Lucifer thought that looking for his comrades would be easy, but it wasn't.
Ever since Lucifer came out of the cave, he had been constantly chased by both humans and monsters. Now, humans and monsters had become Lucifer's enemies.
Lucifer could fight against Beast-level monsters and could easily shake off tougher monsters, but fighting against humans was completely different.
Unlike monsters, humans could think, so they could come up with a battle plan to defeat Lucifer. Furthermore, no matter where he hid, they would still find him.

The person standing far away was a young man with yellow eyes. In his hand was a cheap iron sword, but somehow it was even stronger than other expensive swords.
Lucifer ran towards the young man and shouted:
"Destroy the people behind me, Adam!"
After receiving the command, Adam raised the sword high with both hands. Then, he slashed down with great force.
Although Adam was quite far away from the others, his sword could not reach them. And Adam did not want to use a real sword on ordinary people also.
The slash he slashed down created a strong wind, which flew towards the other 5 people, causing them to fly back and hit the tree trunk. All of them immediately fainted.

Lucifer and Adam talked as they walked towards the five people who were unconscious under the tree.
Lucifer quickly searched through their bags to find the marbles that would force them to return to Atlas Academy and not be able to take the test anymore.
"What are you doing?" Adam asked.
"I'm looking for the marbles that will force them to return to school."
Suddenly, Adam placed his hand on Lucifer's shoulder.
"What's wrong?" Lucifer turned to look at him.
"Can you let them continue taking the test? I don't want them to fail this test."
Lucifer was stunned after hearing Adam's words. But then he soon understood why Adam said such words.
In the novel, Adam was portrayed as a kind person, always thinking of others, with the noble qualities of a great hero. So of course he would not agree with what Lucifer was doing.
"Alright."
Lucifer sighed and stood up. He wanted to make the other 5 people leave the island to increase his group's position on the ranking. But Lucifer did not want to displease Adam even more.
They continued their journey together. Now that Lucifer was protected by one of the strongest people in the school, he was no longer worried.

"So have you found the others yet?" Adam asked.
"Of course not. But at least I'm marked on the map, so the other members will probably come here on their own."
As soon as he finished speaking, both Lucifer and Adam suddenly heard someone shouting their names from afar:
"Lucifer, Adam!"
The two of them immediately turned around, and there, they saw Sierra walking with Chaewon. An extremely energetic girl was walking with a person who didn't talk much, what a special duo.
"Are you girls together?" Lucifer asked.
"Yeah, since our locations are quite close to each other." Sierra replied while Chaewon just nodded.
"Have you guys killed any monsters, or encountered any contestants?" Adam asked.
"We've killed a few Beast-level monsters." Sierra said.
After chatting for a while, the group decided to continue on their journey to find Hikaru and Lucian.
Now, Lucifer had a nearly complete team. They had a main damage dealer named Adam, a person who could manipulate a monster to help Adam named Chaewon, a person who could buff damage to teammates, Sierra, and finally a rat who just stood by and gained Experience without having to do anything.
Adam, Chaewon, and Sierra worked quite well together. When encountering monsters, Sierra would immediately strengthen the members of the group. After that, Sierra would manipulate a few monsters to kill the remaining ones or make it stand still if there was only one.
And finally, Adam would be the one to finish off the remaining monsters. Thanks to that, their group was able to kill a lot of monsters, and Lucifer also received a lot of Experiences without having to do anything.
All Lucifer did was scratch the monsters' bodies and pretend to be fighting hard. Fortunately, his teammates didn't care about Lucifer's performance because they had to focus on killing other monsters.
'I was right in choosing this team. My group will be at the top soon.'
