The Chaos Darkness was caught off guard.

Though the power Gu Shengyin exhibited now exceeds Chaos Darkness’s expectations, it’s still within the realm of controlled intention.
Gu Shengyin watched helplessly as Dark Power slowly invaded her body.
Pain.
Extreme pain.
This body, although not a true Seraphim, has been bathed in the Attribute of Light since its creation.
Under the powerful Baptism of Holy Spirit Power in the Great Cathedral for hundreds of thousands of years, her body is almost comparable to a naturally born Body of Light.
What does it feel like for a pure Body of Light to be forcibly invaded by darkness?
Gu Shengyin feels her body has become a battlefield.
The external Dark Power and the Force of Light within her body are fiercely contending.
"So resilient?" Chaos Darkness looked at Gu Shengyin, whose body was pale and almost translucent from the agony, her dark eyes flickering with confusion.
Is it because of that strange faith?
Willing to endure such great pain, yet unwilling to become Fallen?
"System!" Gu Shengyin gritted her teeth, trying to remain clear-headed.
"I can barely hold on," she said with difficulty. "Tell me how can I avoid becoming Fallen?"
The system flickered with white light: "Maintain clarity, as long as the Core of Heart is not tainted, no circumstance can cause you to become Fallen. If your Core of Heart remains pure, even if your body is scorched by Force of Light, returning to Heaven will allow you to restore normalcy."
Gu Shengyin understood the system’s message.
Keeping the Core of Heart pure means staying absolutely lucid amidst this extreme pain.
For if her consciousness slips even a little, Chaos Darkness could exploit the opening.
Cold sweat dripped down her forehead.
She tasted the metallic essence of blood in her mouth.
Gu Shengyin could clearly sense the scorching of her body by Dark Power inch by inch.
Her consciousness contained only rejection.
Rejecting all proximity of Dark Power.
But it hurts so much!
God, why don’t you come to save me?
"Still unwilling to give up?" Chaos Darkness stared at the figure before her.
It’s already the sixth day.
The figure with silver hair was now enveloped by dense black mist.
Her body was completely surrounded by Dark Power.
Yet that dark power could only flaunt around her body.
Those eyes remained pure silver in color.
Only if her Core of Heart turns black, if her eyes get stained by darkness, would their fusion be truly successful.
