aurelia... you’re finally back!!"
Aurelia? What’s that all about?
Aurelia was mentally rolling her eyes, pushing Sawyer’s head away with disdain, "Director Sawyer, though a day without seeing each other can feel like three years, I’ve only been gone a short while. And even though it delayed the shooting progress, everyone still got a break. You don’t need to think of me that much, right?"
Sawyer looked at Aurelia with puppy-like eyes.
Cold sweat dripped down Aurelia’s forehead.
Just think about it, a man over six feet tall, in his forties, with a beard, staring at you pitiably like a cute little girl... you’d feel a bit creeped out.
Aurelia sighed, "Director Sawyer, just say what you have to say, can you? I can’t deal with this, neither my stomach nor myself."
"You’re being mean." Sawyer pretended to be coy, placing a hand over his mouth and coughing softly, "It’s just... our film is nearing the end, but we still haven’t decided who will play the role of Ivara Webster.
The cast around us is filled with Western faces from M Nation. We can’t possibly have them play the elusive, ethereal Pavilion Master of Infinity Pavilion, right?
Should we return home and hold auditions for the role, or do you have anyone suitable for the role in mind?"
Aurelia frowned in thought, her mind conjuring up the image of Andrew Kennedy. As the new generation’s idol, Andrew would indeed fit the part well, but—she had collaborated with Andrew on her recent projects, which might lead the audience to question if it was Andrew bringing her popularity.
The audience’s aesthetic could also get tired.
Even if Andrew isn’t the one to play Ivara Webster, there’s someone out there who’s even more fitting for the role than Andrew.
It just takes time to find them.
Good works are never afraid of waiting.
"Not yet," Aurelia said calmly. "No rush, we’ll find someone in time. Good works are worth the wait." She patted Sawyer’s shoulder.
Sawyer forced a smile, "I’m more worried about you waiting."
Aurelia looked at Sawyer in surprise. What gave him the impression that she was in such a hurry?
