Chapter 1880: Chapter 1880: The Eighth Seraphim vs. Eye of Darkness (Part 21)

As God said, since then, Gu Shengyin had not seen Chaos Darkness again.

Days passed by peacefully like this.

Ordinary angels couldn’t perceive it, but a Seraphim of Gu Shengyin’s level could sense it.

Heaven remained as serene as ever, but the Human Realm began to experience frequent natural disasters, and rumors said Hell was also restless.

The summons from God to the Seraphim became fewer and fewer.

This was a very rare occurrence.

Although most of the time God was alone in the Great Cathedral, aside from the Seraphim, God hardly ever summoned any other angels.

But there is a big difference between very seldom and almost never.

All beings in Heaven knew that God’s most cherished were His Highness Lucifer and Her Highness Gallia.

However, Lucifer had not seen God for several months.

Gallia was in much the same situation.

The Seraphim began to worry.

Even though in their hearts God was omnipotent, incapable of any accidents, this situation truly caused concern.

Lucifer gathered the other seven Seraphim for a brief meeting.

Lucifer frowned with his charming brows and said, "I have some worries in my heart."

He looked at Gallia: "Gallia, you are the closest to our God, have you discovered anything?"

Gu Shengyin shook her head.

In fact, the Seraphim all knew that whether there was a problem or not, if God didn’t want others to know, no one would know anything.

Gu Shengyin had a vague suspicion in her heart, fearing it was somehow related to the Balance of Light and Darkness.

Her guess was not wrong at all.

In the Great Cathedral at this time, the dense Power of the Holy Spirit was increasing at a terrifying speed.

God still sat serenely upon the Divine Throne, but if anyone could see through that layer of Holy Light onto him, they would discover that at this moment God’s hands were tightly clenched.

The worried voice of the Book of Creation echoed from within: "God... are you alright?"

No one answered.

After a long time, God’s indifferent voice slowly resonated from the Great Cathedral: "Nothing is wrong."

God opened his eyes: "Book of Creation, is it ready?"

The Book of Creation suddenly flew into the air, suspended in the void.

At the same time, its pages rapidly flipped, scenes flashing before God’s eyes.

God watched expressionlessly until the pages of the Book of Creation finally stopped moving.

The Great Cathedral fell into silence.

Long after, the voice of the Book of Creation rang out again: "How could it be like this?"

With profound divine skills, God forcefully used the Book of Creation as a medium to search for a way to maintain the Balance of Light and Darkness.

In a certain sense, they succeeded.

Because on the Book of Creation, the solution indeed manifested.

But this solution...

Whether it was God or the Book of Creation, both found it somewhat hard to accept.

God closed his eyes: "Try again."

The Book of Creation said nothing.

Such defiant divine skills, even for the Creator God, were extremely exhausting of divine power.

God was evidently unwilling to believe in that future, or rather, hoped to find another method.

But the result came out the same once more.

The Great Cathedral fell into silence again.

"God." A gentle female voice suddenly echoed in this space.

God opened his eyes.

"Chaos Darkness."
