Things were different now; although I relied heavily on my Talent and Particle use, I now had to worry about my Stats…and after the high I got from capping everything before reaching Alpha-Rank, I’d be lying if I said I didn’t wanna chase that high a second time.

While Brenden was in the middle of his little fit, I found myself lost in thought and weighing my options; the way I saw it, there were really only three valid options here.

On the one hand, I could push my Intellect stat to a point where no one Returner could fight against my Talent; 89 points was simply that high of a figure that it would basically make it so that unless my target were a Member of a long-lived and Intelligent Myriad Race, I’d be able to control them with relative ease.

On the other hand, pushing my PC into triple digits would not only drastically increase the versatility of my Talent and allow for a radical change in how often I could use it, but it would also signal the start of my re-creating my puppet army here in the Past.

Lastly, there was the route I had paved back before Ranking up to Alpha…and that was the completionist build, where I max out as many of my stats as possible.

"It’s February 19th…that means we have a little under two months before we need to head to Colorado…" thinking aloud, I caught movement in the corner of my eye and almost reacted until I noticed what was happening.

In half a second, a small cake was placed in front of me, and a party hat was strapped to my head.

"Happy belated birthday fuckface; you were in the instance and missed it," Brenden said obnoxiously before blowing on one of those kazoo streamer things which smacked me in the face.

"Eh, woohoo…I’m seven now…and I still look five years old; you know, I’m REALLY hoping that we have a whole Saiyan thing going on because if I’m stuck looking like a child for years, I had damn well better suddenly pop up with a massive growth spurt." Rolling my eyes and with sarcasm leaking through my words, I flicked Brenden in the forehead and took a bite of the red velvet birthday cake.

"So what’s my present then," raising an eyebrow, I watched my brother break into a wide grin as he pulled out several VHS Tapes and placed them on the table behind the command console.

"Tapes?"

"Yep…but not just any tapes, this, my older brother, is all the episodes of DBZ in the Ocean Dub that you missed, IE, up to the Ginyu arc and right before the Funi dub began."

"OH SHIT! GOOD LOOKS BRENDEN! Not gonna lie; the OG dub totally slipped my mind, like I knew the funi dub started in September, but my brain forgot about the Canadian Dub."

Swiping the tapes for later viewing and throwing them into my inventory, I thanked Brenden and then had him replace my stats on the monitor with his own.

From what I could tell, he had been fairly busy. He already distributed the majority of his stats, choosing to dump the lion’s share into his physical stats and then a few into his PC while using his Circulation skill to increase his Meta Physical Stats by a significant margin.

However, when my eyes landed on his Intellect stat, I had to force myself from laughing aloud. I mean, it wasn’t a secret that my brother was a meathead, but seeing how low his INT stat was when compared to mine was comical beyond belief.

"COUGH, so, heh, heh, ok, whew, good," I said while fighting through bouts of giggles.

"What…what’s so funny about my stats? I think they’re rather impressive." Crossing his arms over his chest and feeling insecure for an unknown reason, Brenden gave me a sidelong glance.

"Nothing, nothing, anyway, I assume you get roughly 0.056 points per Cycle of your Circulation skill…that’s a rather obscure number…." Changing the topic before he could realize what I was making fun of, I ran some quick numbers and came up with that figure.

"Obscure? I thought it was on the high end, considering the old Circulation skill I used gave me a random figure between 0.001 and 0.003 points; this one is WAY higher…why…hold on how large is your boost." Scrunching up his face, Brenden asked with curiosity.

"Well…each cycle nets me 0.125 points in my Physical Stats, with a random chance at boosting other stats."

Upon hearing the number coming from my mouth, I could have sworn I heard a shattering glass sound coming from Brenden, but it must have been in my imagination or something.

"0.125 times Six Cycles for being at 6C…that’s….uh…carries the…"

"It’s 3/4ths of a point, Brenden; I get 0.75 points after a full day’s worth of 6 Cycles."

"What the hell kind of unfair shit is that I’m over here struggling to get my numbers, and you earn practically double!" Brenden howled as he threw his hands in the air.

"Uh…anyway, is 40 the 6C stat cap? I noticed you didn’t bother adding the remaining points you have."

"What? No, I don’t think so; I just ran out of points; I even got all the extra ones; I think it’s like 45 or something…" He responded with drooping shoulders. Clearly, finding out I was naturally going to have higher stats than him must have sent him into a depression that I knew he’d be rid of in a few minutes.

"I see…so two times the number of levels with an additional 10 for the bonus levels means our actual cap is 45." That revelation caused my left eye to begin twitching unconsciously.

And it didn’t take long for my rational brain to catch up with the reason behind the twitch.

"Oh, you have got to be fucking kidding me right now…."

I was 0.5 stat points short of having enough to cap my Meta-Physical Stats fully….
