Standing before a large oak table, I finished explaining my finding in the form of a briefing to Erik Colt, who, although looking a few years younger, appeared just about as I had remembered him to be.
Imposing demeanor, firey red hair, well-toned muscles, tanned skin, and intense piercing eyes that seemed to see through a person. Unlike myself, who was wearing my combat armor, Erik was wearing an expensive business suit, tie and all.
"What you say seems a bit farfetched, and I have half a mind to write it all off as conjecture; how sure are you in your translations?" Erik said as he leaned back in his chair and examined me from top to bottom.
"100 Percent Mr.Colt, in the Origin Timeline, my primary profession was that of a Scientist. I held multiple degrees in varying fields and spent years traveling the world to obtain texts and other records of different magic profiles, including but not limited to Runes."
"In my experience, there is one unified language when it comes to them, and so long as you have a decent grasp on how they function, it’s a lot like piecing together a puzzle; it all slots in place to form a cohesive and functioning circuit." Standing my ground and looking unfazed by the 12 armed bodyguards circling the room or the man known to run the largest mercenary group in the world, I explained.
"So what you are saying is the Runes are used as a programming language, which dictates what the spell circle is supposed to do," Fredrick asked, causing everyone to look at him, but I didn’t miss a beat.
"Correct, and that is why I can say with absolute certainty what I have; we are dealing with a Tower that takes the shape of a large mountain; however, internally, it will be MUCH larger than the size of Colorado."
Walking over to the dry-erase board on the far side of the room, I picked two of the markers, one black, one red, and I used half of the board to perfectly replicate a drawing of the Inscription while circling the key runes as I had in the pictures, then began my lecture starting with the center of the diagram.
"These runes here, here, and here all dictate the connection between what I call the Void, or space where Instances exist, and Earth. The clusters of runes around each are basic location tracking and connection points."
"Then these here and here are for choosing which Instance will be brought over. As I’ve stated, it seems to be a Version of the caverns I personally have never seen before, where instead of normal monsters, it appears to be filled with an astronomical number of Undead of the Human variety." From the center of the Inscription, I moved toward the northwest quadrant and circled several more runes.
"These runes here act as a filter, not unlike you would find on an internet browser, only it searches for specific types of instances, ones with a large variety of Particle types, the size of the instance, and so forth."
"From this, we can surmise that the Instance will range from Alpha to Delta, potentially higher, which leads us to the southwest quadrant, where we find the formation of the tower here on Earth."
"Although there are multiple runes I don’t recognize, using context clues provided by the surrounding runes, I surmise that their purpose is to form a link to Arkadia itself and establish a watered-down version of the system before bestowing it upon those who enter, providing they don’t already have access as we do." Stepping to the right side of the diagram, I addressed what the southeast quadrant represents.
"This here is the establishment of a multilayered structure, spanning hundreds of miles in size and about a mile toward the sky and below ground. While my dimensions may be slightly off since I’m not the most artistically inclined person, this is the rough layout of what the Runes state."
Taking three steps to the right, I began by drawing a line to represent ground level. From there, I sketched out the basic outline of what I could see in the runes: a five-peaked mountain, each at different levels and branching off at various segments. The first peak, jagged as it was, appeared a quarter of the way up on the leftmost side of the structure.
The second was on the right side and roughly a thousand feet above the first.
The third was more difficult to draw since I wasn’t doing a 3d rendering of the mountain, so I placed it in the center of the drawing before moving on to the fourth, which was another thousand feet above and on the north face.
Lastly was the pinnacle of the structure, the fifth peak, which tapered off the top of the mountain.
"Apart from the highest point, the others are all going to be facing in each of the cardinal directions, First-Peak West, Second-Peak East, Third-Peak South, and Fourth-Peak North, with the final Fifth-Peak of course pointing to the sky."

Once finished with my sketch, I brought the marker back down to the line representing the ground and began drawing a perfect mirror image of the mountain, only this time, it was underground; then, I took a step back and waited for everyone in the room to finish their observations, before moving back to the diagram of the Inscription and addressing the northeast quadrant.
"The northeast quadrant of the inscription is by far the most detailed and difficult for me to decipher, not because the Runes are unfamiliar to me, but because it’s all jumbled up, and there are literally hundreds of thousands of runes."
"So bare with me here because I am still working through the meaning; it’s like seeing a source code of an extensive videogame; sometimes there’s meaningless shit thrown in because it couldn’t be deleted from the source without fucking up the circuit." At this comment, I heard Fredrick snicker, no doubt because he had experimented once or twice in game coding, which earned him a stern look from Erik.
"I apologize, Father; I couldn’t help myself; I’m just thinking about all the games I’ve broken into and found code, as Nexus was saying."
"Please ignore my son and carry on Nexus," Shaking his head in disappointment, Erik gave me the go-ahead to start explaining my findings about the northeast quadrant.
