Chapter 127: Chapter 126: Cocky
In three days Rein was up and stronger than before and was ready to leave wherever he is.
Holfgar watched him as he gets dressed into his academy military as a drill would be going on for the general school.
"Is there anything you want to tell Reinard, boy"
Reinard slowly shook his head.
"Alright. But you do know you are different, it is hard to call you a human. If you decide to attack me or discharge even a little amount of killing intent it would trigger my transcendence. Which just shows how strong you are. So be careful out there, I will sort things out on this side and see how I can get your demonic beast for you"
"Belet is not a beast again..."
"What do you mean?"
"He’s a real demon now"
"Wait... That shouldn’t be possible"
"Why?"
’Is just me or I feel like my mode of communication has changed, why am I telling master these things and yet I don’t feel any emotions’

’well no one would really be the same after encountering a dragon, it all just prove that he is human and was also affected by the experience’
Holfgar in his head justified Rein’s strange attitude.
"Why are you telling me this now though?"
"I just discovered... I can’t transform into the beast will form but I have the skills, that only means Belet is not anymore a beast"
"hmm... Was that why he turned back"
"Well, I will leave now" Rein bowed slightly.
’eh? He suddenly seems polite’
"Rein" Holfgar called him back as he was about to leave the room.
"Sir?"
"Be careful out there, I just noticed but you seem to have gotten tall and handsome"
Rein smiled thinking that the vice-principal was making a joke.

Mancraa academy was a military school, the basic goal of the school is to train soldiers who would one day challenge the union seat. It was getting to the time of the year, the end of the year tour. It was called a tour but is more, the student would be divided into the seventeenth seat according to their ranks and would be touring the unions all seventeen of them that is the highest rank of them get to visit the first seat union leader. Rein was now a Colonel and this seems to be the first time he was wearing his uniform as a colonel. A black and blue attire completely different from the normal military uniform. The colonel uniform and upward had three layers of shirt, the normal white underwear, then a black shirt with a chain and pendant from the collar of the second shirt to the chest of the third black shirt which the collar blue-coloured and is a long shirt that reached his knee, then the belt was worn on the third shirt finally there’s a large black coat which he hung on his shoulder, as usual, his cap was held in his hand, he was very attractive on the uniform with his height and looks. Rein joined the rest of the colonels like him, the highest rank presently in the school was the brigadier general, which was just eight people, Jon, Nozick, Neza, Arnette, Goldevia, Natasha, Dion and Dugnis; a vampire. The next highest was the Colonel which Rein was a part of Sigrid, Braschiold, Zolin, Lorrim and many others, they were around 25, then followed by the lieutenant colonels, major, captains and lieutenants. Since the brigadier generals were few they were going in one group and would be visiting the first seat, the colonels would be grouped into a group of two according to the highest achievement point and would be busing the second seat like that was how they were grouped till the ones that will visit the seventeenth seat.
All the student queued according to their ranks and in their ranks, they queued according to their APs. Of course, Rein was the one standing in front of his rank class. Being the person with the highest achievement point amidst them. He stood out way too much, the girls kept staring and blushing and murmuring meanwhile he just stared. Behind him was Kai and behind Kai was Sigrid, she also found it weird but this was not the first time she was seeing it, being the one that was caring for him the entire two weeks until he woke, at first she found it very unusual, no explanations could be given but she learnt to restrain herself and wait till Rein was going to talk. She instead was disgusted by the ladies that kept blushing at the sight of him.
Rein couldn’t care less about them, he just focused on the people arriving.
’My perception has greatly increased apart from the fact that I can sense people, I can tell their capacity, whether or not I will be able to take them on and win, lose a part of my body or not win.’
Suddenly Rein frowned his face.
’This enormous strength...’
The principal walked onto the stage, his large black and red robe fluttering around and his long hair fluttering steadily. The principal as usual finally settled on his seat, the whole crowd entered immediate silence, having used 9 months in the academy they were now pretty used to how things worked, instructors didn’t need to keep shouting at this stage the only student that are strong remained, the student that would for sure graduate the academy if they survive just this one that was in front of them.
The Head instructor Korral came out as usual to address all of them.
"It is with great honour to have been with you for the past nine months, many have died and many have been disqualified but the fact that you are here definitely means that you all are the toughest of the toughest, as we know our ear calendar, the 10th month of every year marks the end of every calendar and the beginning of another and next year is the year of two moons, a year that would be different, a rare year that only happens every 777 calendars, plus it is a lunar year, we have never had this kind of coincidence as far as the history of mankind and other races in general remembers, so definitely next year would be different. This should be how the program goes, you all should go on a tour of three days meet the Union leaders and see for yourself a glimpse of what we call true strength but because of the series of predicted events that seem to be surfacing. The academy has decided to let you use a month with the union leaders and they would be personally training you."
The student screamed with joy but as soon as Korral started they went silent.
"After one month you guys shall be holding the 3rd test, immediately after and it shall be held within the academy grounds. Yes, I will simply say it. It would be a death match between student and instructors, as you know no instructor in this academy is a small fry, student would be given a tag that they may present an instructor, the instructor has no choice but to accept the challenge, the first to surrender loses however there could be cases of death if one refuses to surrender, it is allowed. Well, then we would wish you a happy stay. Just my advice; do not mess with just anybody within whatever Leader’s territory you find yourself in if you want to come back alive. Then the principal and his vice would address you all."
The principal stepped forward, he looked at every one of them calmly before he began to speak.
"I am joyous and well impressed that a large amount of you made it this far because about a hundred and fifty years ago only one person used to make it to this stage. In a true sense, the academy has never ended during those periods, it only ended when one man was still standing even after all the trials, just one man. Yes, it has gone soft under my watch, the world is demanding quantity as much as it is demanding quality. You all are future heroes, legends that will erase the legends and heroes of the past but know your place"
A heavy burden fell on the atmosphere almost all the student fell on their knees as they felt a stiffened pain in their chest. Very few were left standing, all the males in brigadier general rank were standing, Rein, Kai and Cualli were the only ones standing in the colonel rank while every other student fell to their knees.
Of course, they were an exceptional student that would resist but all of them were struggling so hard that it was visible, Cualli was already bleeding internally but Rein...

Rein immediately glared at the principal with a monstrous gaze,

At once Rein felt three different weapons at his neck, he was immediately surrounded by three clown-masked guys in black clothing, even Kai behind him but he didn’t even seem to blink an eye. as if he had expected them.

Korral’s eyes widened,
’How dare he?!’
Holfgar slapped his face softly.
All the student were confused but the likes of Nozick, Neza and Dugnis.
’He’s strong’ Reinard broke a sweat.
