Chapter 156: Chapter 155: Kazimir’s diary.

\I saw it for the first day that day, I was already two thousand years old I had never deemed anything more powerful than my fangs or my strength, but the way he swung it and the wind sang along with him, the way his feet rode storms within seconds, I was a beauty that I could never attain not with my fangs or my strength, even if I lay my hands on a sword it would never be so beautiful, his steps were counted and deliberately placed but however they were perfect, I wanted such perfection, there was nothing I have placed my hand on and not made mine, there was nothing I have decided to destroy and was not able to destroy but he cut down every single one of myself subordinate with a single sword strike, a great demon was slashed down with a single strike, even though I found it beautiful, I could not... I could never let that human have his way, I am the 13th son of Arad the great, I have lived for thousands of years and way before this puny thing was born, what was so special about him that made him think he could have it his way. He wants to cut me down? Because I’m a disturbance to his city? I am great and powerful an Archduke, blessed among the children of Arad, it displeased me, I will erase him from.the surface of the earth, perhaps that was my jealousy speaking because I knew that even though I have lived for many years and that human had barely lived for fifty years, he is powerful and might cut me down if I lose my gaze for a second.|

Rein yawned as he read the ending of the first volume, ’Why do I get a feeling that this person is Filler" Rein brought out Filler’s diary and read through it.

Perfection is what I seek, I have always believed that the only thing that is impossible for us as humanity is what we think is impossible, look at where humanity is today, among powerful races we have still managed to keep our prominence that was something anyone would have deemed an impossibility, I will raise humanity’s worth to the extreme, I will create a perfect legacy, I will lead humanity to the peak of races with a sword in my hand I will cut down everything and everyone that stand before us, this is my resolve before I create, before I create Moonslashing

Rein turned to the next page.

I have tried and tried, I have created a link between synergy of sword strikes, I’ve been able to see that every strike should have a will which should be the wielder greatest assert, as a swordsman no strike is too little, when you think of your sword has just a weapon, it will only be a weapon, when you think of your sword as an extension of yourself and that it carries your burden, it will gladly accept the responsibility, there is a dormant will even in a rusted metal, how much more a great sword.

That was the end, Rein again turned to the next page.

The picture matters to anything you will cut as a swordsman, it is not the strength you put into the sword, do not be so hard on it, if you are so hard it will react like a piece of metal and only cut what it touches, it is an extension, you are wielding your will, handle it softly and with care and cut, then you will cut even what you can’t see nor touch.

’It looked like he kept trying over and over again and the little lesson he learnt, he jotted down, it wasn’t like he really wrote how to use it here... but I moonslashing the same thing as sword of the moon?’ Rein asked himself as he turned to another page of the diary and read,

I have done it, after twelve years, I have finally been able to create a slash that reaches the moon, without applying sword aura, I was able to perfect it, perhaps it’s beauty is in the fact that it is a skill that creates an aura of its own.

Rein turned to the rest of the pages but they were blank, all blank then the last page he wrote,

He was a creature of utter darkness yet he reeks of perfection, a perfection I cannot accept yet defeat. The red eyed humanoid

And that was the last page of the book that was suppose to be a book that he thought was going to teach him sword of the moon like the old man used it, he could not be offended. But he swallowed his spit and sighed. Ariel popped up,

Immediately a shock wave hit Rein’s head and he fainted before he even realised. Since Voss was busy looking around he wasn’t able to realize that Rein had passed out not until an hour later, he ran towards him and calmly bent down, it was beautiful how he could still keep his cool when someone he sword service to was laying on the floor.

"Did he sleep off while reading...?" He sat down and placed Rein on his leg as je waited for him to wake up.

A little while later, as the day was already brightening up, Rein’s eyes opened.

The first thing he opened his eyes to was a dusty book cover, he quickly jumped and looked at Voss.

"It seems you have woken, how was it sir Rein"

"Wait... I wasn’t sleeping, was I"

"Oh sure you wasn’t sir Rein"

Rein looked at Voss. "I wasn’t"

Voss smiled at him, "You wasn’t"

"I fainted..."

"But snored..." Voss smiled.

’Ah dammit....Ariellllll’

Rein stood up but suddenly almost lost balance, "wowowo... what was that?...my feet suddenly feels numb, but the weird part is... I think I know why"

’Is this what Ariel meant when she said I will know it for real compared to it being likened unto me gaming mode. I can’t believe Ariel just downloaded into me, 7 different footwork and kick style martial art skills...’

Rein looked at Voss.

Voss who found the gaze uncomfortable quickly spoke up, "what sir Rein?..."

"Attack me" Rein said with a big smile on his face.

"No Sir Rein, I would never attack a god"

"The hell you already have"

"That was out of ignorance Sir Rein"

"It’s an order"

Voss immediately fell to one knee, "Please Sir Rein, can I not?"

"You must, it’s an order"...’why on earth is he so loyal, makes me want to keep him forever’

"Alright, if you insist" Voss stood up. "How?"

"What do you mean how?" Rein replied with a surprised look.

"I mean with a kick or a punch"

"However, just don’t use your soul weapon"

"Alright sir"

Immediately Voss threw one leg towards the front and threw the other cyclonically in the air towards Rein’s ear before he could follow Rein’s leg had already wrapped his coming kick and flew past his cheek. Little drops of blood began to drop from his cheeks, he touched it and looked at it. Even Rein with his leg stretched out in the same position was awed. He completely understood but found it hard to explain.

Even though Voss definitely threw his kick, it was more like the foot placing was predictable, he just had to exploit the holes, the concern Rein hard was did Filler create kicks too or was it just a well judged reaction based on the accurate knowledge of footwork. It was something he couldn’t just jump to conclusion about. Whatever it is, first he had to complete the skill, with how strong it felt to him, it was incomplete. They were pieces that he still had to find.

Rein clenched his fist as he thought. ’ I was able to these much just from the synthesis of Kazimir’s summary of what Giller looked like, if I can get my hands on all of Filler’s legacy, I wonder how much I will be able to get my hands on. For the first time, I have to ask who is this Filler, that makes an Archduke tremble with fear and run into hiding yet he wrote of it as though he was unsatisfied with his fight with his archduke, with the remaining volume of the books I will be able to get know what happened by the end of the fight, wait for me Filler. I will find you’ Rein sighed and the next thing he was Voss looking at him with the eye of a puppy that just found a new home.

Rein looked around before finally asking, "....uh...are you okay?"

"Never better, Master"

"Master?!"
