Chapter 1869: Chapter 1869: The Eighth Seraphim vs. the Eye of Darkness (Part 10)

The divinities once had her reside permanently in Crystal Heaven, intending to better observe her.

But after a hundred thousand years had passed, the divinities were certain.

Gallia was no different from other Seraphim.

With the same pure and unblemished heart, loving the light, with a steadfast faith in God.

God finally felt assured enough to begin entrusting the affairs of Heaven to Gallia.

...

Meanwhile, Gu Shengyin followed Lucifer to the office area of Angel Academy.

The angels in charge over there had already received the news, and were excitedly awaiting the arrival of the new Dean.

These angels did not harbor the slightest resentment for having their power taken away; on the contrary, they were tremendously excited that His Highness the Seraph had come to serve as their Dean.

What an immense honor it was to work under Her Highness Gallia!

After guiding Gu Shengyin through the environment of Angel Academy, Lucifer left.

Gu Shengyin was very grateful for this.

As Seraphim Chief, Lucifer had a multitude of matters to handle daily, yet under such circumstances, he took the time to accompany her; a true great colleague in Heaven!

Heaven has no night.

The angels’ working and resting times are strictly calculated with hourglasses.

Gu Shengyin spent an entire day at Angel Academy.

Afterward, she discovered that the academy actually had several vice-deans, as well as numerous dean assistants.

Indeed, it was thanks to them that for so many years, Angel Academy had been continuously running normally even without a dean.

This also indicates that Gu Shengyin, the Dean of Angel Academy, really just held a nominal title.

As expected, her daily work would likely consist of reporting at the academy, after which she could spend the whole day reading books and enjoying the scenery at the Angel Library next door.

At most, there might be some major decisions or agendas requiring her to review and sign as the Dean.

Gu Shengyin let out a long sigh of relief; she liked this job!

After a day, Gu Shengyin headed to the teleportation array in Moon Heaven, preparing to go straight to Crystal Heaven from there.

Moon Heaven mostly consisted of common angels, making it very different from Gu Shengyin’s Crystal Heaven, and even Jupiter Heaven where the Seraphim lived.

In Gu Shengyin’s description, it resembled the Human Realm from her previous missions.

Looking around, various shops run by angels were lined up closely together; the entire atmosphere contrasted with the solemn and austere Heaven.

Gu Shengyin noticed a flower shop not far away.

She recalled the enthusiastic yet bashful angels when she first arrived at Moon Heaven today.

"What kind of flower is this?" Gu Shengyin pointed at a bouquet of exceptionally beautiful flowers and inquired.

The flowers were a vibrant red, with large blooms boasting hundreds of layered petals bursting forth, each petal shimmering with starlight, exceedingly gorgeous.

Gu Shengyin was somewhat surprised.

Due to the divinities’ preference for pure and pristine things, flowers this vividly colorful and dazzling were rare to see in Heaven.

The owner of the flower shop, a two-winged angel, turned visibly red with excitement upon seeing Gu Shengyin.

"Esteemed Her Highness Gallia, these are the Holy Flowers, Elf Flowers, from the Mortal World’s Elf Race."

Elf Flowers?

No wonder.

Gu Shengyin instantly realized that she had read in ancient records that the Holy Flowers of the Elf Clan were among the most beautiful blooms in this world, also considered a treasured possession of the Elf Race, strictly forbidden for outsiders to pick.

Then the question arose.

Gu Shengyin eyed the shop owner: "The Holy Flowers of the Elf Race are prohibited from being picked by outsiders; how did you come by these?"
