"Even if I die, I will never yield!" The Stone Giant slapped his own chest and roared, "In this world, no one can conquer me! Back then that vicious woman couldn’t do it, and you’re so much weaker than her, it’s even more impossible!"
Ling Feng stared into the Stone Man’s eyes and said calmly, "What are you afraid of?"
"Afraid? What a joke, I’d be afraid?" The Stone Man sneered.
Ling Feng chuckled. "If you’re not afraid, then why are you so agitated? Why do you keep repeating that you’ll never submit? Shan Ling, stop lying to your own heart. You don’t want to die. The Stone Man’s gaze flickered a bit. Ling Feng saw through his bluff at a glance, but he still refused to yield. Back then, even though Yu Rujiao refined the entire planet, she still failed to completely conquer the Shan Ling. Now this Ling Feng was far inferior to Yu Rujiao, so it looked down on him even more.

"Fine!" Ling Feng nodded. "Since you put it that way, I’ll accept your trial. I’ll let you know: never underestimate the heart of someone who aims to become the War God!"
The Stone Man came up to Ling Feng and stared at him. "My trial is very simple. If you can defeat the Mountain God Guardian, then I’ll acknowledge you! And my Mountain God Guardians are these six Stone Giants!"
"They each represent one of the six powers of the Element of Earth. Only by defeating them one by one can you earn my recognition! So, you may begin. But if you happen to die during the challenge, don’t blame me!"
Ling Feng smiled. "Since it’s a challenge, life and death are naturally on the line! I’ve long been mentally prepared! Then let’s begin right now!"
As he spoke, Ling Feng’s body in midair gradually expanded, then crashed down with a boom, growing to about the same size as the Stone Giants.
