Chapter 194: Anxiety
Abigail couldn’t react, even if she could, she wouldn’t be able to speak a single word at the moment. She clearly knew what that meant, how could she not? She wasn’t from this world in the first place.
So there’s only one reason why this person had memories of all those guys....
Her own doctor also transmigrated with her.
Her shock level was so high that she only stared at him unblinkingly with widened eyes. She didn’t even know how to react at the moment.
Just then she felt the man’s fingers caressing her cheek as he looked at her worriedly and said, "Abigail.... I know you can’t speak, so just nod. You get what I’m talking about, right?"
Abigail nodded.
Owen released the breath he was holding and smiled, backing away a little and straightening up his back. He looked at her seriously and said, "Then, let me take care of you for a while until we deal with that killer. After that, we will discuss the rest of the doubtful things later, agreed?"
Abigail stared at the man who looked similar to her own doctor. For a moment, his face and Owen’s overlapped with him, then the next second, Nicholas’s cold looking face overlapped with that of him and then followed by Asher.
She lowered her head in confusion. This event was beyond the level of comprehension. How could one single person turn into three in this life? No wonder she was attracted towards them all. It turns out, they were all one same person!
A trace of anger burned in her heart. She really wanted to know who played this terrible game with her and kill that person!
Okay, killing was a strong word, but she could at least destroy that man’s house and create such havoc that he would have a hard time dealing with that kind of mess and he would remember her for the rest of his life! Even if it’s a God of transmigration, she didn’t care!
Owen could sense traces of anger emanating from her as he looked at her in amusement. He knew what she could be thinking, but he didn’t mean to tease her about it. Even if he could, it would be extremely awkward.
He had memories of all those people, but he was Owen, not Nicholas, not Asher, and neither Silas. He had his own desires, and even he didn’t know why he acted in an impulse to save Abigail. But there was an intense desire burning in his heart, urging him to save her even at the cost of his life. That desire was so strong that other logical aspects were overwhelmed, making him only think of her well being at the moment.
He sighed and rubbed the bridge of his nose tiredly.
Since he couldn’t tell what was going on with him, he would continue to act as nothing happened and robotically go with the flow. Now that things had already come to this point, he would merely take care of her. After all, he did want her alive.
For some reason, Nicholas’s memories flashed in his eyes filled with R rated scenes. Even though Nicholas had been through that phase, it doesn’t mean he was comfortable with that. Heck, Owen was a freaking virgin!
His entire face turned red upon facing that entire hoard of sexually intimate scenes, but they didn’t stop. They only showed in front of his eyes one after another, each one more intimate than the next.
Owen’s face was so red by this time that he couldn’t even glance at Abigail’s direction. He merely looked at her and said hurriedly, "I’ll be back."
Thus, he left an utterly confused Abigail behind, who had a thoughtful look on her face as if she were thinking about something. Just then, a thought appeared on her face as the corners of her lips twitched as she averted her eyes.
She understood why Owen was reacting like that. Since he had all the memories, he should also know about how many times Nicholas had sex with her.
Nicholas.....
The light in Abigail’s eyes dimmed. It would have been better if she hadn’t been told of this truth. It would have been fine if he didn’t have to die and have his consciousness mix up with Owen....
He was fine in a sense. She didn’t want him to die....
Abigail pulled at her bottom lips as she tried her best not to cry, but at the same time, she knew it was effortless. After all, she was the one who was responsible for his death. If it weren for her, the villain wouldn’t have killed everyone.
And now that Owen was here, she knew that the villain would come once again. It was best for Abigail to die before that person would touch even a single hair on Owen’s body.
But then she looked at her hands that trembled while moving as a look of determination appeared in her eyes. She took a few deep breaths and held the wheel of her chair and tried her best to push it. When she failed, she pushed it once again and moved the chair a little.
But even that moment exhausted all her energy. She gasped as she leaned against the chair as she looked at the window in a daze.
The more she stayed here, she knew the more it would be dangerous for Owen. Thus, after resting for a moment, she pushed the wheel once again as she reached slowly toward the door.
Her eyes fixed on the scene outside. She wasn’t done yet. Even though her hands trembled, even though she couldn’t, she should get away from here. She might as well jump over the cliff she had seen on the way. That would be the best ending for a girl like her who kills everyone around her.
Thus, she pushed the wheel even more vigorously at this time, almost reaching the gate. just when she thought she would end up getting out of there, two hands grabbed the handle of the wheelchair behind her, pulling her behind and turning her chair forward.
Owen’s anxious face appeared in front of her.
