Chapter 90: Chapter 89: The Death God

"You jeopardized everything Young master! How could you be so reckless?!!"

Nozick sat like a puppy as his right-hand man nagged him. Attacking the Fangdorrs alone on the pretext of wanting to judge their strength was a very reckless action that almost cost him his life. If not for Eztli.

"Ahh Thank you Ez-"

"No need it’s my honour"

Nozick stands up.

"Alright alright nagging time is over prepare the soldiers, we are marching onward in four hours"

"Young master! what do you mean?!"

"Stop it"

There was a noticeable change in Nozick’s tone. Russ knew that change and also knew what it meant.

’Thank ...goodness’

Nozick was a person that made fun of every situation he found himself in. He acted recklessly and was always casual about it, but there is always this one in three times, he gets serious and such time is the only time to see his might.

Perhaps when he attacked the Fangdorr, he was expecting defeat and didn’t even give it his all but as a result of his action, the Fangdorr had been alerted. Also, Nozick was able to find out that if they don’t attack now, they probably would not have another chance to do it anymore.

Russ shouted, "Everyone gets ready!, prepare!, we march in for hours!"

The whole place got busy immediately, the sound of boots thumping the ground continued.

Meanwhile****************

Arnette watched from the forest as the green orcs were accommodated into the abode by the Fangdorr so-called chief. Even tho he wasn’t the type to judge. He was still skeptical as to whether to conclude that the skinny looking dude was the Fangdorr chief that initiated the change. Every other person would probably have overlooked the possibility of the skinny dude being the chief.

"What do we do Sire?" The Artician soldiers were hungry for action.

"Don’t get impatient" Mahuizoh shut them off.

Was it her intention to make Arnette notice her because she just failed? Even though the artician soldiers were peasants, they still had their pride to hold to themselves, being treated like a dog by a red-haired spoilt eastern brat was pissing them off.

A sight unfolded before Arnette.

A large runic circle appeared above the Fangdorr’s settlement and eventually some people in thick brown cloaks. They immediately attracted the attention of the Fangdorrs and the green orcs.

One of the orc chieftains was particularly cocky.

"tekkch ccch[Mu’rook smells humans]"

They just stood and waited.

There was silence for a second and the wind of the cool forest current could be heard louder than ever; followed by the orcs and fangdorr’s loud battle cry and the crumbling of the ground but to interrupt it all, a familiar presence emerged.

Like a large hologram-like image of Onoskelis scarred the approaching orcs and fangdorr. A very big image of a dark entity covered in a dark purple cloak and holding a large scythe, tracing the image to its root they saw one human in a cloak, darkness protruded from her eyes and mouth forming the large entity before them.

Onoskelis tried to speak but instead, a skipping sound could be heard, he swung his scythe and harvested souls of almost every orc and Fangdorr.

If he was to swing that Scythe again perhaps not a single one of the orcs would remain.

He hesitated on the second swing but by this time even the orcs and fangdorr were already running for their lives, they could not handle such a powerful presence of darkness amidst them.

Arnette who watched from afar was amazed and curious.

’is that girl not the girl from Redmoon party that finished Deffer...’

Mahuizoh was bewildered at the sight that unfolded before her, ’that bitch’

She lost her composure and commanded that they should leave which Arnette immediately put a stop to.

"I don’t remember your brother ever putting you in charge... know your place... Princess"

She went mute and murmured, "I’m sorry"

Arnette mounted his Saber tiger and left as he was leaving he caught the sight of another candidate who stood in awe as he saw a death god take over the battlefield.

He smiled,

’He might be worth a try after all’

Nozick stood blank as he saw the orcs and Fangdorrs retreat in fear. What he was bringing over seven thousand men for, was just finished by the presence of darkness.

Instead of getting worked up, Nozick’s face lit up. "MY!!....RIVAL!!!"
