Clearing my throat and extending my arms, I pointed at the first book on the left of both rows and began introducing them one after another.
"From left to right are the following books: The Magician’s Stone, The Alcove of Mystery, The Detainee of Razapan, The Chalice of Flames, The Wyverns Order, The Hybrid-Prince, and last but not least, The Finale of my series, The Cursed Artifacts." Like Jennifer, soon everyone had a copy in hand of one of the 14 books I had laid out and were casually flipping through them.
"This is astounding; over the years, we’ve had a lot of authors come through with grand plans of creating a full series of novels, yet never before has someone come to us with seven completely edited novels in two different versions nonetheless." Once again, taking the lead, to say that Nathan was stunned silly would be an understatement.
Sitting across the table from the man, I scanned his mind with my Telepathy Skill and nearly burst out laughing. The guy was going insane right now, imagining all the potential money he could make off me and my work.
But at some point, his greed shifted directions. He realized something extremely detrimental to his company, and that was the fact that apart from the publishing rights, the contracts he had finished signing stated everything belonged to me instead of his publishing company, which transformed his greedy smile into a disturbed frown.
It was the complete opposite of the contract he initially had with Jennifer, and that fact alone nearly made the middle-aged man faint from shock.
’I fucked up…’ was now the central thought running through Nathan’s mind, making me roll my eyes.
’That reminds me, I wonder how she’s handling things,’ I thought while turning my attention to Jennifer, who appeared ready to have a mental breakdown at any second.
And her thoughts proved how right my ready of her body language was.
’This makes no sense… it’s all here, everything I had in my head… there are some changes here and there, but it’s like he was in my head and knew everything I had imagined and planned for the series….how is it possible.’
Watching the woman out of the corner of my eye, I watched as her thoughts became cluttered and chaotic, which was further aided by my breaking of her mind.
She wasn’t able to go against me, yet to see the very thing she had envisioned and brought to life completed before she could even get past the first book frightened her to no end.

’Is what he said true…did I subconsciously plagiarise his story? No, that can’t be right. I’ve been planning it out for the better part of the last decade before he was even born … so how did he know?’ Noticing that Jennifer was getting dangerously close to questioning if I knew the future or something, I cleared my throat again and addressed the higher-ups.
"I have quite a few plans for the series, and while I am aware that it hasn’t yet entered publication and the first book has yet to be sold, I want you to understand how far-reaching my plans are."
"Merchandise, audiobooks, movies, I even have a couple of spin-off series planned for television, and it all starts here, with the publication of the Magician’s Stone." My bringing up of alternative venues of cash flow raised many eyebrows, but I didn’t give them a chance to act on their thoughts.
"But before all that, let me set my initial publication release window; Magician’s Stone should continue its current pace and be published here in a couple of months, and I am aiming for a yearly release schedule for the first four books." If I didn’t have the full attention of everyone before, I did now, as all eyes were fully locked on me, well, the papers I was pushing toward each of the higher-ups, that is.
On each sheet was a timetable for what I wanted the release dates to look like.
"The Magician’s Stone 1997, The Alcove of Mystery 1998, The Detainee of Razapan 1999, The Chalice of Flames 2000, but here is where I want things to take a slight shift." Following along with my words, I pointed at the line signifying The Wyverns Order.
"As these books are longer, I wish to have a gap for books 5-7, so The Wyverns Order should be released in 2003, The Hybrid-Prince 2005, and lastly, the final book, The Cursed Artifacts, should be published in 2007."
"I know what some of you are thinking: why should I have a three-year gap between books four and five? Well, that’s simple because, during that time, I plan on having the Movie Franchise start production, with the first movie releasing in 2001."
"Cal….I think we are getting ahead of ourselves here. The Magician’s Stone hasn’t even reached shelves yet, and you are already projecting the next decade onward…" Nathan tried cutting in, but I stopped him dead in his tracks.
"Usually, you’d think so, but I have reason to believe this series will take off with the youth of the world, not just here in the United Kingdom, but also in the United States."
"As I have already taken the liberty to create a different version specifically catering to Americans with slight changes such as the word Mum, being turned into Mom and so on, I predict the Henry Potter Series will grow far beyond what you could ever imagine."
"I won’t use flashy words or make haughty promises, but I assure you, if you give my franchise your full support, we will be sitting fat and rich here in the next ten years." With that final piece said, I sat back and watched those at the opposite end of the table converse while falling into thought.
’I may be toeing the line here by revealing so much, but I need them on board. Although I plan to keep the same schedule as what I know from the Origin Timeline, changes need to be made.’
’With the modifications which I added to the books, along with my being a ghostwriter, I predict that I can bring the franchise past its glory in the Origin Timeline, turning it into a money-making Juggernaut akin to the Largest companies of the future.’
