Nie Xiaoxing’s heart clenched, and she turned her head to look in Yuan Lei’s direction.
It turned out Yuan Lei somehow toppled the barbecue grill, and the charcoal fire almost fell out, with some landing on her instep. She was screaming and jumping around.

Nie Xiaoxing glared at her angrily.

Xiao Nanqing glanced towards the door, his gaze distant, remaining silent.
"Brother Third, I really didn’t mean to burn sister-in-law. After you left, I was so worried about you that I got distracted, and that’s how I knocked over the grill. Sister-in-law fell trying to save me, and I feel so guilty and regretful," Yuan Lei choked up as she spoke.
"Xiao Xing’s injury is quite serious."
Xiao Nanqing only said lightly.
