Chapter 10: Love From the Dawn of Time
"Looking at you right now is making me want to skip every plan I had and just pin you down right here on this peak."
Though the words slipped out without much forethought, Akasha meant every single one of them.
He shifted closer on the mountain peak, the stone cool and solid beneath his knees as he moved over Luna.
The crisp night wind swept across them both, carrying the clean scent of the vast world below.
He positioned himself above her, one hand bracing beside her head, his crimson and white hair falling forward as he looked down into her luminous eyes.
Luna said nothing at first.
She simply stared up into his blood-red gaze, her own softening as a slow, genuine smile formed on her lips.
Her white hair spilled across the stone like strands of silk, her body easing beneath him, radiating warmth that contrasted beautifully with the cool mountain air.
She knew he should already be setting out on his journey toward power, yet her restraint had worn dangerously thin.
All the playful banter and constant teasing had only been a mask for the intense desire she had struggled to contain.
"My Love... kiss me."
The instant their lips met, everything around them seemed to pause.
The wind went still, the glow of the seven suns faded, and even the far-off continents below felt as if they were holding their breath.
A powerful pull drew them both away from the physical realm, plunging them into a stream of Luna’s memories.
----
They stood together in the endless darkness at the very dawn of time—before worlds, before stars, before anything existed.
Only a single massive ethereal cosmic egg floated in the infinite void.
It was colossal, easily the size of a world yet to be born, its surface a swirling mosaic of soft primordial light.
Veins of gentle gold, rose, and purple pulsed slowly across its translucent shell-like living heartbeats.
The egg radiated a quiet warmth that pushed gently against the absolute nothingness surrounding it, as if it alone carried the promise of all that would ever be.
Then a timeless woman’s voice echoed through the nothingness, warm and layered with boundless power.
And as her words echoed through the air, pink and purple essence began to flow from the egg, swirling together and slowly taking shape.
"You shall be the First Spirit of this Existence."
The voice continued with gentle authority, shaping the flowing essence.
"I name you Luna.... Luna the Spirit of Lust. Your purpose is to one day guide my baby boy on his journey throughout Pantheos... until the day we reunite."
The woman paused, her presence radiating affection.
"Oh Fufufu~ While creation has yet to fully form... in a few moments, everything will change."
With simple words, she granted Luna a body that matched the one she possessed in the present—ethereal white hair, graceful curves, and luminous presence.
"You have the freedom to explore and do as you see fit. However, you must return before my baby boy, Akasha, is born."
HUMMMM!!!!
Before she departed, the mysterious presence granted Luna the incredible gift of peak Universal strength, sparing her the long and arduous process of cultivation.
"This should be enough for you to travel without care."
As the woman’s presence faded, creation ignited.
HUMMMM!!!!
The darkness shattered in a cataclysm of light and possibility.
Entire universes, stars, galaxies, and worlds simply appeared—as if they had always existed—blossoming into being in an instant.
Nebulae bloomed like cosmic flowers, galaxies spun into existence with breathtaking speed, and countless suns ignited, bathing the void in rivers of radiant light.
The once-empty expanse erupted into a symphony of creation, overwhelming in its beauty and scale
Like a ghost to it all, Akasha stood frozen in the memory, breath caught in his throat.
The sheer weight of it all left him almost speechless.
"Just... what? No... is this really how it all began?"
He spoke, still reeling from the raw power and effortless majesty of creation that had left him utterly awestruck.
But that wasn’t all—there was something more, something he couldn’t quite name.
He had felt an undeniable pull toward the timeless voice that had echoed just moments before.
Its warmth and boundless affection seemed to seep into him, stirring something deep within, awakening a longing he hadn’t even known existed.
"And that voice... was that... my mother?"
As the words slipped out, Luna floated closer behind him, pressing her body gently against his back.
She kissed his cheek gently, her lips drifting along the side of his neck, warm breath brushing his skin.
"My love... this is everything I’ve ever known in my life," she murmured. "And yes... that voice belongs to your mother."
A soft, playful giggle escaped her, light and intimate.
"Even though I stand at the Universal Peak, as you can see, I’ve put in no effort at all." Luna’s fingers traced lazily down his arm.
"And just to be clear... I’m not omniscient or some walking library, so don’t expect me to carry every bit of knowledge from every world."
Akasha remained silent, utterly captivated as he continued to watch the memory unfold.
Eventually, after many years, Luna and the egg found themselves drifting in what would later become an undiscovered corner of the verse.
Through what felt like many Eras, Luna had never moved far.
Despite being given the freedom to do so...
She remained faithfully beside the massive cosmic egg, her only actions gentle and tender.
At times she would rub its glowing surface with loving care, press soft kisses against its warm shell, or wrap her arms around it in quiet embraces.
At other times she would curl up on top of it and sleep, her white hair spilling across its ethereal surface like moonlight.
All the while, she wondered with quiet longing.
Oh... what will you look like the day you finally come out of your egg, my Akasha?
Yet even amid that awe-inspiring vastness of creation—as stars were born around her, galaxies colliding and correcting —Akasha could feel it clearly through the memory.
Her love for him burned brighter than anything else, even more than the affection she felt for her own creator.
From the instant she came into existence, her determination to watch over him and remain by his side had never wavered.
CRACKKKK!
And as the egg slowly began to crack, the memory faded, gently drawing them back to the present on the mountain peak.
