Chapter 1871: Chapter 1871: The Eighth Seraphim VS Eye of Darkness (Part 12)
She quickly walked into the Great Cathedral, looking towards the figure on the Divine Throne.
"God." She knelt and asked softly, "Why are you angry?"
Why are you angry?
God asked himself the same question.
Because he saw the flowers in Gallia’s hands?
Because someone violated Heaven’s commandments?
But among the millions of Angels in Heaven, how many have violated the commandments of the Seven Virtues?
Many.
Have I ever been angry at those Angels who break the commandments?
Never.
So, is it just because this Angel is Gallia?
God lowered his eyes, his pale gold eyes gazing directly at the Seraphim kneeling on the ground.
In her hand, she still held that vibrant bouquet of Elf Flowers, and the gaze directed at him was full of the usual trust and attachment.
This was still his Gallia, unchanged in the slightest.
The agitated Spiritual Power within the Great Cathedral suddenly calmed down.
At the same time, Gu Shengyin felt a gentle force lift her up.
Obediently, she stood up and walked towards the figure on the Divine Throne.
God made no move, implicitly allowing her to approach.
Gu Shengyin continued until she reached the front of the Divine Throne.
She lifted her head, gazing at the figure enveloped in Holy Light before her.
To all creatures, this Holy Light was extremely threatening, yet it had no effect on Gu Shengyin whatsoever.
"God, why are you angry?" she softly asked the question once more.
Divinities looked at the Seraphim just inches away.
Her beautiful brows furrowed slightly, and her clear silver eyes were visibly filled with concern.
She was worried.
In this world, could there truly be an Angel who worried about divinities?
All Angels believed God was omnipotent, the mightiest, never subject to any emotions.
Yet this Seraphim worried about him.
God found this feeling quite novel.
He didn’t answer Gu Shengyin’s question but instead asked, "Gallia, are you worried about me?"
This was not a difficult thing to admit.
Gu Shengyin nodded.
Divinities’ mood lifted because of her straightforward attitude.
Yet he still replied, "I do not need it, Gallia."
Gu Shengyin’s pretty eyes curved into a smile: "I know God is omnipotent. But God, please allow your devoted believer to always hold you in her heart."
Divinities thus stayed silent, acknowledging that Gallia’s words made him feel very good.
Until he saw the flowers she held in her arms.
Divinities asked, "Gallia, where did the Elf Flowers in your hand come from?"
Did God actually notice?
Gu Shengyin found it somewhat surprising; she thought divinities wouldn’t care about such trivial matters.
She truthfully responded, "I was passing by Moon Heaven when I happened to see this bouquet of Elf Flowers."
Her voice lowered a bit: "Gallia thought the flowers were beautiful and wanted to..."
She paused for a second, then, as if gathering some courage, looked directly at the divinities under the Holy Light: "Wanted to gift them to God."
God felt a tremor in his heart.
His voice sounded somewhat strange, but masked by a cold tone, Gu Shengyin didn’t notice: "You say... you want to offer it to me?"
Gu Shengyin was a bit shy but still nodded.
In her heart, divinities ought to receive the best.
Yet she never expected, after nodding, God seated on the Divine Throne remained silent for a long time.
Gu Shengyin anxiously asked, "God, do you... not like it?"
