Chapter 859: Chapter 884: She Knows He’s Here (5)

"Mind your own business! How dare you secretly let her go!" Ron King shouted angrily, holding a bottle of wine.

He went out to pick up Zuri Ginger and bought a bottle of wine along the way, planning to warm up with it later and gather some courage for the big job.

Ten million, that’s definitely no small amount—it’s more than he could make in a lifetime.

"Yeah, why do you have to be so two-faced?" Zuri Ginger sneered at Charlotte Chester, adding with a cold laugh.

What she enjoyed the most was belittling Charlotte Chester in front of Ron King. It felt just like when Charlotte used to boss her around at home, scolding whenever her temper flared up.

"It’s none of your damn business!" Charlotte Chester snapped, casting her a glance. "I’m talking to your dad, not you! You little brat!"

"You’re the brat! Who are you calling names? You shameless old wench, how dare you insult others!"

"I’ll rip your mouth apart!"

"Dad, you need to stop her!"

"Why are you, a grown-up, picking on a kid?!"

"I should have strangled you at birth!" 𝒻𝑟𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝑛𝘰𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝘤𝘰𝘮

Charlotte Chester lunged at Zuri Ginger, and in a fit of anger, Ron King waved his hand to hit her.

"Bang!"

After a loud crash, the entire carriage suddenly fell silent.

Immediately following,

Charlotte Chester fell straight to the ground with a thud.

Bright red blood flowed down her temple. She stared wide-eyed at Mia Ginger, "Bob..."

"Mom!"

Mia Ginger collapsed to her knees beside her in shock.

Charlotte Chester closed her eyes.

A single tear trickled down, rolling onto the carriage floor.

Mia Ginger gazed at her in disbelief.

The three behind her were also clearly stunned. Ron King snapped back to reality, shoved her aside, bent down to check for a pulse, and stepped back several paces.

Dead?

He had just swung a wine bottle; how did it kill her?

Did he commit murder?

Ron King glanced at the wine bottle rolling on the ground, its bottom covered in blood.

It seemed he had struck Charlotte Chester’s temple.

Whether he did or not, he was unsure.

But, with her blood pooling under her head, it was obvious to him he had killed her.

This turn of events left Ford and Zuri Ginger terrified. They exchanged glances and looked to Ron King, asking, "What do we do now?"

Ron King turned his gaze to Mia Ginger.

Mia Ginger looked at him and sidestepped towards the edge of the carriage.

"Leave. Forget about the money, let’s just get out tonight," Ron King said, swallowing hard.

Killing someone meant paying with his life. He needed to escape; ransom and kidnapping were no longer part of the plan.

"How do we leave?" Zuri Ginger looked at him, slowly calming down, "Shouldn’t we handle her body first, cover it for a few days?"

"Then what do you suggest?" Ron King snapped impatiently, "And what about this girl?"

"Her?" Zuri Ginger looked at Mia Ginger, suddenly smirking, "I have a way. You don’t need to worry about her."

"What way do you have?" Ron King frowned at her.

"The son of the chairman of Jack Davis Electronics has always wanted to sleep with her. We just hand her over to him and get paid!" Zuri Ginger quickly said, glancing at Ron King.

"Jack Davis Electronics?" Ron King frowned, "How do you know the chairman’s son?"

"I’ve known him for a long time."

"Are you sure you can hand her over to him?"

"Absolutely!" Zuri Ginger said irritably.
