Chapter 2201: Chapter 2201: Damn, Isn’t This the Person We Met at the Illegal Zone Auction House?
"Alright." Alfred Garland went to make a phone call.
Just then, Nathalie Quinlan’s phone lit up—it was a call from Emma Gabehart.
Nathalie Quinlan figured they had arrived, and answered casually, "Hello."
"Boss, we’ve arrived." Indeed, Emma Gabehart had arrived.
Nathalie Quinlan lowered her gaze and turned to Sadam Vinson, who was idly standing by. "Help me go pick something up."
Sadam Vinson agreed without a second thought, eagerly getting to his feet. "What is it? A package? Let’s go, Nathalie, I’ll help you get it."
Nathalie Quinlan led him out.
Three minutes later, a green Jeep screeched to a halt in front of them.
"Boss." As soon as the car stopped, a young woman got out from the passenger seat.
The young woman had narrow shoulders and a slim waist; the black leather jacket she wore accentuated her great figure. Her short hair was sharp, and her striking appearance could not be concealed.
Sadam Vinson recognized her at once and was somewhat stunned. "It’s you?"
Emma Gabehart initially headed straight toward Nathalie Quinlan, but upon hearing someone speak to her, she paused and noticed Sadam Vinson, her peach blossom eyes slightly lifting, giving off a vivid and lively aura.
She glanced at Sadam Vinson before turning back to the girl. "Who is he?"
Nathalie Quinlan replied, "A friend."
Sadam Vinson was still occupied with memories of seeing her at the underground auction in the Illegal Zone and didn’t quite register it immediately.
Noticing his reaction out of the corner of her eye, Nathalie Quinlan paused, pursed her lips, and gave a brief introduction to the two. "Sadam Vinson, my friend."
Then she introduced Emma Gabehart to Sadam Vinson. "Emma Gabehart, also my... friend."
Though Emma Gabehart called her boss in both the Red Alliance and Black Mandala, in Nathalie Quinlan’s heart, Emma Gabehart was simply a friend, the kind of friend she had known for years and shared life-and-death experiences with.
Emma Gabehart’s impishness receded considerably. She approached the dazed pretty boy and extended her hand. Her long, elegant fingernails were painted red, giving off a more carefree vibe than Sadam Vinson himself: "Hello, Young Master Qin..."
She now belatedly remembered having met him somewhere before, blinked an eye suggestively, and said, "I remember we met at the auction, I once delivered a box to you on behalf of Sun. Do you recall?"
Of course, Sadam Vinson remembered. He just stood there dumbfounded for a moment at the hand extended toward him, yet after all, he was still Young Master Qin from Beijing.
Sadam Vinson reacted quickly enough.
He coughed to cover his awkwardness, extended his hand to shake the woman’s, displaying gentlemanly flair. "Hello."
Emma Gabehart withdrew her hand, turned, casually draped her arm over the girl’s shoulder, and asked, "Boss, where’s your partner?"
She looked up at the villa, genuinely curious. "Isn’t he coming out?"
"Yeah." Nathalie Quinlan knew she wanted to meet Amadeus Yancey. She rubbed her brows and gently removed the arm draped over her shoulder, understanding her intent. "I’ll have him treat you to dinner next time."
"That sounds great!" Emma Gabehart’s red lips curled into a smile, half-jokingly said, "I want a grand feast."
Nathalie Quinlan agreed readily, "Alright."
Emma Gabehart wasted no time, and walked back, kicking the car door twice, roughly reminding the person inside, "How much longer are you going to wait? Hurry up and get the person down."
Before long, the unconscious Zevaney Kingsley was thrown out of the car.
Emma Gabehart looked at the unconscious girl slumped like a sack, slightly raised her head, and tossed Nathalie Quinlan a phone.
"This girl secretly informed the Kingsleys Family of us. It won’t be long before they trace it back to us."
