Chapter 422: Chapter 112: Void Gold, Danger Warning

The colossal Black Dragon hovered in the sky, overlooking the dragons gathered at the Ink Black Square below.

The previously bustling square fell silent in an instant.

The crystals fell into ten of the giant dragons among the group, merging with them, and soon these dragons felt discomfort and pain.

In the eyes of the dragons, all of this happened merely by the Black Dragon Lord moving its claw a few times, after which ten dragons among them began to let out painful low roars.

Among these ten dragons was White Dragon Antonio, the first dragon to appear in the Dragon Nest, who also took the lead in calling the Black Dragon Lord their father.

As for the other nine dragons that merged with the crystals, they were the nine most powerful dragons present.

Golden Dragon, Red Dragon, Silver Dragon, Blue Dragon, all were present.

During the mutation, deep within the bloodline and genes of these ten dragons, new talents began to emerge.

Tier Three Mutated Talent - Demon Flame

This was an ability that Udi had recently mastered.

Initially, Udi could only grant the Mutated Talent by twisting the followers into Void Descendants, and even then it was bestowed randomly. However, perhaps due to an increase in tier, gaining a deeper understanding and control over Void Power, Udi felt it could now grant Mutated Talents without transforming followers into Void Descendants.

And what kind of Mutated Talent to bestow was entirely up to its own discretion.

Feeling the Void Power in its Dragon Body nearly depleted, Udi paid it no mind, focusing instead on the ten slowly mutating giant dragons below.

Although Udi felt it could achieve this, it still required experimentation.

As time passed, under the watchful eyes of the dragons and the Black Dragon Lord, the ten dragons soon completed their mutations one after another.

The first to complete the mutation was the strongest of them all, Golden Dragon Gonzalo, who had reached the Nineteen-level Peak.

This creature had reached the Fourteenth Level Peak as merely a Dragon Beast, just one step away from Master Level. Over the years, through diligent cultivation and the dual blessing of Void Power, such progress was quite normal.

"Feel your body, see if there’s a new special power," Udi said.

Under the gaze of the Black Dragon Lord’s majestic Dragon Eye, Gonzalo, as the leader and elder brother of the dragons, couldn’t help but feel nervous.

Its clever mind had already vaguely connected its earlier pain and mutation to the fatherly figure.

"Feeling the body... power..." Gonzalo focused its mind and indeed sensed a special newborn power.

The second limitation was that the granted Mutated Talent was merely a seed. To truly develop the power of this Mutated Talent required the individual’s efforts to grow stronger through cultivation.

Nevertheless, talents rooted in the bloodline might develop at different speeds, depending on personal aptitude. Yet, with enough time, anyone could cultivate their Talents to a reasonably high level.

Having validated the experiment, Udi lingered no longer, its dragon shadow gradually faded, vanishing above the Ink Black Square.

The weakest among the ten dragons that received the Demon Flame Talent, White Dragon Antonio, slowly awakened, catching only a glimpse of its father’s departure.

It opened its mouth, then lowered its dragon head, its beautiful frost-blue dragon eyes revealing sadness.

At some point, the distance between it and its father began to widen, and their once close relationship became somewhat unfamiliar.
