Chapter 226: An Adventure Begins
"Can we follow you?" Harley and Marley asks Rein.
"Guys I’m very sorry, this is something I need to do alone."
"Does that mean you don’t trust us?" Harley says.
"hmph, leave him alone" Marley flings her head the other way round.
Rein smiles, ’It feels nice to see that despite the new me they still seem the same, Harley is as soft as always and Marley, always so pompous’
Rein goes out of the Fenrir palace, everyone that was working was gathered outside, he was very surprised.
"What is this?" he asks Jon who was in front.
"Well since you said you will be gone for awhile, Yhuzia and I thought it was only nice to pay this respect to our King." Jon said.
Rein smiles, "It feels a little bit awkward."
"You don’t seem to be refusing the title anymore, I can remember how you used to not like the title." Jon said to him.
"I will explain when I come back, why I agreed to building a nation, why I agreed to the war, why I agreed to being a King. The moment I come, I will be explaining everything."
"Alright I guess that’s something to look forward to" he said.
Arnette bowed, "it feels unsatisfying to let you go when you have barely been with us for long"
"Arnette stop making it look like I’m going to die"
"Can I follow you?" Natasha said.
"No" Rein replies sharply.
"Take good care of yourself, Lord Wimberley" Goldevia said with a bow.
Rein smiled and gave her a shoulder tap, she blushed, Natasha’s eye widened she got in Rein’s front before he could talk to the next person in line, "Lord Wimberley me too"
"Huh?" Rein was clueless.
The next person in line was already running out of patience, Sigrid shoved Natasha out of the way, "I look forward to your return" she said, she paused a little and turned away.
Natasha giggles.
"Master it saddens me that you will be taking Kat and not me" Ben said.
"shut up, stoopid" Katherine said with a candy stick in her mouth.
Rein smiles, "I need you to ensure victory in this place, you are my first subject and I can never trust anyone with such huge work, I also need you to get stronger, if its very much possible, I don’t want to be involved with the war at all, because there are much more important matters than warring with nations" Rein said to Ben who immediately went to his knee.
"Orders received sir!!" he shouted with so much convictions.
Not only the guys close to Rein, even the soldiers watched and wondered who is this person. Rein climbed upon a wyvern which the duke said he has been waiting to give to him, a black wyvern, he flew off and everyone wouldn’t stop looking.

"Have you heard of the new leader?"
"I have heard something here and there, one that stood out was the fact that he is a very power and vicious player...what was his name again, I think Reinard oh something..."
Kritt who was busy arranging shields at the armory heard two guys talk as they walked out, he ran, grabbed the one that talked last and pinned him to the wall.
"What did you say now?! What name did you just call?!"
"Reinard...the man guild master serves" the guy answered him, "what the hell do you think you are doing to me...?"
"Yes what are you doing to him?!!" The other one shouted but could not dare to raise a hand against Kritt. It was because they all knew, two years ago, another set of humans came into the world again, but these ones had explosive growth rate. Kritt was considered an asset to the guild, after two years he was already a five star mage. Though he was very aggressive but he was well controlled by the guild dungeon manager which was Maxi. He respected and feared Maxi so much that he would unyieldingly bow everytime.
Kritt let go of the guy, "I’m sorry" he apologized and left."
"What the hell" the guy said and dusted his clothes as Kritt left.
Kritt gritted his teeth as he walked down the dark passage, to the main room.
There Maxi saw him, "what is wrong mister Kritt?" He asked.
"Can you tell me about this man who guild master serves?" Kritt asked him.
"Well, he is a man of virtue, a good man, he thought us what a team is and he is really strong"
"How strong?" Kritt asked.
Maxi smiled, "You can ask Ric, he once faced him"
Kritt tightened his fist, "is his name Reinard?"
"Exactly"
"...he is the reason, I was thrown in the abyss, he is tied to the reason I said I want to find a particular person and kill him"
"This guy Kain... how is master tied to that?"
"Well, when we were in our world, I used to bully him"
"Stop" Maxi said.
"If you bear a grudge... I don’t care, but if you dare anything I will kill you right on spot, even though you have been my student for two years"
"I’m sorry" Kritt said "but can I see him...even if it’s once, I need to know if he knows where Kain is?"
"I understand, since we are in busy times I will do something about that, it might take long though but I will work things out"
"Thank you" Kain bowed.
Grim comes out of his office, Maxi stands up and asks him, "where are you headed to?"
"Well master asked me to come to the western continent, we have a mission together" Grim smiled proudly as he said it.
"You must be happy" Maxi said.
"Of course I am" he replied.
"Guildmaster can I follow you?! You might need a protection from the army" Kritt quickly said.
"That’s true but Maxi could really use alot of hands right now, aren’t you always all over him"
"It’s okay Grim, let him go with you, he wants to see who our master is" Maxi said.
"I see. Okay we can go together"
"Thank you guild master!!" Kritt shouted.
"We live now, we have some kids to pick along the way" Grim said.
"Yes sir" Kritt ran fast to pick his lugages.
"Why would Master want to travel with kids though" Maxi asked out of curiosity
"I have no idea, it’s hard to tell what he is thinking, especially this day since he returned. What I am most surprised is that he picked me and not Braschiold, among us newbies then, I could tell that Braschiold and Estrid was his favorite."
"Talk abut those two I hear they have been very busy these days." Maxi said. "I hope we all get to see and be together again like the old days"
"We will, I’m sure of it, after all this is over"

"Okay, we will be stopping at Rionvile city of guile"
"I could easily transport us there you know"
"Azes"
"The beauty of this journey is that we get to enjoy journey moments like this... it’s just that I had no idea Katherine could now transform into a dragon now."
"It’s not particularly a dragon father, it’s a pseudo."
"Isn’t it a good thing though, it means she is getting stronger"
"Well it is, but the one father should really be praising is me because I have grown very strong and knowledgeable in just two years"
"Indeed" Rein pats his black hair.
After awhile, Rein landed in a forest, "You go and play anywhere around but make sure you available for when I call you." he said, "Tony"
His mount came out from the ground, the four eyed feral makaa, that was now bigger, it rubbed on Rein’s body and growled.
"I miss you too buddy" Rein said.
Katherine landed and swiftly transformed to her humanoid. "that wyvern is fast, master"
"yes" Rein answered.
"I’m hungry"
"We’ll get something to eat soon, just be careful with you belongings, I have never been to this city before but there’s no way it’s the city of guile just for naming sake."
"yes father" Azes said
"Yes master" Katherine said, she brought out two candles and stuffed it in her mouth. Rein looked at her and wondered, ’how did Katherine come to love food so much, I remember her to be a gentle and loving girl’.
"Alright guys let’s go, Azes hopped on Rein’s mount and a black wolf came out of the Katherine shadows, she climbed it and looked at Reinard. "my mount"
’I was already getting worried as to if she will have to ride with me, she seems to have thoroughly prepared with her if she brought alot of extra candies with her.’
They both journeyed into the city.
Unlike what Rein expected which was a busy city with people roaming it, what Rein saw was a city that has been ruined, people were just sitted here and there in silence, no stalls or unnecessary movement in fact in the whole surrounding they stood out so much because every other thing was like it has lost it’s colour, the floor was dry and dusty, the houses, buildings were dry and dirty, everyone closed the window immediately they sighted Rein, even the ones sitting hid their faces and avoid Rein’s gaze. He dropped from his mount and dropped a gold coin in the bowl of a beggar, the man was surprised, he ran away and kicked the bowl while doing so, both the bowl and the gold coin flew off.
Rein found this situation very much uncomfortable. "what exactly is going on here he asked himself.
