**BACK TO COLORADO**

"And you, little Dravey, have fallen perfectly for my carefully laid trap!"

"Lock Down,"

SNAP

With a loud snap of my fingers, the immediate area suddenly felt heavy, as if gravity had intensified three-fold, and there was a visible shift in the air, akin to the mirage you see on the street during a hot summer day.

While I was in full swing with my bubbly Xipher Persona, Draven was anything but because the moment I snapped my fingers, the purple portal behind him vanished into thin air. No matter what he attempted, it wouldn’t reappear.

"Now then, Little Dravey, hows about we finish this little game once and for all? No more running, shall we?"

"You!" Dropping his façade, Draven, understanding he was cornered and couldn’t escape, attempted to put distance between us and prepare for a fight; unfortunately, that wasn’t about to happen.

"Geo-Spike!" suddenly appearing out of nowhere, being half carried, was my alter-ego Nexus, looking battered and beaten but with one arm up as he manifested dozens of needle-like spikes that shot up from the ground and stabbed into Draven’s legs, rooting him in place.

"NEXUS!" Draven screamed as he tried to rip his legs free, even at the cost of shredding them; meanwhile, before he could, three powerful bursts of air slammed into his body, one from behind and one from each the left and right.

"GAH!"

And it didn’t end there either because two transparent barriers slammed into his front and back after the air blasts dispursed, sandwiching Draven in between.

"Oof, that’s gotta hurt, hehe, it seems the Heroes hate you even more than me now, quite hysterical if you ask me," with two little bounces, I skipped forward and observed the smooshed face of Draven, which resembled a child pressing his nose against a window and flicked it.

"Sturdy as always, Lady Castle, I must say," then with a flash of humor in my eyes, I used Actuate at 50% and punched through the barrier with my right fist, straight into Draven’s head, fully intending to pop it like a grape…and…

SPLAT

I followed through until I felt the barrier behind Draven Shatter; only then did I release my Actuate and pull my arm back just in time to see the Crown turning back into a liquid and splashing onto the torso of the headless corpse.

Glancing at my arm for a split second, I noticed the damage was fairly serious, but I pushed through the pain and smirked at the headless corpse of Draven as it slumped down to its knees and fell chest-first to the ground.

However, I knew better than to leave it at that, and without hesitation, using my left hand, which was about 35% healed, I took two particle bombs off my utility belt, armed them, and dropped them directly on the headless corpse.

"Little Heroes, I’d take a step back if I were you," Looking over my shoulder and smiling with my eyes, I saw my brother in particular FREAK THE ABSOLUTE FUCK OUT as he watched me before bolting toward his wife, scooping her up and bolting for the edge of the platform.

Not far behind him, Sonas was carrying Piniki, My father sprinting at full speed, and then Xilia with Golem Nexus.

That’s right, Golem, as we had planned ahead of time before I made my appearance as Xipher, I had done a swift Bait and Switch by utilizing a combination of the Teleporter and Xilia’s stealth skill. We seamlessly made the swap, and after dropping a Psy-Tag on the Golem, allowing me to control it remotely, I charged it up with PC, and voila, substitution no Jutsu was complete.

’If this doesn’t kill you…well, then you truly are a cockroach.’ Utilizing Actuate at 20%, I, too, made my escape, except instead of heading in the same direction as the others, I moved past the gate and up the mountain, allowing me to gain the high ground in case something happened.

WOOOOOOM BOOOOOOM

Standing several hundred feet up, I watched as the bombs exploded; however, just before they did, my pupils constricted, as for a split second, I noticed Draven’s headless body squirming…and changing.

More importantly, my eyes watched the Crown, which snaked its way down the corpse’s left arm and wrist before solidifying on the index finger of the corpse’s left hand.

’Mother fucker, Draven, you little roach,’ sucking my teeth, I looked away from the explosion, uncaring about the end result as I now knew it wasn’t actually Draven who we had executed.

"Hehehehehehehe, wow, a pitty, isn’t it Xipher." From somewhere above, an ominous voice reverberated from the clouds, causing me to roll my head and look toward the sky lazily.

"We could have been legends together, but now you’ve thrown that all away." His voice seemed omnipresent and thrown from somewhere else, almost as if playing on speakers in the sky.

"And for what? To help the Heroes? I feel disgusted! I can’t believe I ever looked up to you!"

"Ho hum, Little Dravey, you honestly believe me to have worked alongside those fools. Do you truly view me in such a light to lower myself to their level when I am so much better than they could ever dream to be?" Shrugging my shoulders and playing off as if I weren’t terribly injured, even though the slight movement of my right arm sent lightning through my body, I quipped.

"I didn’t ask them to do that. No, in fact, I was perfectly capable of dealing with your little cloned Left Index all by myself; it’s you who should be ashamed, after all,"

FWOOOOSHHHH

Spinning around, I kicked without hesitation while activating Actuate at 25%

BAM

Sniping the NightWalker as it attempted to ambush me from behind.

"Petty tricks won’t work; I’m more surprised that you allowed your underlings access to your Crown; what does that say about you, little Dravey?"

"You’ve once again interfered with my plans, once bitten twice shy, then again, at least this time, I was able to gather valuable information bout your strength this time around." I could hear the laughter in Draven’s words, and that was when it finally dawned on me…I knew where he was.

"So you say, at least I had the gall to actually show up, hehe, unlike you, who is hiding inside his little tower, like a Cave Troll, hehe. Keep hiding, little Dravey; I will come for you one of these days."
