"Foolish, maybe, but I am fairly certain of what you are. In this day and age, a mere Human can’t stand up against us, let alone defeat younglings; the Elder should have easily dealt with you; however, you are still standing and even know too much about the structure of my Race." From what I could decipher through her tone, I knew the lady Fae was trying to toy with me and bait me into speaking, but I wasn’t dumb enough to fall for her apparent tricks, so I stayed quiet while picking up dead bodies and golden blood.

"Knows too much, is extremely powerful, and you are even using our Artifact with little to no effect on your body; all these signs point to two conclusions: one, you are an extremely rare specimen, one unseen in the human race for millions of years, or…you are like me." Her words practically dripped with venom, yet I was unhindered in my task and allowed the bitch to continue spewing conjectures.

As I said, I was already convinced by her opening lines that she was a Returner, and now she was trying her best to get me to admit I was one as well, which wasn’t going to happen.

"Hah, staying silent won’t protect you, silly human; you are far too young to play mind games with me, and you will learn, in time, just as those of your lowly race did once Arkadia changed all our lives, allowing us to step foot in the open finally." There was an edge of triumph in her tone as she spat the word Arkadia, causing my eyes to narrow and my actions to halt for a split second.

"I knew it, you’re batshit crazy woman. Leh sigh; why is it I always attract all the crazy whores like flies." Blinking twice, I finished racing around collecting loot before tossing my dagger and hatchet into my Inventory and making my way toward the island’s shore to stare out at the ocean.

"Who are you calling a crazy whore? Human Boy, you seem not to understand who it is you are talking TO!" Shouting into her Comm Amulet like a third-rate villain, I couldn’t help but roll my eyes and clear my throat.

"Yadda Yadda, blah blah, You aren’t the Queen of the Fae; you aren’t even a high-ranking official. At the very best, you amassed a small army for yourself using your looks and slightly above-average intelligence." Standing on the shoreline, I glanced out at the open ocean, watching the waves crash and allowing the water to splash my body to clean the accumulated grime away.

"It isn’t I who should be afraid, woman, no, it’s YOU who should be; if I could do this much damage to your people on such a small island with limited bodies to hack through, imagine what I can do if I step foot on Elfame, now THAT sounds like quite a fun Idea."

Elfame, or the land of the Fae, has many names throughout history and lore. In some folklore, it is called Fairyland; in others, Faerieland, hell even the Norse had a name for it, Álfheimr or just plain Alfheim.

But its true name was Elfame, as I had learned through an interesting chain of events that don’t need to be told…and totally doesn’t involve me randomly being teleported there against my will where an ungodly number of Fae Women ravaged me….COUGH.

"DON’T YOU SAY THE NAME OF MY HOMELAND WITH THAT FILTHY AND FOUL MOUTH OF YOURS, HUMAN PIG!" The sudden screeching sound ringing in my head caused me to stumble and almost fall into the ocean due to its sheer pitch and intensity, having caught me completely off guard.

"For fuck sake bitch, that was my goddamn ears," I growled while rubbing my temples.

"If I want to go to Elfame, no one can stop me, at least not now, maybe one day, but as it stands, even if your entire Race were to attack me, I don’t doubt I’d come out the victor, so shut the fuck up you winged dragonfly whore." I said before spitting on the ground in anger.

"You think that because you’ve already reached Alpha-Rank and have a powerful Talent, you stand a chance against my proud Fae Bretherin, FOOLISH! WE ARE A SUPERIOR RACE; you Filthy 1C Basic Humans can not fathom the power we hold now that I have returned to the Past!"

’Wow, she’s really all in now; I think I may have to downgrade her from Third-Rate to fourth-rate Villain; I mean, who the fuck straight up announces that they are actively training their race in preparation for a war to an enemy.’ Slightly amazed that she was revealing so much, I crossed my arms and let her continue blabbing while trying to find a good point to cut her speech off.

"I will bring prosperity to my people by becoming the next Titania, AND I WILL SHOW YOU ALL THAT…"

"Yeah, that’s nice and all; I don’t really care, but even if you raised your entire Race to 4C, I doubt it would help much. You insects are bugs on a windshield in my eyes; anyway, ima crush this amulet; wash your neck bitch, ’cause I’m comin for that ass one day." I let my words seem ambiguous and even hyper-sexualized at the end of it in an attempt to make the Lady Fae as uncomfortable as possible while separating my personality from the one I maintained as Xipher.

Looking down at the Silver Comm Amulet, I clutched it tightly, applying enough pressure to form cracks on its surface. Right before it shattered, I heard the Lady Fae’s response, causing me to break into a sadistic grin under my mask.

"I HEREBY SWEAR ON MY NAME, DIANTHE ILAYDA TRYAMON, THAT ON THIS DAY, YOU HAVE BECOME AN ETERNAL ENEMY OF THE FAE. MAY THE MIGHT OF OUR PEOPLE STRIKE YOU DOWN!"

CRACK

With a bright flash of green light and a loud crack, I destroyed the center of the Comm Amulet, mainly what I believed to be the power source, due to the flash of light while keeping the body of the device intact.
