Chapter 185: Chapter 183: The Ulamog: Second phase

"Run"

"Uh?"

"Let’s escape together, you can’t defeat the ulamog, that is the first option, but the second however, that is if you wish to continue regardless of what I have said you still want to continue" Yhuzia smiled and looked at his face, Rein’s expression stayed the same, Rein said nothing.

"...ah, I guess you still want to fight it, then let me tell you, if you want to kill that thing, don’t let it enter its third phase, once the ulamog enters it third phase, it will awaken magical attacks, you see that speed right, it will triple, so whatever you all do make sure to defeat it in the second phase"

Reinard stood there and still kept looking.

"What?" Yhuzia asked him.

"Get it over with, you didn’t call me hear to just tell me about ulamog’s phases"

"Ah...you have become smarter, it just as he said, you have changed. You normally won’t be able to tell the intent behind my calling you before, but now it seems you can read people a bit"

"...you are wasting my time"

The Ulamog rose up and dashed at them again, this time around Dugnis and Count Mori joined, and they all surrounded it, rushing attacks on it.

"The ulamog’s speed and regenerative ability was a great hassle, if we want to land a meaningful attack we have to find a way to put a halt to its regenerative ability." Cale jumped down to Korral who was standing on guard and was deflecting the environmental damages from harming anyone. "Sir, do you know of any instructors capable of casting at least five star binding magic?"

"That would be Lionte, no better option, since he’s a 6 star mage, that has circuited 6 circles."

"Hmm, that’s reliable...", ’but I worry if even that will be enough to stop its regeneration, at least it would slow it down.’ "...thank you sir, please call on this man Lionte to cast a binding spell on the ulamog"

Cale flew jumped back to the slate roof of the building where he was standing and calculated as the ulamog, got up.

’No doubt about it... it seems to have gotten more agile’

The way the ulamog stood back on its four limbs was different from how it usually would, it seemed to be having a better grasp on how to use its body and limbs. Yhuzia smiled from the ground level he stood as he observed, ’its a given, the ulamog... will grow as it passes through its phase. Now let there is only one way to kill the ulamog, on its spinal cord, there exist an obvious swollen area towards the neck, just stab it and it would die"

"...seriously? Are you shitting me right now" Reinard was getting impatient.

"That is how it is, but you see the swollen area can only be visible once it enters the third phase and once the ulamoh enters the third phase, it learns about its weakness and desperately protects that place."

"Then if the third phase is only when its weakness will surface why did you say not to let it get to the third phase" Rein asked.

"Because it will get impossible to defeat" Yhuzia answered him with a soft smile and giggling.

Rein frowned, "I don’t care whether it has a weakness or not, I’ll kill that thing before it destroys this place any further."

"I’ve done my part then let’s meet again after you are victorious. I too have some bad kids to catch you see..." Yhuzia turned back and walked away.

’I used to think he was full of mystery when I first saw him trying to pry into my abilities but now, I can see through all of his cranky attitude, that bastard wants to use me to see the world from high up. Well not that I care about stupid things like that. Since I have no interest in kingship or those kind of things he’ll give up eventually’ Rein jumped of, destroying the ground where he took off from.

He straightup flew into the ulamog and gave it power packer jab, the ulamog was pushed two step backwards but it quickly regain itself and rushed forward again.

"Way of the storm!! Falling thunder!!!"

𝒔𝒔𝒔𝒉𝒉𝒉𝒉𝒉𝒉

Nozick breathe out and jumped from the roof he was standing towards the ulamog as he flew towards the ulamog with speed, storm gathered behind him with the same proportion of speed and his fist began flash, the storm began to rumble and as he got closer.

"Combine!! Way of the unbroken stone!! Avalanching strikes!!!" Nozick poured his fist on the Ulamog, the storm formed fist and punched on the ulamog as Nozick punched continuously, every punch made a rumbling sound, the monster first stood its ground but Nozick did not stop, he continued with a shout on tip of it, "die die die die die die die die..."

The monster began to be pushed back and Nozick followed it with his avalanche of stormed strikes.

From the ground the ulamog stood, a large circle appeared and Instructor Lionte shouted, "Bind!"

At once the green colored chains came out from the circle and threw itself all over the ulamog and disappeared.

"It’s done sir!" He shouted to the head instructor.

Cale whi was up saw it, "great bow we are getting closer. Now the principal can attack again"

Ben dashed down at Lionte and grabbed him by the head. "I’m very sorry human, I would have normally asked you to teach me the spell you casted just now but this way would he more effective"

Ben closed his eyes and said, "copy" he opened his eyes and smiled, he let go of instructor Lionte’s head, "thank you human, be grateful that you were of good help to the personal assistant of the great deity" Ben flew back up.

"That bastard, who the hell should be grateful. That bastard copied my skill!!" Lionte made a fuss from the ground as Ben flew away.

Rein who was floating on the air saw Ben, "Uh... you can copy skills"

Ben smiled, "well it’s a ultimate ability I received from master"

"What?" Rein was surprised and disgusted at the same time.

"Yes Master. I shall now use the bind spell"

’What, they can even use ultimate skill...I don’t even have an ultimate skill yet, well considering the context my godgamer skill should fit in for that. But why the copy skill, seriously Ariel should have told me about this’

{I did not make the decision}

{I’m not involved in the Subjection process}

’...my authority Uh?’

{Exactly}

’He sounds like a part of me I don’t well know yet’ Reinard sighed and focused on the battlefield.

The principal prepared another one of his lightningbolt attacks as he raised the bolt in his hand. He looks towards Cale who was beside him. "If you are wrong, if that thing regenerates I’ll kill you"

"It will regenerate... but... at a slower rate"

"I don’t care, I’ll kill you if it regenerate" 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺

’As expected, it would be very hard to reason with him, perhaps i should met with the other kid, since I don’t wanna die’

"Hey, right now you are thinking you should have met with that imposter instead of me right? Do you also think that imposter is stronger than me?"

"Sir, we are fighting an ulamog right now, this is not the time to care about that, you should focus on that focus on calling down the attack"

"Are you giving me orders right now, perhaps I should focus the attack on you"

"I’m sorry sir, you are the best there is, I don’t think anyone is stronger than you in the academy"

The principal summoned another large lightning from.the sky and this time.he dashed towards it as the lightning fell on the monster, he himself took the form of a lightning, his hair turned whit and his eyes turned white, his speed increased tremendously and he rushed all over the monster’s body slashing it seconds before the lightning dropped, je flew back and let the lightning drop on the ulamog, the ulamog screamed both from the slashing and the large lighting shock, it tumbled away and crashed into and out of a building, eventually causing the building to crumble to the ground.

Instructor Korral put his hand on his head, "our precious library."

The damages they were sustaining was already getting too much and even the instructors constantly dealing small damages to keep the decreasing of the health consistent where running out of stamina, the vice principal Hlofgar was out of battle and the principal was looking like he was out of breathe.

’I still can’t believe he used that form here’ Cale thought. He got closer to the principal, "Isn’t that suppose to be an incomplete form...the Railgun"

"It was to enhance the damage of the lightning"

"And you also slashed it to weaken its defense" Cale said.

"...I won’t be able to do much, that attack should kill it normally, but this one is persistent"

"It’s true that the attack should kill it normally... "

The ulamog stood up with a large cry.

Cale’s eye widened, "what’s it already recovering already?!"

"I’ll kill you Cale. You made me waste my precious mana"

"...eh...didn’t the binding..." Cale was dumbfounded.
