"You f**king Thought,"
’Psy-Kinesis, Don’t Move!’ my words rang out in the head of the assailant like a stone dropped into a calm pond, freezing and causing them to lock up.
’Unless spoken to, you will remain silent.’ Following my first two-word order, I quickly spat out another seven, draining my PC further; however, it was a necessary precaution.
It was unknown how strong the opponent was, but the fact they froze with the simple two-word command and didn’t require more effort was more than enough for me to understand they had a Low Intellect stat.
From the start, I ended up using a two-step process. My verbal speaking wasn’t unwarranted; it served the singular purpose of achieving the one requirement of my Talent in the early ranks.
Eye contact.
As annoying as it was, until I reached the Beta-Rank, eye contact was an absolute requirement, and without it, there was ZERO chance of my Talent working on the opponent; thus, I spoke up, drawing the assailant’s attention before activating my Talent and issuing commands.
’You will stay where you are and not move an inch.’ Adding another 11 words to my opponent, I placed my hands atop the edge of the playpen and, in a fluid motion, vaulted over before landing gracefully on the ground with my dagger in my left hand at the ready.
’Tsk, two words, seven words, then 11; I am spending too much PC on a scrub,’
Twenty words, usually that would be 40 PC, adding on to it the extra six from my activation, and I was at 46 PC; however, since I needed the command to be more than just a suggestion that would fade in seconds, I burned nearly my entire pool of particles, dropping me down to a measly 13 PC in the tank.
My presence caused the assailant’s body to twitch as their brain whirled to understand what was happening.
In his mind, there was no plausible reason his mission should have failed, and he had taken every precaution, bribed several hospital staff members, and even gone so far as to hide his identity and presence with multiple items purchased from the Alpha Shop.
"I bet you are pretty confused right now, aren’t you?" I asked, a creepy and sadistic expression spread across my childish face.
The added soft glow from my Talent’s activation bathed my visage in an eerie light, adding to the horrifying sight of a small child wielding a dagger the size of his entire arm.
PUCHI!
After my speaking, the crystal clear sound of a blade stabbing into flesh smacked around the room, followed by a very quiet groan of pain.
"Woe is you, unable to move, unable to cry out, how scared you must feel."
PUCHI!
Thrusting my left arm forward for a second time, I gave the assailant a matching wound on the upper part of their opposite thigh, severing the muscles; my two strikes were more than simple stabs since I twisted and pulled the dagger through the flesh.
Upon extracting my dagger from the right leg of the person, I noticed a slight dip in their body, which ended up causing the person to sag as their body wished to collapse. Yet, my command refused to allow that to occur.
"Hm, that’s no good; you’re too tall for me to have a nice, long chat with; how about we do something about that?" Tilting my head to the side cutely, I looked up at the much larger person and saw a combination of terror and anguish in their eyes, causing my smile to widen as I felt a rush of excitement from their fear and pain.
’oof, maybe I do have the makings of a serial killer…better keep those intrusive thoughts in check, anyway, let’s take this person down to my level.’ Ruminating on that fleeting thought, I moved like a speeding bullet, running a complete circle around the assailant in the blink of an eye.
As I passed around their back, my left hand extended out slightly, twirling the dagger around my wrist, and with two quick swishes of the blade, I severed their Achilles tendons.
Usually, this would be more than enough to drop a person to the ground, but I knew better; between the increase in physique brought about by leveling up and Racial evolutions, alongside my Talent’s effects, even if their body was shutting down, so long as someone under my will was conscious their body would remain in place, unable to move.
Coming around to the place before the person I had left, I smiled up innocently and used the last of my PC on a single word.
’KNEEL!’
THUD
My voice entered the person’s mind like ten tons of bricks, dropping them to my eye level, where I could finally see recognition in their eyes.

"Ah, well, well, well, what do we have here, someone who has been under the effects of my Talent and lived to tell the tale, now, that’s refreshing." Reaching up, I snatched down the hood covering the person’s head, revealing a head of shaggy, firey red hair.
Next, I not so gently ripped off the mask, covering their face, and beamed widely as I now knew who was stupid enough to attempt a sneak attack on my newborn brother.
"Oh, that’s a shocker; if it isn’t the younger version of Vesaragon’s third in command, Hero Codename, Tozai, real name Jasper Harris."
"Of all the people coming back to the past, I had thought for sure you’d try meeting up with my brother at some point since you were one of his so-called best friends, yet here you are, trying to murder him before he can even defend himself. Tisk Tisk."
Feeling lightheaded due to only having a single point of PC left, while I spoke, I began downing one particle potion after another until I was back at the full 110 points.
"Well, I suppose the cat is out of the bag; you’d have to be utterly moronic not to understand my true identity by now, considering this isn’t the first time I’ve forced you to kneel before me, so yes, your thoughts are correct, I am the Illusive and notorious Xipher," taking a bow first, I jumped up, grabbed Jasper by the hair and slammed him face first into the tiled floor.
