Volume 4, Afterword

To all my readers, how are you doing?

This 4th volume, where our dear Akiteru is slowly starting to surrender to the annoying cuteness that Iroha possesses, is being presented by your dear author Mikaga Ghost.

This time around, I was planning on presenting another episode which happened during the making of this volume, but the manuscript just worked out a bit too well, and rather than a retort, my dear editor Nuru-san just threw the manuscript at me with an aggitated ‘Ora!’.

Overflowing with confidence that I had created something godly with this new manuscript, thinking that I had hit the absolute homerun, I was waiting for the impressions of my dear editor.

And then, a few days later, when my editor Nuru-san came with the expected—

“It was really interesting, but why did you use such an expression during this ultimate emo scene?”

…Hey hey hey. It’s me, who has created a masterpiece. I wouldn’t use any expression that would make you tilt your head in confusion. Hence, confidently, I reread that passage.

Like stripping of the coating off tempura1 in one breath, she pulled it off.2

…Hm? (Blinking)

…Hmmmm????? (Tilting my head)

The word [Tempura] was right there, completely destroying any sort of atmosphere that I had built up…But, why was it there? Thinking back to the day I had written this part of the manuscript, I had some tempura for dinner. Not to mention some awfully delicious tempura. Japanese scallop tempura. And with that, the tragedy was created.

In the end, we changed that part to [Making it sound like a forbidden seal was broken, she took it off in one breath], and that was the happy end of it all. Everyone, be careful of tempura when you write, okay?

And after these things happening in the background, volume 4 safely released together with the drama CD, and the series as a whole will go even further beyond, so look forward to it.
